Balochistan people feel marginalised as Pakistan settles outsiders in province to change demographics

Pakistan keeps finding unique ways to harass its estranged Baloch community. The Pakistani establishment – the military, and the spy agencies, have been settling in myriad ethnicities from the region in the sparsely-populated Balochistan.

The Baloch, who have been battling enforced disappearances of their students and women, dead bodies of brutally tortured youth strewn across the Baloch desert and hills, a total deprivation of the general populace, human development parameters that match those of Sub-Saharan Africa and resource exploitation are now protesting against domiciles being made for people from other parts of the country and even Afghanistan.

People of diverse ethnicities like Punjabis, Pashtuns, Mohajirs and even the Hazaras from Afghanistan are being settled in the vast emptiness of Balochistan – a region that touches Afghanistan and Iran to its west and opens up to the vital Arabian Sea to the south.

Sobdar Baloch, human rights activist and member of the Free Balochistan Movement (FBM) says that by settling outsiders, Pakistan is trying to ensure that the Baloch population is reduced to a minority. He says: “Today if a Baloch person goes to the National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) for getting an identity card made, the government will not make their identity cards. These are cards exactly like the Aadhar cards in India. But for people from outside Balochistan, these cards will be made in a few days.”

Every big attempt by the Pakistani authorities to provide fake domiciles and local certificates to communities from outside has invited protests from the marginalised Baloch people. A couple of years back, the people launched the #BalochistanRejectsBogusDomiciles campaign on social media. The campaign ran for weeks with students and the civil society fuelling the debate.

Sobdar puts the blame on the Pakistani spy agency ISI, which he says is trying to pre-empt future possibilities of a referendum being held in Balochistan. He says: “The scale of the domicile issue is very large and secretive. Around 2005, Pakistani agencies sent a large number of informers in the guise of labourers, barbers and laundrymen. These people were sent to Baloch inhabited areas to spy on the local people.”

A touchy issue with the Baloch people, protests and violence broke out in September 2021 after locals in Barkhan district launched a strike to protest against the issuance of bogus domicile certificates. The Baloch people resent the issuance of fake and bogus domiciles as they are left out of jobs and scholarships.

People have taken the issue to the Balochistan High Court (BHC) where the court found thousands of fake and bogus domiciles across the province.

Consistent efforts by Baloch NGOs have led to the matter being raised in the Baloch provincial assembly as well as the Pakistani parliament. However, little has happened on the issue.

The once sleepy fishing city of Gwadar on the Arabian Sea turned into an investment hotspot after the Chinese fired up the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The enormous Chinese investment into the port town led to an influx of people from other parts of Pakistan. The local Baloch feel deprived as they are not recruited in jobs under the CPEC in Balochistan.

Though corruption is a major driver leading to fake domiciles and local identity cards, it has only heightened suspicion against Pakistan’s intentions among the Baloch community.

Sobdar alleges that Pakistan has deployed many ways to convert them into a minority.

He says: “Students from Punjab are sent to Balochistan universities on scholarships and people from outside the province are given positions in government jobs and civil services. Once they are given local identity cards, they avail government facilities, buy property, land and settle down in Balochistan. This also harms the progress and development of the native Baloch people.”

He points out to the large number of Hazaras from Iran and Afghanistan who have made Balochistan’s capital Quetta their home. “The Hazara community living in Quetta had come from Iran. They obtained local domiciles, bought properties from the local Baloch and now they are given positions in the Pakistani army, police, the Frontier Corps and even the civil administration.”

This is the fear that consumes the Baloch community.

शकुन्तला-दुष्यंत संवाद – महाभारत आदिपर्व- प्रेम, लोक एवं सशक्तिकरण का स्वर

महाभारत एक ऐसा ग्रन्थ है, जिसके विषय में यह कहा गया कि इस ग्रन्थ को घर में नहीं लाना चाहिए क्योंकि भाइयों में लड़ाई हो जाएगी। परन्तु क्या वास्तव में ऐसा है? क्या वास्तव में महर्षि वेदव्यास कृत महाभारत को घर में नहीं रखा जाना चाहिए? क्या वास्तव में यह भाइयों में झगड़ा करवाता है? जबकि इस पूरे ग्रन्थ में परिवार, भाई, बहन, पिता, आदि की महत्ता पर बात की गयी है। इसके हर पर्व में एक नई सीख है। आदिपर्व में एक प्रकरण है, शकुन्तला एवं दुष्यंत का।

इस प्रकरण में शकुन्तला किस प्रकार दुष्यंत से प्रश्न कर रही हैं, कि वह अपनी संतान को नहीं पहचान रहे हैं तथा पत्नी और संतान का क्या स्थान होता है:

जब वह यह स्वीकार ही नहीं करते हैं कि उन्होंने कभी शकुन्तला के साथ विवाह किया था, तो वह कहती हैं

“हे दुष्यंत, यदि प्रार्थना करने वाली मेरी प्रार्थना आप नहीं सुनेंगे तो आज आपका सिर सैकड़ों भागों में फट जाएगा!”

इसके उपरान्त वह कहती हैं कि

“भार्या पति: संप्रविश्य स यस्माज्जायते पुन:

जायाय आईटीआई जायात्वं पुराणा: कवयो बिदु:”

अर्थात प्राचीन ज्ञानी लोग कहा करते हैं कि पति स्वयं गर्भ के रूप में पत्नी के रूप में प्रविष्ट होकर पुत्र के रूप में जन्म लेता है, इसलिए पत्नी जाया कही जाती है।

फिर वह कहती हैं कि

ज्ञानी पुरुष के जो पुत्र होता है, वह पुत्र संतानों से परलोकवासी पितरों का उद्धार करता है!”

इसके बाद भी दुष्यंत नहीं सुनते हैं। वह उस समय राजा के रूप में हैं, उनकी कुछ मर्यादाएं हैं, वह संभवतया अपने मुख से नहीं स्वीकार करने का साहस कर पा रहे हैं कि उन्होंने ही शकुन्तला से विवाह किया था। संभवतया वह उन्ही साक्षी तत्वों द्वारा प्रमाणित किए जाने की प्रतीक्षा में हैं, जिनका उल्लेख शकुन्तला ने यह कहते हुए किया था कि

“मन्यते पापकं कृत्वा न कश्चिद्वेत्ति मामिति,

विदन्ति चैनं देवाश्च स्वश्वेवांतरपुरष:”

अर्थात लोग पाप करके समझते हैं कि किसी ने मुझे नहीं जाना, परन्तु देव और हृदय के अन्दर रहने वाले परमपुरुष सब कुछ जानते हैं!”

आदित्य, चंद्रमा, वायु, अग्नि, आकाश, धरती, जल, हृदय, यम, दिन, रात्रि, दोनों संध्या और धर्म, यह सब मनुष्य के सम्पूर्ण चरित्रों को जानते हैं!”

संभवतया दुष्यंत इन्ही द्वारा कुछ कहे जाने की प्रतीक्षा में हैं!

“रति, प्रीति, और धर्म सभी पत्नी के ही हाथों में होते हैं, अत: ज्ञानी को चाहिए कि वह अति क्रोधित होने पर भी पत्नी से कभी अप्रिय बात न करे”

इस पर भी दुष्यंत जब मौन रहते हैं तो वह स्त्रियों के विषय में क्या कहती हैं:

“आत्मनो जन्मन: क्षेत्रं पुण्यं रामा: सनातनम,

ऋषीणामपि का शक्ति: स्नष्टुं रामामृते प्रजा:”

“स्त्रियाँ आत्मा का सनातन और पवित्र जन्मक्षेत्र हैं; ऋषियों में भी क्या शक्ति है जो वह बिना स्त्री के प्रजा रच सकें?”

“जब पुत्र धरती के धूल में शरीर को सानकर पास आकर के पिता के अंगों से लिपट जाता है तो उससे और अधिक सुख क्या होगा?”

यह सभी वाक्य शकुंतला दुष्यंत को यह स्मरण कराते हुए कह रही हैं कि वह उनके साथ विवाह करके आए थे तथा अब वह अपने उस वचन का पालन करें, जो विवाह के समय दिया था।

विवाह के समय शकुन्तला ने यह दुष्यंत से यह वचन लिया था कि वह तभी विवाह करेंगी जब इस विवाह से उत्पन्न पुत्र को वह अपना उत्तराधिकारी घोषित करेंगे!

अब वह नन्हे भरत को लेकर आई हैं, जिनका नाम उस समय सर्वदमन है, उनकी धरोहर को उन्हें सौंपने के लिए! वह बताना चाहती हैं कि यह नन्हा अवश्य है, परन्तु शेर के दांत गिन लेता है, यह नन्हा अवश्य है परन्तु उसका नाम “सर्वदमन” रखा गया है! परन्तु जब वह राजसभा में पहुँचती हैं, तब राजा उन्हें पहचानने से इंकार कर देते हैं।

शकुन्तला एवं दुष्यंत का यह संवाद असत्य और भ्रम के उस आवरण को हटाता है, जो यह कहा करता है कि स्त्रियों का आदर नहीं था तथा उन्हें शिक्षा ग्रहण नहीं करने दिया जाता था। यदि ज्ञान ग्रहण नहीं करने दिया जाता था तो शकुन्तला के भीतर यह ज्ञान कहाँ से आया कि वह दुष्यंत को ही कठघरे में खड़ा कर रही हैं?

परन्तु राजा दुष्यंत राजा होने की मर्यादा से संभवतया बंधे हुए हैं!

वह पुन: अपमान करते हुए कहते हैं कि शकुन्तला मेनका की पुत्री होते हुए भी असत्य भाषण क्यों कर रही हैं?

इस पर शकुन्तला आगे स्पष्ट कहती हैं कि उनमें और दुष्यंत में कितना भेद है, परन्तु फिर भी वह अपने प्रेम के कारण ही इस सभा में खड़ी हैं और फिर राजा को दर्पण दिखाती हैं।

वह कहती हैं कि

हे राजेन्द्र, देखो, मेरु और सरसों के समान हम दोनों में भेद है, तुम धरती पर चलते हो और मैं आकाश में उडती हूँ!”

उसके उपरान्त वह कई उदाहरण देते हुए कहती हैं कि जो पुरुष अपने समान ही संतान को उत्पन्न कर उसका अपमान करता है, देवगण भी उसका अनादर करते हैं एवं उन्हें सुख नहीं प्राप्त होता है!

इसके उपरान्त वह पुत्र के भी प्रकार बताती हैं, और कहती है कि भगवान मनु ने स्वपत्नी एवं अन्य स्त्रियों से उत्पन्न, पाए हुए, खरीदे हुए, विवर्धित तथा संस्कारित ये पांच प्रकार के पुत्र बताए हैं।

जब वह यह देखती हैं कि तनिक भी राजा पर प्रभाव नहीं हो रहा है तो वह कहती हैं कि

हे दुष्यंत! आपके स्वीकार न करने पर भी मेरा यह पुत्र शैलराज से अलंकृत इस पृथ्वी का चारों समुद्रों तक शासन करेगा!

उसके उपरान्त आकाशवाणी होती है, जो कहती है कि हे दुष्यंत, अपने पुत्र को स्वीकारो एवं शकुन्तला का अनादर मत करो, जो कुछ भी शकुन्तला ने कहा है, वह सत्य है।

इस आकाशवाणी को सुनकर दुष्यंत अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए एवं उन्होंने अपने मंत्रियों एवं सभासदों से कहा कि आप इन देवदूत की वाणी पर ध्यान दीजिये एवं “मैं भी वैसा जानता हूँ कि इस पुत्र ने मुझसे ही जन्म लिया है!”

उसके उपरान्त दुष्यंत यह कहते हैं कि हे देवी लोकों में कोई नहीं जानता कि मैंने तुमसे विवाह किया है। अत: तुम्हारी शुद्धि हेतु मैंने ऐसा व्यवहार किया। और कुछ लोग ऐसा समझ सकते हैं कि केवल सुख की अभिलाषा से इनका संगम हुआ, विवाह नहीं हुआ, यह बिना विधि से उत्पन्न हुआ पुत्र राज्य का अधिकारी हुआ है, बस लोकापवाद को दूर करने के लिए ऐसा चरित्र प्रकट किया!”

यह प्रकरण पत्नी द्वारा पति को उसके तथा उन दोनों की सन्तान को अधिकार दिलाने के सम्बन्ध में अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण संवाद है, जो यह बताता है कि हिन्दू स्त्री को जिस प्रकार यह प्रमाणित किया जाता रहा कि पति द्वारा अन्याय सहे जाने पर वह भी मौन रही, और वह एक गूंगी वस्तु रही, बस रोती रही, इन सबका खंडन शकुन्तला करती हैं।

वह जब देखती हैं कि दुष्यंत मान ही नहीं रहे हैं, तो भी उन्हें अपने पालनपोषण पर विश्वास है और वह कहती हैं कि मेरा पुत्र तो आपके बिना भी शासन करेगा!

यह हिन्दू ग्रंथों में वर्णित स्त्री की कथा है, शक्ति की कथा है, तभी यह प्रपोगैंडा प्रसारित किया गया कि “महाभारत घर में न रखें!”

यदि घर में रखा, और अध्ययन किया तो हिन्दू स्त्री शकुन्तला को वामपंथी एजेंडे में रोती हुई नहीं बल्कि राजा से प्रश्न करती हुई पत्नी के रूप में देखेंगी और उनके भीतर भी शक्ति आएगी!

Rs. 2000 fine, 4-month jail to ‘maintain majesty of law’: SC ‘punishes’ Vijay Mallya

The Supreme Court on Monday sentenced fugitive businessman Vijay Mallya to four months’ imprisonment for contempt of court in 2017, as he had suppressed information from the court.

It also ordered Mallya to deposit $40 million — which he had transferred to his family members in violation of the court orders – failing which attachment of his properties will begin.

A bench of Justices U.U. Lalit, S. Ravindra Bhat, and P. S. Narasimha said: “In the circumstances, in order to maintain the majesty of law, we must impose adequate punishment upon the contemnor and must also pass necessary directions so that the advantages secured by the contemnor or anyone claiming under him are set at naught and the amounts in question are available in execution of the decrees passed in the concerned recovery proceedings.”

The bench noted that Mallya never showed any remorse nor tendered any apology for his conduct, as it imposed a sentence of four months and fine of Rs 2,000 on him. The bench added that in case the amount of fine is not deposited within the time stipulated, Mallya would undergo a further sentence of two months.

The bench also ordered Mallya to deposit $40 million, which he had transferred to his family members in violation of the court orders, failing which attachment of his properties will begin. “The contemnor (Mallya) and the beneficiaries under said transactions, shall be bound to deposit the amount received by such beneficiaries along with interest at the rate of 8 per cent per annum with the concerned Recovery Officer within four weeks,” it said.

“In case the amounts are not so deposited, the concerned Recovery Officer shall be entitled to take appropriate proceedings for recovery of said amounts; and Government of India and all the concerned agencies shall extend assistance and complete cooperation. It shall be open to take such appropriate steps including the appointment of Forensic Auditor(s).”

The top court also directed the Ministry of Home Affairs to secure the presence of the contemnor to undergo the imprisonment imposed upon him. “Needless to say, the Government of India including the Ministry of External Affairs and all other agencies or instrumentalities shall carry out the directions issued by this court with due diligence and utmost expediency. A Compliance Report shall thereafter be filed in the Registry of this Court,” it said.

On February 10, the top court gave final opportunity to Mallya, seeking his appearance, before it pronounced sentence in contempt case filed by banks, in which he was found guilty.

The top court said it has found Mallya guilty of contempt and punishment has to be imposed. It added that going by normal logic, the contemnor has to be heard, but he has not appeared before the court so far.

It had said that if Mallya is not present in the hearing, then the matter will be taken to its logical conclusion.

According to a judgment delivered on July 14, 2017, Mallya was found guilty of contempt for not paying Rs 9,000 crore worth of dues to the banks despite repeated directions. Additionally, he was also accused of not disclosing his assets and also secretly trying to dispose of the assets to defeat the purpose of recovery proceedings.

On October 6 2020, the MHA told the Supreme Court that the UK Home Office has intimated, there is a further legal issue which needs to be resolved before Mallya’s extradition takes place and this issue is outside and apart from the extradition process having effect under the UK law.

A preposterous observation by the custodians of our Constitution which could have dangerous repercussions

The observations  made by the honourable justices of the Supreme Court in reference  to Nupur Sharma’s plea of clubbing her FIR’s – which is only the prerogative of the Supreme  court – has shocked and stunned the nation. 

Article 21 of the constitution which according to the Supreme court is at the “heart of fundamental rights,” and is explicit in reaffirming the ” Right of women to be treated with decency and dignity,” and “Right to social security and protection of self and family”, seems to have been overlooked in the hasty observations. 

With open beheading threats being issued on videos to Nupur Sharma by religious fanatics and hate mongers she was well within her rights to approach the highest court and seek clubbing of all FIR’s against her so that she did not have to move from one state to another and be a sitting duck for jihadis who are baying for her blood. 

However instead of ensuring her personal safety and security by clubbing her FIR’s the honourable judges apart from reprimanding her for her insidious remarks held her responsible for the beheadings of Kanihya Lal and Umesh Kolhe which according to the observation of the esteemed judges happened because of the incendiary, provocative and inflammatory remarks of Nupur on a private channel debate. 

In blaming Nupur for the hindu beheadings and not clubbing the FIR’s against her the highest court has thrown her to the wolves (Islamic radicals). The highest court has blamed the ghastly and gory beheadings  of innocent hindus on the alleged incendiary and inflammatory and blasphemous remarks of Nupur aired on a news channel which was in response to a provocative  comment by a fellow panelist. 

Nupur should be brought to book for her blasphemous comments but does that deny her the right to seek justice from the highest court of the land which is the upholder of our constitution. Remember this is the same land where a mass murderer  like Kasab was given  state protection  which cost the state exchequer crores before he was eventually sent to the gallows.

If god forbid Nupur Sharma were to be killed by these radical Islamic terrorists  who have indulged in such horrendous and cowardly acts throughout  the world then will the highest court  accept  the blame for her killing.

The dastardly and cold blooded killing of the French secondary school teacher Samuel Paty in Conflans- Saint- Honorine on 16th October 2020  is still fresh in memory. The perpetrator of this heinous crime was Abdoullakh Anzorov and the weapon used to throttle the voice of the innocent teacher was a CLEAVER. So if we go by the observations of the Supreme court judges  then the onus of the the ghastly murder of Sameul lies with herself for mocking at the prophet and the perpetrator of this dastardly act was well within his rights for the way he acted.

This is ludicrous and preposterous and will set a dangerous precedent  though it’s just an observation and not a judgement. The fanatics,  radicals and jihadi elements will be further emboldened by these  observations to carry out their nefarious  designs in the country.

Men holding high offices particularly those of the highest court in the land should restrain from making such observations  as their is a very thin line between  a personal observation and a judgment  because the former is most likely to reflect on the latter. 

A person has been denied a simple right – which could  be the difference between life and death for her – by the highest court and her life has been left to the mercy of maniacs and Islamic radicals on the pretext that she was instrumental in instigating  the gruesome lynching and  beheadings of innocent Hindus. 

Islamic jihad and it’s fanatics  have been  responsible  for such beheadings and macabre murders in the past and history is replete with such massacres carried  out by invaders like Ghazni’s, Khilji’s and Aurangzeb’s  to name a few who did not need any instigators like Nupur to behead, slaughter or maim thousands if not millions of the opposite faith.

In fact Europe has seen the  ugly side of fanaticism, intolerance and Islamic  jihad in recent  times and the incidents  are bound to increase  with the burgeoning immigrant population. 

The observations by the Supreme court judges are in poor light and do not take into account the history of Islamic terrorists,  terror and jihadi mindset  being nurtured across the border in terror factories and in madarsas in our own country which is the root cause of such gory killings. The target killings of kashmiri  Hindus in the valley is going unabated without  any provocation. 

How many death threats and open videos of beheadings did Mahua Moitra and Leena Maimekalai receive from Hindu bigots and Right wing fundamentalists for her blasphemous  and derogatory remarks on Maa Kaali which hurt the sentiments of millions of Hindus. That sums up the levels of tolerance and where sanity lies.

The honourable judges could have been more sane.

UP resident Jang Bahadur murdered by Pakistani colleagues in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Jang Bahadur hailing from UP’s (Uttar Pradesh) Amethi district employed as a driver in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh is alleged to have been murdered by his Pakistan co-workers. A young Bharatiya named Arvind residing with the 43-year-old victim is reported to have broken the news to Jang Bahadur’s family members on the night of July 6.

Jang’s elderly father Rajnarayan has written to Union Minister Smriti Irani asking for an investigation into the incident and also wanted the government to ensure that his mortal remains are brought back. Arvind contacted Bahadur’s younger brother Vinod Yadav who lives and works in Kuwait. The family was despaired learning of Jang’s murder.

Bahadur left for Saudi Arabia on October 19, 2017, and wanted to return home in 2020. He had to cancel his plans owing to Covid and had informed his father as well as his son Saurabh on July 6 that he would come home for Janmashtami. When the incident became public, SHO Arun Kumar Dwivedi, SDM Savita Yadav, and CO Arpit Kapoor visited the victim’s family to gather information about the incident and counsel his family members too.

The victim’s family consists of his elderly father Raj Narayan and mother Ramavati, wife Manju Devi, 19-year-old son Saurabh studying for his graduation, and 17-year-old daughter Anjali studying for her intermediate, and 12-year-old son Gaurav studying in class 7. The family was grief-stricken when they learned of Jang Bahadur’s murder.

कट्टर मुस्लिमों का नया ‘गंगा-जमुनी’ पैंतरा – हिन्दुओ को झूठ बोल कर बदनाम करो, विक्टिम कार्ड खेलो और सांप्रदायिक दंगे कराओ

उदयपुर में कन्हैयालाल जी और अमरावती में उमेश कोल्हे जी की हत्या के बाद भारत में सामाजिक समीकरण बदल रहे हैं। इस घटना ने हिन्दू समाज को झकझोर कर रख दिया है, राज्य सरकार और पुलिस की अकर्मण्यता ने जनता को उद्वेलित कर दिया है। नूपुर शर्मा के कथित भड़काऊ वक्तव्य के पश्चात एकाएक कट्टर मुस्लिमों की ओर से हिन्दुओ को धमकियां दी जाने लगी हैं, ऐसी ही धमकियों की परिणीति कन्हैयालाल और उमेश जी की नृशंस हत्या के रूप में देखने को मिली है।

लेकिन इतना होने के बाद भी कट्टर मुस्लिम वर्ग शान्ति से नहीं बैठा है, उन्हें येन केन प्रकारेण समाज में द्वेष और वैमनस्य की भावना फैलानी ही है। इतना कुछ होने के बाद भी उनकी षड्यंत्र करने की प्रवृत्ति काम नहीं हुई है, अभी भी हिन्दुओं को धमकियां दी जा रही हैं, जहाँ कोई विवाद नहीं, वहां विवाद बनाया जा रहा है। ऐसा ही एक मामला भीलवाड़ा में देखने को मिला है, जहां एक 23 साल के हिन्दू युवक को कट्टरपंथी मुस्लिमों द्वारा धमकी भरे फोन आ रहे हैं, और उसे जान से मार देने की बात की जा रही है।

भीलवाड़ा में दो मुस्लिम युवकों ने एक हिन्दू युवक विशाल खटीक के सोशल आईडी से झूठी सांप्रदायिक पोस्ट कर उसे फंसा दिया। जिसके कारण ना सिर्फ उसे सात दिन जेल में भी रहना पड़ा, बल्कि उसे कट्टर मुस्लिम तत्वों द्वारा जान से मार देने की धमकियां भी मिल रही हैं। पुलिस के अनुसार यह मामला झूठा था, और इस युवक को एक षड्यंत्र के अंतर्गत फंसाया गया था।

जेल से बाहर आने के बाद विशाल ने कहा कि, “मुझ पर जेल का ठप्पा लगा है। वह कभी मिट नहीं पाएगा। मैं सात दिन ऐसे अपराध में जेल काटकर आया हूं, जो मैंने किया ही नहीं। जेल में सात दिन किस तरह से निकले, यह सिर्फ मैं जानता हूं। जेल से बाहर आने के बाद भी मेरी समस्या समाप्त नहीं हुई है। अब भी धमकी भरे फोन मुझे आ रहे है, मैं फोन पर समझा रहा हूं कि यह मैंने नहीं किया। अब मिलने वाले हर दूसरे परिचित को भी इस बात की सफाई देनी पड़ रही है कि, मैंने कोई अपराध नहीं किया है”।

विशाल के अनुसार उसकी सोशल मीडिया की आईडी को बदल कर, एक ख़ास मजहब के विरुद्ध टिप्पणियां फैलाई गयी। जिसके कारण उसके पास कट्टर मुस्लिमों के धमकी भरे फोन भी आ रहे है। उदयपुर में कन्हैयालाल हत्याकांड के बाद वह काफी डरा हुआ है। विशाल के अनुसार 20 जून की रात को जहाजपुर पुलिस उसे थाने लेकर आई थी। उसने पुलिस से विनती की, कि उसे इस मामले में झूठा फंसाया जा रहा है, लेकिन, पुलिस दूसरे पक्ष के दबाव में आ गयी और विशाल को 7 दिन के लिए जेल भेज दिया।

इस मामले में पुलिस ने जहाजपुर के गोल हथाई मोहल्ला निवासी तौफ़ीक़ उर्फ गुड्डू पुत्र अब्दुल मजीद पठान और देशवाली मोहल्ला निवासी दानिश पुत्र जहांगीर पठान को शुक्रवार को गिरफ्तार किया गया हैं। आरोपी तौफीक की विशाल से पुरानी दुश्मनी थी और उसे सबक सिखाना चाहते थे, इसलिए उन्होंने विशाल खटीक के सोशल मीडिया अकाउंट का स्क्रीनशॉट लेकर उसे एडिट किया था। इसके बाद धार्मिक भावना को ठेस पहुंचाने वाली टिप्पणी कर पोस्ट अपलोड कर दी थी, जिससे कस्बे में तनाव हो गया था। पुलिस ने इस मामले में 15 अन्य मुस्लिम युवकों के विरुद्ध भी मामला दर्ज किया है।

कर्नाटक में नाबालिग मुस्लिम लड़के ने हिन्दुओं पर हमला करने का झूठा आरोप लगाया

पिछले ही सप्ताह कर्नाटक में ऐसी ही घटना हुई, जहां एक मदरसे में पढ़ने वाले नाबालिग मुस्लिम बच्चे ने आरोप लगाया कि उस पर हिन्दुओं ने हमला किया, उसके साथ दुर्व्यवहार किया और उसके कपड़े फाड़ दिए। इसकी खबर मिलते ही मीडिया द्वारा इसे सांप्रदायिक अपराध की तरह प्रचरित्य किया गया और हिन्दुओं की गलत छवि बनाने का प्रयत्न किया गया।

हालांकि जांच के बाद पता लगा कि इस लड़के ने यह कहानी हिन्दुओं को बदनाम करने के लिए गढ़ी थी, उसके साथ कभी कोई मारपीट नहीं की गई। मंगलुरु के पुलिस आयुक्त एन शशि कुमार के अनुसार मुस्लिम लड़के ने अपनी कलम से अपनी शर्ट फाड़ दी, और उसने यह कहानी बनायी, क्योंकि उस पर घर और विद्यालय में ज्यादा ध्यान नहीं दिया जाता था।

पुलिस ने घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए इसकी त्वरित जांच की। अधिकारीयों ने परिस्थितिजन्य साक्ष्य एकत्र किये और वहां लगे हुए सीसीटीवी के फुटेज देखने के बाद पता लगा कि यह झूठी शिकायत थी। दरअसल, मुस्लिम लड़का पढ़ाई में ध्यान नहीं लगा पाता था, उसे सीखने में समस्या होतीथी, इसके अतिरिक्त अपने घर और कक्षा में भी उसे उपेक्षा सहन करनी पड़ती थी।

इस कारण उसने यह झूठी कहानी बनायी और बिना कारण हिन्दुओं पर आरोप लगा दिए। लड़के ने पहले कहा था कि सोमवार को चक्रवर्ती मैदान के पास रात लगभग साढ़े नौ बजे उसके साथ मारपीट की गई। उनकी शिकायत पर सूरथकल पुलिस स्टेशन में आईपीसी की धारा 320 के अंतर्गत एक पुलिस मामला दर्ज किया गया था।

इन दोनों मामलों को देख कर लगता है कि आयु कुछ भी हो, कट्टर मुस्लिम युवक और मदरसे में पढ़ने वाले छोटे बच्चे भी अपने मजहब में बतायी गयी कुरीतियों का दुरूपयोग करते हैं, ताकि काफिरों को परेशान जा सके, उन पर वर्चस्व स्थापित किया जा सके। यह दोनों ही घटनाएं इस दृष्टिकोण से घातक एवं खतरनाक हैं कि पहले से ही विभाजित समाज में यह घटनाएं कहीं पूरी तरह से विश्वास न हटवा दें, और बच्चे वाली घटना तो और भी खतरनाक है क्योंकि यह समुदाय के बच्चों को भी कठघरे में खड़ा कर रही है।

How the National Emblem on new Parliament building is unique

The 6.5-metre tall fully hand-crafted National Emblem of Bharat on the roof of the new Parliament building, weighing 16,000 kg, is made of high purity bronze.

There is no other similar depiction of the emblem, from the perspective of material and craftsmanship, anywhere else in Bharat.

Over 100 artisans from various parts of the country tirelessly worked on the design, crafting and casting of the emblem for over six months to bring out the quality that could be seen in the final installation.

The installation itself was a challenge as it was 32 metres above the upper ground level. Giving wings to the ambition of creating such an expression of the emblem needed dedication, meticulous supervision, and skilful installation — all depicting various elements of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’. When seated on the top of the temple of our democracy – the Parliament building – it truly represents the paradigm of ‘for the people, by the people’.

The design

The National Emblem is an adaptation from the Sarnath Lion Capital of Asoka which is preserved in the Sarnath Museum. The Lion Capital has four lions mounted back-to-back on a circular abacus. The frieze of the abacus is adorned with sculptures in high relief of an elephant, a galloping horse, a bull, and a lion separated by intervening Dharma Chakras.

The profile of the Lion Capital has been adopted as the National Emblem of Bharat. This finds pride of place and the design is adopted for the emblem above the Parliament building.

The process of casting of national emblem

A computer graphic sketch was made and based on that a clay model was created. Once approved by the competent authorities, the FPR Model was made. Then with the lost wax process, the wax mould and bronze cast was done.

The process of lost wax casting

To cast the clay into the bronze, a mould is made from the model, and the inside of this negative mould is brushed with melted wax to the desired thickness of the final bronze. After removal of the mould, the resultant wax shell is filled with a heat-resistant mixture.

Wax tubes, which provide ducts for pouring bronze during casting and vents for the gases produced in the process, are fitted to the outside of the wax shell. Metal pins are hammered through the shell into the core to secure it. Next, the prepared wax shell is completely covered in layers of heat-resistant fibre reinforced plastic, and the whole is inverted and placed in an oven.

During heating, the plaster dries and the wax runs out through the ducts created by the wax tubes. The plaster mould is then packed in sand, and molten bronze is poured through the ducts, filling the space left by the wax. When cool, the outer plaster and core are removed, and the bronze may receive finishing touches.

Finally, the statue is polished and breezed and ready with clear coat of protective polish and no paint to showcase the rich metal.

बांग्लादेश में हिन्दू शिक्षक बन रहे हैं कट्टरपंथी तत्वों का शिकार, हिंसा, उत्पीडन से लेकर हत्या

कभी भारत का अंग रहे बांग्लादेश में हिन्दुओं की स्थिति वैसे ही बहुत अच्छी नहीं थी, परन्तु अभी हाल ही में कई मामले जो सामने आए हैं, उनमें एक नया रुझान देखा जा रहा है और वह हिन्दू शिक्षकों पर मजहब के अपमान को लेकर हमले। अभी भी बांग्लादेश में हिन्दू काफी संख्या में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में कार्य कर रहे हैं, तो क्या यह इस कारण हो सकता है कि शिक्षा में हिन्दू आगे हैं या फिर वह मजहबी कट्टरता का शिकार हो रहे हैं?

पिछले दिनों बांग्लादेश से ऐसे ही हैरान करने वाले कई मामले सामने आए हैं। एक मामला सामने आया था जिसमें एक हिन्दू कॉलेज के प्रधानाध्यापक स्वप्न बिस्वास को जूते की माला जबरन पहनाई गयी थी। यह माला इसलिए पहनाई गयी थी क्योंकि आरोप लगाया था कि उनके कॉलेज के एक छात्र राहुल डे रॉय ने सोशल मीडिया पर नुपुर शर्मा की तस्वीर को साझा कर दिया था।

opindia की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार यह घटना 17 जून को नरेल सदर उपजिला में मिर्जापुर यूनाइटेड कॉलेज में हुई थी। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार एक हिन्दू विद्यार्थी राहुल देव ने नुपुर शर्मा की तस्वीर साझा की और उसकी प्रशंसा कर दी। जबकि नुपुर शर्मा को इस समय सबसे बड़ा खलनायक ही घोषित कर रखा गया है। जैसे ही यह post सोशल मीडिया पर गयी तो कट्टर इस्लामिस्ट तत्वों ने इस पोस्ट को देखकर राहुल से यह पोस्ट डिलीट करने के लिए कहा, परन्तु राहुल ने इंकार कर दिया।

इसके बाद प्रिंसिपल के पास शिकायत गई तो स्वप्न बिस्वास ने मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए राहुल को अपने ऑफिस में बुलाया और फिर पुलिस को कॉल कर दिया। परन्तु कट्टरपंथी मुस्लिमों को इससे भी सब्र नहीं हुआ और वह सब लोग शोर मचाने लगे। यह अफवाह फैला दी गयी कि प्रिंसिपल राहुल को बचा रहे हैं। यह समाचार सुनते ही कट्टरपंथी और एकत्र होने लगे।

हालांकि पुलिस भी आई, परन्तु पुलिस की संख्या कम होने के कारण कुछ नहीं हो सका, बाद में और पुलिस आई, परन्तु उसी अनुपात में कट्टरपंथी भी बढ़ गए। इस घटना के मध्य ही राहुल और प्रिंसिपल स्वप्न बिस्वास को जूते की माला पहनाई गयी।

बाद में शाम को जब पुलिस इतनी आई कि स्थिति को नियंत्रण में कर लेती, उसके बाद स्थिति पर नियंत्रण हुआ, परन्तु तब तक प्रिंसिपल का जितना अपमान हो सकता था हो गया था, जितना डर कट्टरपंथी उनके दिल में भर सकते थे, भर दिया था। पुलिस उन्हें भी राहुल के साथ थाने ले गयी, जहाँ पर उन्हें छोड़ दिया गया, राहुल को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया है।

इस घटना को लेकर वहां के उदार मुस्लिमों के बीच तीखी प्रतिक्रिया हुई थी। कई लोगों ने इस बात को लेकर पुलिस की निंदा की कि जब पुलिस के सामने प्रिंसिपल का अपमान हो रहा था, तो पुलिस ने कुछ किया क्यों नहीं? 27 जून को इस सम्बन्ध में रैली का आयोजन किये जाने की भी योजना थी। रैली के आयोजकों में से एक रोबिन अहसान ने कहा था कि शिक्षक का कोई भी समबन्ध इस घटना से नहीं था, फिर उन्हें क्यों प्रताड़ित किया गया?”

ऐसी ही कई और भी आवाजें उठी हैं। परन्तु उस दिन के बाद से प्रिंसिपल साहब का पता नहीं चला था। वह कहीं चले गए हैं।

कहीं यह उन्हें हटाने का षड्यंत्र तो नहीं था?

यह भी चर्चा हो रही है कि कहीं न कहीं यह प्रिंसिपल साहब को हटाने का भी एक षड्यंत्र हो सकता है।

अशराफुल इस्लाम द्वारा शिक्षक उत्पल कुमार की बैट से पीट पीट कर हत्या

एक और दिल दहला देने वाली घटना बांग्लादेश में तब हुई जब ढाका में हाजी यूनुस अली स्कूल एंड कॉलेज के शिक्षक उत्पल कुमार सरकार की हत्या 19 वर्ष के अशराफुल इस्लाम ने बैट मारकर कर दी थी। इस्लाम उसी विद्यालय में कक्षा १० में पढ़ रहा है।

इस घटना को लेकर अभी स्पष्ट नहीं है कि यह हत्या क्यों की गयी! परन्तु यह अत्यंत दुखद है कि एक ओर जहां पर भारत में भी हिन्दुओं के गले रेते जाने की घटनाएं बढ़ रही हैं तो वहीं, मुस्लिम पड़ोसी देशों में हत्या के साथ साथ कथित ब्लेसफेमी का प्रयोग नौकरी से हटाने तक के लिए प्रयोग किया जा रहा है जैसा कथित रूप से स्वप्न बिस्वास के मामले में दिखाई दिया।

इससे पहले हमने देखा था कि जब नुपुर शर्मा का मामला आरम्भ हुआ था, उस समय पश्चिम बंगाल में नुपुर नामक एक युवती का क्षत विक्षत शव पाया गया था।

फिर भी देखा यह गया है कि अचानक से ही बांग्लादेश में हिन्दू शिक्षकों पर हमले बढ़ गए हैं, उन्हें कथित ब्लेसफेमी के आरोप में फंसाया जाने लगा है। और चूंकि ब्लेसफेमी अर्थात मजहब का मामला होता है तो उसके सम्बन्ध में कोई खुलकर सामने भी नहीं आता है और इसी का लाभ एक बार फिर से कट्टरपंथी उठाते हैं, और हिन्दू शिक्षकों पर पूरे देश में सुनियोजित तरीके से हमले बढ़ रहे हैं, षड्यंत्र हो रहे हैं!

DMK continues arrests of critics on flimsy grounds

The DMK government has arrested Tamil Nadu BJP executive committee member Sowdha Mani for sharing some posts on social media. The Madras High Court had refused to grant bail for sharing a post critical of a judgment.

A few months ago the 50 year old ex-news reader had shared the video of a man criticizing the DMK government for selectively demolishing Hindu temples in the name of removing encroachments. The man had posted information about a church encroachment and questioned why the government didn’t remove it while demolishing temples citing a court order.

He allegedly criticized a judgment as well. Sowdhamani had merely shared the video and quoted, “Courage? For Vidiyal?”. Vidiyal is a word used to denote promises made by DMK as the party used it as a tagline during the election campaign to promise that there will be better times once they come to power. Vidiyal literally means sunrise. Sowdhamani didn’t use any words that directly targeted the DMK government or the judiciary.

DMK IT wing had tagged the tweet as communal and filed a complaint in Kodungaiyur police station and later taken over by the cyber crime wing of the Central Crime Branch. She has been booked under Sections 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riots), 153(1)(b) (circulating rumors to cause alarm among people or to disturb public tranquility) and 505(2) (circulating statements promoting enmity, hatred or ill will between classes) of the Indian Penal Code.

In February she had applied for anticipatory bail but the court had dismissed her petition. At the time the court observed that the “petitioner has criticized the judgment rendered by an appropriate forum and if these types of messages are forwarded, people would definitely lose faith in the judiciary” and said that her tweet was against both the government and judiciary. Justice R. Pongiappan who denied bail was worried that she “may try to tamper with the witness and hamper the investigation”.

Curiously no action has been taken on the man who made the video. It is another matter that whether it is Sowdhamani or the man, everyone should have the right to free speech. Feminists at The News Minute who are usually vociferous about women’s rights have reported Sowdhamani’s arrest in an almost congratulatory tone. Dravidianists are most abusive towards the judiciary than anyone else. The moment a judgment goes against them, they start abusing the concerned judge based on his caste and the whole judicial system itself at times.

When the judgment on NEET wasn’t favorable to them, they mocked the Supreme Court as one being controlled by its tuft implying that it’s an institution controlled by Brahmins. Not only the second rung leaders, but even CM MK Stalin had also lied about the farm laws and Covid-19 vaccine before he assumed office. While talking about the now-repealed farm laws in a public meeting, he said “farmers will not be allowed to carry out farming in their fields”.

In another instance, he cast aspersions on the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccine. He said, “There is news of a vaccine..(being invented) but it’s not clear how effective it is or whether it’s 100% successful..VIPs like the PM or CM haven’t taken it. Only a few doctors and some others took it. Because it is like a test only”. DMK’s whole campaign for the assembly elections in 2021 was based on lies and which can be read here.

DMK luminaries’ anti-Hindu hate speeches are also well known but they were never taken to task for them. All these are fit to be booked under the same sections Sowdhamani has been booked for. Yet BJP lacks the killer instinct while DMK is ruthless in suppressing even a little criticism. Sowdhamani receives vulgar abuse every day from the same Dravidianist handles. But DMK luminaries on Twitter who promised to ‘clean up’ the space and make it safe for women are attacking Sowdhamani instead of the abusers.

Gayathri Raghuram, president of the Art and Culture wing of BJP had tweeted in support of Sowdhamani saying DMK is choosing a soft target. To this, a DMK MP said, “Then give us a hard target yourself. We will ‘put them inside’ for your pleasure”. The same MP had threatened to put YouTuber Maridhas behind bars even before DMK came to power and followed up his words later. Dravidianists abused justice GR Swaminathan who quashed the FIR against Maridhas as he saw no merit in the charges. He was called a ‘Sanghi Dog’ and other names owing to his Brahmin identity. Maridhas was again booked for his video about Tablighi Jamaat which was also quashed by the court.

YouTubers Kishore K Swamy and Karthik Gopinath were arrested in a similar manner on frivolous charges to suppress criticism. Kishore K Swamy was arrested for tweeting an excerpt from Dravidian poet Bharathidasan. The poet had written that CN Annadurai took his niece to a wealthy man’s house to earn money. Kishore had merely shared this but he was arrested for “committing offense against the State and public tranquility” and “provocation with intent to cause riot”.

Karthik Gopinath, a nationalist YouTuber was arrested on trumped-up charges of money laundering after he collected funds to restore a vandalized temple. Later he was granted bail as police couldn’t provide any evidence to substantiate their claim and an interim order was passed to not file the chargesheet. Police haven’t submitted any evidence that Karthik used the funds for his personal benefits even after two adjournments. He has been exposing the DMK government’s mismanagement and fascist activities.

Seethaiyin Maindhan, another YouTuber was arrested for exposing Periyar aka EV Ramasamy’s real face. A pattern of trying to suppress critical voices through intimidation can be seen here. DMK seems to believe that incarceration will discourage such voices from continuing so that a rosy picture of DMK rule can be painted through the DMK pliant media.

Hindu resistance: Bandh in Bengaluru today as locals resist playground being usurped by Waqf Board

Security has been beefed up in Bengaluru in the backdrop of Hindu activists and Federation of Chamarajpet Citizens observing bandh on Tuesday demanding retaining of the Idgah Maidan as a playground and not to accede the land to the Waqf Board.

There is a tense situation in the surrounding areas of Idgah Maidan. The traders in the locality have extended their support to the bandh and posted handbills regarding it in front of their shops and commercial establishments.

A holiday has been declared in schools and colleges in the locality. The police department has 4 ACP’s, 12 Police Inspectors, 30 PSI, 60 ASI’s, 350 police constables and 4 platoons of Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) and 3 platoons of City Armed Reserve (CAR).

About 50 organisations, including Hindu Jana Jagriti Samithi, Vishwa Sanatana Parishat, Sri Rama Sena, Bajrang Dal, Hindu Jagaran Samithi have extended their support to the bandh.

Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has stated that he had given directions to maintain the law and order situation in the region during the bandh. Additional police security would be given during the bandh, he added.

The Hindu organisations have carried out door to door campaigns in Chamarajpet to create awareness among the people for the need to retain the Idgah Maidan as a playground.

They have also slammed the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) for its dual stand over the property. Initially, BBMP claimed that Idgah Maidan is its property; later the civic agency denied it. Hindu organisations have slammed the BBMP and urged the BJP government to intervene and resolve the matter.

The activists have also stated that as per the Supreme Court order, Muslims should be allowed to conduct prayers on two occasions in a year and rest of the days the ground should be used as the playground.

The Hindu activists and local organisations are also taking a massive bike rally Monday from Sirsi Circle to Idgah Maidan.

Chamarajpet locality is home to sizable number of Muslims and is considered as one of the sensitive regions in Bengaluru. Congress MLA Zameer Ahmad Khan represents the constituency. Hindu activists have warned him that he is not MLA for one religion and asked him not to provoke Hindus. They have also maintained that he will have to face consequences if he continues backdoor games regarding Idgah Maidan. MLA Zameer Ahmad had committed himself to retain the Idgah Maidan as a playground.

With the BBMP elections around the corner and the state entering the election year, the authorities are concerned about the development.

Meanwhile, the Hindu organisations have sought permission from BBMP to erect temporary stalls to sell Lord Ganesh’s idols in the disputed Idgah Maidan. The civic agency had denied permission to hold the International Yoga Day earlier in the Maidan.

The Waqf Board has clarified that it would hoist the Tricolour during Independence Day. However, the Hindu activists are demanding permission to celebrate Hindu festivals there as well.
