More Draconian Government Control Over Private Hindu-run CBSE Schools

1
CBSE draconian PET order for schools

In a shocking move, the Government run CBSE board has decided to take away the right of private unaided schools to select their own principals. Current and aspiring Principals will have to fulfill certain minimum qualifications and clear a PET (Principal Eligibility Test) conducted by CBSE, and the principal selection committee set up by private schools will consist of 5 members – with nomination of 3 members controlled  by CBSE/State Government, giving them an effective 3:2 veto over the principal appointment!

As per this report

“Private unaided schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will no longer be able to appoint principals or heads on their own as the board has empowered itself to monitor such appointments in schools that fall under its ambit. Also, teachers aspiring to be principals will now have to qualify a Principal Eligibility Test (PET) conducted by the board, a circular issued on Thursday said.

According to a CBSE circular issued to all state education directorates, school principals and other stakeholders, it will now be mandatory for schools to include a CBSE nominee and a state government nominee in their selection committees for principals. Further, these committees will have to comprise five or more members instead of the four that were required till now, the new addition being that of the state government nominee. What makes this change significant is that the member with experience in school administration, hitherto nominated by schools’ managing committees, will now be nominated by the chairperson of the CBSE.

This means that out of the five members on the panel, two will be appointed directly by, or with the approval of, the CBSE.”

Here is the circular issued by CBSE which talks about the PET, and here is the circular which talks about the change in school’s selection committee.

Extract from CBSE circular regarding selection committee for Principal recruitment in private unaided schools

Note: The earlier selection committee consisted of 4 members, all nominated by the School Management Committee, and the new guidelines make it a 5-member committee, with a veto to the 2 members directly nominated by CBSE + State Government (another 1 member has to be nominated by school management in consultation with CBSE). This is nothing short of a takeover of the Principal appointment process in private UNAIDED schools by CBSE.

The last thing private unaided schools, which are already reeling from the ill-effects of the draconian RTE Act, needed was more Government interference in their functioning. The simple question to be asked here is – who is providing better quality education in Bharat today – is it sarkari schools or the private ones? Barring a few state-run schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas etc, it is private schools that parents prefer. But instead of focusing on improving the standard of malfunctioning Government schools, a statutory body like CBSE working under the aegis of the Ministry of HRD wants to now meddle in private school appointments?

This is akin to the Ministry of Finance saying that they will have a major say in the appointment of MD/CEO to private banks like HDFC, ICICI or Ministry of Telecommunications interfering in CEO appointments of a Reliance Jio etc.

If a private school appoints an unqualified person as principal and performance of the school drops, parents whose wards study in that school are free to pull their children out. Doesn’t the Government have enough on its plate already? Does MoHRD minister Prakash Javdekar think this is the ‘minimum Government, maximum Governance’ agenda that PM Modi promised?

Is this how the Government cultivates trust with society, Mr. Javadekar? With retrograde steps like these, CBSE is pushing Bharat further back in the field of education.

Aren’t ALL private unaided schools are impacted?

You might be wondering why our article heading says that private unaided Hindu-run schools are impacted, whereas the CBSE notification just talks about private unaided schools in general. Well, the way this game is played will ensure that minority institutions affiliated to CBSE (even the Government-aided ones) are exempt from these regulations.

As two twitter users  – @mnshzz & @by2kaafi – who are long-time observers of how the education sector and Idea of India (IOI) lobby works, explain –

  • Since minority schools are exempted from TET (Teacher Eligibility Test – a mandatory requirement for RTE-affected Hindu schools), it naturally follows that such schools would be exempt from PET too.
  • Even if CBSE initially claims that the rule applies to all..here is the neat trick by #IOI –  they have built a strong legal regime protecting minority run schools autonomy
    • So what happens is that CBSE will make a general rule saying it’s applicable to all, and in 2 months minority institutions (primarily the Christian missionary school lobby) will take it to court and get exemptions without any fuss
    • That is the approach in every law or rule change, be it RTE, fee, teacher appointments, TET etc etc.

Who is behind this?

Take a look at the Members of the CBSE Affiliation Committee which made the PET recommendation –

http://www.cbse.nic.in/pr_rti/Members%20of%20Affiliation%20Committee.pdf

And the members of the CBSE Governing Body which ratified the PET recommendation

http://cbse.nic.in/admin/GB_Member_Latest_List_2015.pdf

Mostly IAS babus, or people leading some of the top educational regulatory bodies like All India Council for Technical Education, Medical Council of India etc. Almost all of them Hindus – and actively working against Hindu interests by obstructing private Hindu enterprise in education, the most vital sector for nation-building.

Why are they hellbent on imposing a license-permit raj on schools? Why can’t our education sector be liberated the way we have done to our economy since 1991?

Why are these obsolete pen-pushers playing with the future of our children? If anything, this shows how cancerous the IAS-babu class has become to Bharat – we need an urgent infusion of domain experts in all fields…we need ministers who can shake things up in their respective departments, a la Nitin Gadkari.

Was HRD Minister Javdekar aware of such a flawed decision? Or are the HRD and CBSE mandarin running circles around him? Was this the reason that there was such a major hue and cry for the 2 years that Smriti Irani was Minister of HRD – because she did not allow vested interests & Nehruvian loyalists in bureaucracy to do as they please? Despite not possessing a fancy degree, she was not afraid to lock horns with the entrenched babus and technocrats or cut through their bureaucratese when needed!

We know that left-liberals openly cheered when Smriti Irani was shifted to the Textiles Ministry, and hoped that new HRD minister would be more ‘accommodative‘ – seems they have their wish now.  Mr. Javdekar has tried his best to appease the cabal of left-liberal academics and ‘intellectuals’ who were up in arms at Smriti Irani’s spirited and givse-as-good-as-she-gets attitude. Even the NEP (New Education Policy) which was drafted during Irani’s term and was taking some baby-steps towards indigenizing curriculum, has now been trashed under Javadekar it seems.

And this was the ultimate act of appeasement to the CONgress ecosystem

Sonia Gandhi’s Congress with just 145 Lok Sabha seats in UPA-1 introduced the 93rd Constitutional Amendment which laid the ground work for the anti-Hindu RTE Act, and Mr. Javdekar who is part of a ruling party with 282 seats has meekly surrendered the Government’s mandate to repeal flawed and sectarian laws like the 93rd amendment!

Conclusion

Left-liberals know that education is the key sector which controls the nation’s destiny. As long as elementary and higher education is in their grasp, they will keep feeding their secular-Marxist-Abrahamic propaganda to children in pursuit of their end goal of creating a post-Hindu Bharat. And what better way than to wreck Hindu-run schools and educational institutions, leaving the field wide open for the evangelicals.

Battle of Colachel: A Forgotten Hindu victory

5
Colachel
Eustachius De Lannoy's surrender at the Battle of Colachel

Travancore, a small Kingdom in the southern tip of Bharatvarsha has the pride of standing up for Dharma against various invasions. It is the first Kingdom of Asia to have defeated a colonial European force. The kingdom though had the history of defeating invaders like Mughals in the 17th century, was under the cloud of many political murders till Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma became the ruler and converted the then Venad Kingdom to the modern day Travancore Kingdom by defeating many local chieftains. Let us see about this forgotten King’s battle with the Dutch in Colachel which ended their colonization in Bharat.

Marthanda Varma was born in 1705 to Queen Karthika Thirunal and Raghava Varma of Kilimanur royal house. Clever and pragmatic, Varma prompted his uncle Maharaja Veera Rama Varma to sign a treaty with the Madurai Nayaks in order to check the nobles and other rebellious chieftains. After being pleased by this move of Marthanda Varma, which displayed his maturity and administrative talent, Rama Varma crowned him as the “Prince of Neyyattinkara”.

After this, many assassination bids were made on his life which made him flee the capital and live in hiding. On one such day during this period, he is said to have been protected by a small boy from the assassinators, who also showed him a safe place to stay for the night at Neyyattinkara, which was later revealed by Devaprashna as none other than Lord Krishna himself which made him erect a temple for Sri Krishna at that place during his tenure.

After his ascent to the throne of Travancore in 1729, at the age of 23, he went on to organize a standing army, crushing the powers of the Nair gentry who planned his assassination to retain power and planned to annex adjacent principalities. Within a short period of time, he had annexed Kollam, Kayamkulam and Kottarakara with his Kingdom giving birth to the modern day Travancore Kingdom which existed till independence in 1947.

During such battles with local chieftains, the Dutch who were supporting the Raja of Kayamkulam threatened the Raja of Travancore by asking him to restore the Kingdom of Kayamkulam or face a Dutch invasion. Marthanda Varma replied stoutly that the Dutch had no rights to intervene in the local affairs, and that in such a situation he would overcome any invading Dutch forces and attack Holland with the help of fishermen. This subsequently led to the Travancore – Dutch war.

In 1741, the Dutch installed a princess of the Elayadathu Swarupam principality as the ruler of Kottarakara in defiance of the demands of Marthanda Varma. The Travancore army inflicted a crushing defeat upon the combined Kottarakara-Dutch armies and assimilated Kottarakara into Travancore, forcing the Dutch to retreat to Cochin. Following this, Marthanda Varma captured all of the Dutch forts in the area.

Following the losses that the Dutch and their allies had suffered in the war, a force of Dutch artilleries from Ceylon under the leadership of Captain Eustachius De Lannoy landed with artillery in Colachel (Kulachal), then a small but important coastal town, to capture the capital of Travancore, Padmanabhapuram. They captured the territory up to Padmanabhapuram and laid siege to the Kalkulam fort. But the Dutch had to be in a defensive position because of the local fishermen who joined the fight against the foreigners. Marthanda Varma promptly marched south with his army and his timely arrival prevented the capture of Kalkulam fort by the Dutch, who, in turn, were forced to retreat to defensive positions in Kulachal.

On the 10th of August, 1741 both the armies met in battle and Marthanda Varma’s army won a decisive victory over the Dutch, capturing a large number of Dutch soldiers; apart from the rank and file, 24 officers including commander Eustachius De Lannoy and his second in command, Donadi were taken prisoners. Later, commander De Lannoy played a role in modernizing Travancore army and served for decades. The 9th and the 16th battalions of the Madras Regiment were formed by incorporating the erstwhile State Forces of Travancore, the Nair Pattalam units which fought the Dutch in 1741.

Colachel
Eustachius De Lannoy’s surrender at the Battle of Colachel

We can see a Victory Column at Colachel erected by the Travancore state to mark this historic triumph with these words engraved on it — “In remembrance of all the brave men of Travancore Army who laid down their lives in defeating the superior Dutch forces during the Battle of Colachel in 1741”. The Battle of Colachel shattered the Dutch dream of the conquest of Kerala. They signed a peace treaty with Travancore and later sold their forts, which helped in keeping Tipu Sultan’s army at bay. The Dutch could never recover from this debacle and they were no more a threat for Bharat.

What the #IndiaWithAleppo Trend Tells Us About Spread of Sunni Extremism in Indian Muslims

2

A battle has been raging in Aleppo, the largest city in war-torn Syria, as part of the ongoing Syrian civil war for over 4 years now. This week that battle entered a decisive phase, with Syrian Government forces at the verge of recapturing Eastern Aleppo, an area till recently held by rebels. There have been reports of a humanitarian crisis as civilians get caught in the crossfire, which triggered a twitter trend #IndiaWithAleppo by Indian Muslims few days back to express solidarity with people of Aleppo.

On the face of it, #IndiaWithAleppo sounds like a commendable case of people commiserating with human suffering elsewhere, but scratch a little deeper and it reveals a lot about the conditioning of the Indian Muslim mind.

What is the Syrian conflict?

The civil war in Syria is being fought between the Syrian Government forces under President Assad (an Alawite, a sect of Shia Islam) who is supported by Russia and Iran, and a group of Sunni extremist ‘rebels’ backed by Saudi, Qatar, Turkey, US  – prominent among these rebels is the Al-Nusra Front, formerly al-Qaida’s Syrian branch. IS (Islamic State) is also fighting against the Syrian Government, but they are in control of other parts of Syria (not Aleppo). Although IS has clashed with Al-Nusra at times, both organizations and their common backers share the same end goal – overthrow of the Syrian regime and establishment of a Sunni Islamist government.

This map explains the current situation on the ground in Syria and Iraq, with respect to the different players and the territory they control –

Lebanese American scholar Nassim Nicholas Taleb, who is no fan of President Assad, explains the Syrian Conflict in one propaganda free chart –

By all accounts, the so-called ‘moderate rebels’ are an extremely vicious group of terrorists who have flouted every civilized norm and are especially barbaric in their treatment of minorities. Assad is no saint, but is clearly a better option than the likes of IS and Al-Nusra.

There is no denying the civilian casualties and suffering as the Syrian forces entered rebel-held Easter Aleppo – a humanitarian corridor has been opened for evacuation of civilians, and there are reports of a new deal per which civilians and fighters will be allowed out of east Aleppo in return for evacuation of people from rebel-besieged towns.

But contrary to the narrative being peddled in Islamist circles and by Western media, the ‘rebels’ are no heroes and allegedly murdered civilians who tried to leave  – use of civilians as a shield is a common tactic by terrorists and was also used by LTTE in the final stages of the Sri Lanka civil war.

Here are some of the #IndiaWithAleppo tweets –

https://twitter.com/sioindia/status/810544763455868929

As bad as the situation in Aleppo might be today, the decade old conflict in Syria and Iraq has seen far worse atrocities against civilians, chiefly at the hands of the dreaded IS (Islamic State) – no one has suffered more than the Yezidis who have been murdered, raped and even minor girls sold into sex slavery. Innocent Muslim civilians in Yemen are dying due to the indiscriminate Saudi bombardment which is nothing short of a war crime.

Did these Indian Muslims, organizations like SIO (Students Islamic Organization) and Lucknow civil society elements expressing solidarity with Syria, criticize the murderous terrorists who are fighting the Assad regime. Before blaming the West, Russia & Israel for all the ills of Muslims in the Middle East, did they ever stop to criticize Saudi Arabia – the fountainhead of Islamic fundamentalism, exporter of radical Islamist ideology and financier of groups like Islamic State?

These are not poor, illiterate Indian Muslims, but educated, tech-savvy Muslims from places as diverse as Hyderabad & Bengaluru who are supporting a pan-Islamist cause like that of ‘freeing’ Syria & Palestine and establishing Islamist states there. They idolize Muslim quasi-dictators like Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan –

This ‘Muslims vs the rest’ thinking has always had deep roots in the psyche of Indian Muslims – we saw it even in the 1920 Khilafat movement when Indian Muslims (led by likes of Ali brothers and Maulana Azad) put pressure on the British government to preserve the authority of the Ottoman Sultan as Caliph of Islam following the breakup of the Ottoman Empire at the end of World War 1. So while Hindus participated in the non-cooperation movement against the colonial British to fight for Swaraj, it was the religious passion and sympathy for the Islamic Caliphate that drew Indian Muslims in.

Weaning Indian Muslims out of the influence of pan-Islamic extremism and dangerous ideologies like Wahabbism & Salafism should be a priority for our society and Government.

We need more Indian Muslims like this Facebook user who is willing to look within and acknowledge the shortcomings of Islamic societies worldwide, rather than always blame the other –

How did we Reach the Stage Where a Name Like ‘Taimur’ Has Become Acceptable?

2
Bollywood couple name child Taimur

From the autobiographical memoir of the invader Timur  –

My object in the invasion of Hindustan is to lead an expedition against the infidels that, according to the law of Muhammad (upon whom and his family be the blessing and peace of God), we pray convert to the true faith the people of that country and purify the land itself from the filth of infidelity and polytheism; and that we may overthrow their temples and idols and become ghazis and mujahids before God

Sack of the City of Delhi

On that day, Thursday, and all the night of Friday, nearly 15,000 Turks were engaged in slaying, plundering, and destroying.  When morning broke on the Friday, all the army, no longer under control, went off to the city and thought of nothing but killing, plundering, and making prisoners. All that day the sack was general.  The following day Saturday, the 17th, all passed in the same and the spoil was so great than each man secured from fifty to a hundred prisoners, men, women and children.  There was no man who took less than twenty.   The other booty was immense in rubies, diamonds, garnets, pearls, and other gems; jewels of gold and silver; ashrafis, tankas of gold and silver of the celebrated ‘Alai coinage; vessels of gold and silver; and brocades and silks of great value.  Gold and silver ornaments of the Hindu women were obtained in such quantities as to exceed all account.  Excepting the quarter of the saiyids, the ‘ulama, and the other Musulmans, the whole city was sacked.

Campaign against Hindus after the Conquest of Delhi

I then reflected that I had come to Hindustan to war against infidels, and my enterprise had been so blessed that wherever I had gone I had been victorious.  I had triumphed over my adversaries, I had put to death some lacs of infidels and idolaters, and I had stained my proselyting sword with the blood of the enemies of the faith.  Now this crowning victory had been won, and I felt that I ought not to indulge in ease, but rather to exert myself in warring against the infidels of Hindustan.  Having made these reflections on the 22nd of Rabiu-l akhir, I again drew my sword to wage a religious war

The above extract is from the Malfuzat-i Timuri, or Tuzak-i Timuri, an autobiographical memoir of Timur (1336-1405 CE), also known as Taimur, Temur, Tamerlane, or Timur-e-Lang (“Timur the Lame”), a brutal Turko-Mongol conqueror who invaded Bharat in 1398 CE. Timur was the great-great-great-grandfather of Babur, the Mughal invader who followed his ancestors’ footsteps in wreaking a path of death and destruction to establish the Mughal empire in Bharat.

The very name Timur or Taimur conjures up the image of a brutal, intolerant destroyer in the minds of Hindus of Bharat who still remember the depredations and tyranny of this blood-thirsty jihadi just 700 years ago.

There are some names that viscerally stir up negative emotions in a civlization and people – like the name Adolf Hitler will forever be reviled by Jews, names like Aurangzeb and Taimur are reviled by Hindus. Even Iraq and Persia are no great fans of Timur as some of his greatest atrocities were carried out there, although Timur did promise to atone for his sins of harming Muslims by waging jihad on kafirs (non-Muslims) of Bharat and China.

https://twitter.com/TrueIndology/status/811286962976026624

So then, why did Saif Ali Khan Pataudi (son of Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore aka Begum Ayesha Sultana) and Kareena Kapoor Khan (daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita Shivdasani) name their just born child as Taimur Ali Khan? Were they unaware of the connotations this name has for the Hindus of Bharat, the country where Saif and Kareena reside and ply their trade in?

Media, as usual, skirted around the issue and cheered the star couple –

The Indian Express article, although it sidesteps the atrocities wreaked by Timur upon Bharat in 1398, does provide an insight into how the name was arrived at by the parents –

“Why are we not surprised on knowing a historic name for the star kid? Well, in a candid conversation with Neha Dhupia on her chat show, ‘No Filter Neha’, Kareena said, “Saif is a historian and would want a traditional old school name.”

So, it appears that the father Saif Ali Khan knows the true import of the name Taimur, over and above the old Turkic language meaning of ‘Iron’. Kareena Kapoor is probably ignorant of history, or just doesn’t care.

Unlike MSM, twitter was forthright in expressing its opinions –

https://twitter.com/barbarindian/status/811192707469234177

But, as expected, there were many Hindus who took the opposite stance of supporting the parents’ decision to name their child Taimur –

Some even went to the extent of praising Taimur as an ‘amazing administrator who saved many wars by creating a demonstration effect’!

taimur

If one looks at the life of Taimur, he was continuously engaged in one battle or the other on his several brutal conquests and plundering expeditions. Even after ravaging Delhi and North Bharat in 1398 CE, he went on to invade Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Syria, Baghdad (again), and was preparing for an invasion of China at the time of his death in 1405 CE. Does this sound like a man who ‘saved many wars’?

Should we justify such genocide by casually labeling Middle Ages as ‘brutal’? Why did North and South America not witness such brutality during the same middle ages? Wasn’t the Middle Age brutality due to Islamic and Christian supremacists hell bent on imposing their world view on others?

Which age is not brutal – did we not see extreme brutality in the 18-20th centuries due to colonialism, World Wars and communism? Are we not seeing mass brutality today in the actions of Islamic terror organizations and wars raging in Africa and Middle East? Should future generations give a free pass to Hitler, Stalin and ISIS just because the period from 1920 – 2020 can be classified as ‘brutal’?

Incidentally, Meeta Sengupta is one of the leading voices in New delhi on education policy and also and advisor to the Government (MHRD) team framing the New Education Policy. Is it any wonder that our children today don’t know our true history and the reality of invaders like Timur?

“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.” – George Orwell

Commentator Ashok Malik, who is considered pro-BJP (and by extension pro-Hindu) by many, came up with this tweet to take a jibe at those criticizing the name Taimur –

But, why exactly should Alexander be a hero for us in Bharat? This is an example of the Eurocentrism (focusing on European culture or history to the exclusion of a wider view of the world; implicitly regarding European culture as pre-eminent) that we are grappling with till today. In pre-Islamic Persian (Zoroastrian) literature, Alexander is referred to by the epithet gujastak, meaning “accursed”, and is accused of destroying temples and burning the sacred texts of Zoroastrianism. So Parsis who know their history would be averse to naming their children Alexander as well.

And let us also remember that Alexander was defeated in Bharat – his forces were so weakened after their battles in our North-West that they just didn’t have the heart to cross the Ganga and take on the Magadh Army. Hence it is natural that the name Alexander does not evoke the same revulsion in the Hindu mind, like Taimur does.

Saif and Kareena are free to name their child anything. This is not about them – it is about the Hindus of Bharat.

How did we Hindus become so full of self-loathing, so ignorant of our own past, so self-negating that we have not even asserted out right to propagate our own history from our viewpoint in the one country which we can call home? Why did we not insist on integrating all communities in this country, especially Muslims and Christians, with a common narrative that acknowledges the atrocities committed against us by Muslim and Christian conquerors and colonists? Have we learnt nothing after a Partition based on a two-nation theory where the chief ideologue of this theory Jinnah said

“The Hindus and Muslims belong to two different religious philosophies, social customs, litterateurs…they belong to two different civilizations which are based mainly on conflicting ideas and conceptions…..Hindus and Mussalmans derive their inspiration from different sources of history. They have different epics, different heroes, and different episodes. Very often the hero of one is a foe of the other and, likewise, their victories and defeats overlap”

What have we done since Independence to counter such thinking in Indian Muslims? Haven’t we, under the guise of secularism, allowed Muslims to further insulate themselves?

Bollywood is a rough barometer of social mores and  beliefs – in 194os, a star like Muhammad Yusuf Khan took the screen name of Dilip Kumar or Mumtaz Jehan Dehlavi became Madhubala; in 1980s/ 1990s, Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh Khan appeared under their own names but their movies were sensitive to Hindu sensibilities; and today we have an Aamir Khan appear in a Hindu-bashing PK, SRK set to star in a Raees which glorifies Abdul Latif – a dreaded criminal, rioter and terrorist, while Salman stars in Bajrangi Bhaijan where Hindu Brahmins are typecast as racist fanatics and Muslims shown as tolerant.

Going by this trend, a bollywood Muslim star naming his child after a brutal Islamic invader Taimur should not come as a surprise.

Solar Energy – The White Elephant

1
Solar Energy

Germany was recently in news for reasons other than the rape of their women by immigrants, due to their investment in solar energy and how it has been a great step forward in energy generation. Apparently, the German plans to invest in solar energy made it possible for the country to sell its electricity at negative rates (yes, you heard it right!!) i.e. for sometime it was supposedly paying its consumers to consume. This news was of course celebrated by the earth hugging hippies around the world on why this was a huge achievement for solar energy and how this is great news. But deeper analysis and logical reasoning would show why this news was perhaps the most important argument against the use of solar energy, at least at the moment and why Indians should not be conned into using this white elephant called the solar energy.

So , why did Germany sell electricity at negative price?

Simple. They had excess power, by basic supply and demand rule of economics. So if there was excess power, where was it coming from? It was coming from the massive renewable (mostly solar, but others too) sources of power Germany invested in. Now the important question is- if they had produced so much energy from renewable sources that they had excess power to give off, why did they not close down the conventional sources of energy and save money? Is that not obvious? Why did not Germany close down its coal plants and save money there? Because there is something called REALITY as coal plants cannot be turned on and off like a stove. The problem with the renewable sources like Solar energy is that it is not reliable. Even on the most sunny day, it will not provide power 24 hours a day. At best it can give power for 12 hours a day, from 6 am to 6 pm (being very very generous). So your average solar power plants can generate energy at noon but not at night (technically one can if one heats molten salt and use it to generate steam at night or store energy in some form, but then it greatly increases the cost of any such power generation).

Unfortunately for Germans, as with most developed and industrializing countries like India, the peak demand for power is between 10 am to 10 pm. But solar energy cannot produce power at night. So to meet the power demand during night time, one will need conventional backups for power generations like coal/nuclear plants and Germany had to run the coal and nuclear plants during this time. As seen with the example above, even though in theory, solar energy is supposed to reduce the use of coal and nuclear energy, in practice it really cannot.

This is why Germany could not close down the coal plants to save money on electricity generation. Since the peak power generation, if unused would harm the power grid, their government sold the electricity for negative prices and “free”. And of course , the earth hippies who have no clue about economics or reality of life claimed this as a huge achievement for solar energy and how consumers benefited from this “free” power. This is a pathetic argument because the power generated by the solar plants was not “free”. The German consumers, had already paid for that power generation in the form of taxes. The only reason the German government could boost solar energy production was thanks to their massive investment incentives and subsidies (both of which came from German consumers ) which the German government could give to the solar plants in the first place. It is essentially just hippies in the German government, not thinking their stupid plan through and investing heavily in a white elephant called solar power, giving back the now unnecessary extra power they produced from the unnecessary solar power plant for “free”, back to the German tax payers. Neither did the solar investment reduce the coal or nuclear power generation, nor did it save any money for the German government.

Germany of course is a very rich country, which like most western countries have spare money they looted (*indirectly in case of Germany)- from the rest of the world lying around which they can waste on these white elephant projects like solar power generation. But can Indians, with so much poor people afford to waste our money on such white elephants? Our primary commitment and responsibility is to our poor people and not the white trash to absolve them of their guilt of spoiling the environment for last few centuries. Unless the whites, who are responsible for the climate change (debatable) and green house gas emissions for the most part, pay us to use these expensive white elephant like solar energy, we should not be wasting our time and money on it. There might come a time when solar energy would actually be cheaper to use than conventional sources and that should be the time we should start using it. Till then, our most important mission is to lift our fellow Indians out of poverty and the fastest way to do it is through conventional sources of energy.

So what is the underlying fundamental problem behind solar energy?

Solar energy CANNOT generate power during night, no matter how hard one prays at the sun or how hard hippies hope otherwise. So, for every 10 GW energy demand of a country per day, it needs to invest in 10 GW solar power plants to meet power demand for day in addition to investing 10 GW of energy in conventional sources. That is, a total of 20 GW investment for meeting a power demand of 10 GW if one uses Solar energy, instead of straight up using coal power or nuclear energy. But of course, coal or nuclear produced electricity cannot be turned off and on as per whims on a daily basis and they need to run side by side as the solar energy, resulting in no net decrease in coal or nuclear generation anyway. Of course, some brainwashed mentally colonized Indians think that this problem can be solved with batteries and storing electricity. Even that is pathetically wrong, ignorant and devoid of reality.

There is no battery technology yet which can match such a demand yet nor is there any sign of it being present in near future and molten salt technology is also very expensive. But even if hypothetically, such batteries were present, that still wont change the fact that solar energy installed should be double the amount for the power need than the demand. Why? Again because solar energy produces power only for 12 hours a day if being generous (even though they are likely to function only  8-10 hours a day) while the country would need power all throughout the day. So for a country with 10 GW energy need, it will have to invest in 20 GW of solar energy instead of 10 GW so that the excess 10 GW can be stored in batteries (assuming the process is 100% efficient) for use at night. If instead only 10 GW of solar energy is installed to meet 10 GW energy demand, then there won’t be any excess energy available for storage in batteries and hence the night demand can’t be met. So even under best possible circumstances, solar energy (20 GW) power generation is only half that of conventional power generation (10 GW).

All in all, solar energy will be massively wasteful for the investment made in it. That’s why Germany is giving electricity for free WHILE at the same time having massive financial crisis in electricity sector. Will Indians learn from the German folly or will they prove the world that they are second to none in stupidity?

Woman Assaulted for Protesting Against Molesters in Samajwadi Heartland, Mainpuri UP

0
Mainpuri assault on Newly Wed

In a gut-wrenching incident from Mainpuri, Western UP, a newly married woman and her husband were assaulted by two goons, when they resisted their bid to molest the woman.

The incident happened when the couple was enquiring about an address, one of the assaulters tried to pull her ‘dupatta’ and also groped her. When she and her husband resisted, the two were beaten with a stick. The lady suffered a head injury and can be seen bleeding & crying in this video –

One of the attackers, who has been identified as Anand Yadav, also hurled abusive language against the lady. The couple registered a complaint with the police and the lady threatened to shoot herself, if the culprits were not nabbed.

Mainpuri district lies in the Agra division of Uttar Pradesh. Since 1996, Mainpuri Lok Sabha seat has been held by the Samjwadi Party (SP), with party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav being 4-times MP from this constituency, which is presently represented in Parliament by 29-year-old Tej Pratap Singh Yadav, the grand nephew of Mulayam and son-in-law of RJD boss Laloo Prasad Yadav.

This episode symbolizes the situation on the ground today in UP – it is a state where law & order has totally collapsed and certain groups of people believe they can get away with anything. SP rode in to power in 2012 on the back of their Yadav-Muslim votebank, and since then the people of UP have suffered a reign of terror unleashed by rogue elements from these two communities who enjoy political patronage.

Back in August, a local SP leader had claimed that ‘UP is for Yadavs & Muslims, other communities will be thrown out like Kashmiri Hindus’. The Kairana exodus shows that this is no hollow threat, and with cases of rape, molestation and sexual harassment being reported from UP (especially Western UP) on a sickeningly regular basis, every individual in UP today who does not enjoy the patronage of the ruling SP party feels that she/he is under siege.

Will anyone in media have the guts to question Mulayam and Akhilesh for this latest sickening crime from their party’s votebase heartland? Or will this too be swept under the carpet like the innumerable rapes, riots and Kairana exodus witnessed under SP rule? After all, for the media, such crimes and suffering is a small price to pay at the altar of secularism.

Cheraman Perumal – A Story Of Lies

2
Cheraman Perumal Kerala Hindus

The Cheraman Juma Masjid at Kodungallur, glorified by the moslems of Kerala as the most ancient mosque of the world barring Mecca is claimed to be the built by the last of the early Chera Kings, Cheraman Perumal, who is considered as the first follower of Islam by the same sect of people.

Recently, this ‘history’ which started making rounds in the late 20th century after the mosque was renovated in 1974, took a new turn when the former president Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam visited this mosque in 2005 and Prime minister Sri. Narendra Modi gifted a gold plated replica of the mosque to the Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in 2016. After these incidents, a Malayalam movie with Mammootty starring as Cheraman was also announced in 2014 though no news about the movie’s commencement came after that. Let us have a detailed analysis over this issue.

The Muslim records claim that the last Cheraman Perumal saw the moon split in the sky from his balcony and consulted about this incident with his astrologers. Later when a group of merchants came to his court, he came to know that Prophet Muhammad was behind this incident and set sail to Mecca after dividing his kingdom and making many of his relatives as the rulers of different parts. He met Muhammad at Mecca and converted to Islam after which he fell ill and died on his way back at Salalah in Oman, where he was buried and now a dargah has been built in the name of Tajuddin.

Interestingly, if we go a few kilometers away from the mosque we find a very ancient and huge Shiva temple with less number of visitors. The area of that temple is known as Thiruvanchikkulam and is the only temple in Kerala to be sung by the Naayanaars and features in the list of 1008 Shiva temples which are worshipped by the Naayanaars. It is from this place that Sundarar Murthi Nayanar reached Kailasa after singing about Shiva residing in this temple by the thirupadigam “Thaanenai munpadaithaan” of Thevaaram and was accompanied by the Cheraman Perumal who is considered to be the last of the Chera Kings to have ruled the entire Chera kingdom before the division.

Various scriptures like that of Sekkizhaar and inscriptions speak about the friendship which existed between Cheraman and Sundarar after their meeting in Thiruvarur. The Cheraman, who is also considered to be one of the 63 Naayanaars, accompanied Sundarar to Pandya Kingdom and worshipped Shiva at many ancient temples. His famous compositions are Ponvannatthandaadi, Thiruvaroor Mummanikkovai and Thirukailaaya Gnaanaulaa. There are several ancient murals in this temple depicting Cheraman going to Kailasa with his friend Sundarar and his army men paying homage to him attaining moksha. It was after this sudden departure of him to Kailasa that the Chera kingdom was split, until the later Cheras belonging to the Kulasekara dynasty united it again a century later.

Several liberals claim that the Chera King who left for Kailasa from Thiruvanchikkulam with Sundarar was Rajasekhara Varma of the Kulasekara dynasty. But this claim seems to completely false as Rajasekhara Varma lived in early 9th century, atleast a century after Sundarar’s period, and the King was succeeded by his son Sthanu Ravi Varma contradicting the fact that the Chera Kingdom was divided after Cheraman’s departure to Kailasa. So this establishes the fact that it was the last King of the early Chera dynasty who accompanied Sundarar.

Coming back to the claim of moslems about the time period, Sundarar lived in 8th century which dates well after Muhammad’s period and the presence of a Chera King in this time contradicts their claim of Tajuddin being the last King of the early Cheras who lived in the time of Muhammad.

The Theyyum song which is claimed by the moslems to be speaking about Cheraman’s journey to Mecca speaks about Samoothiri after the split whereas Samoothiri King’s lineage begin only in 12th century after the destruction of Mahodayapuram, the capital of Cheras by the Cholas. Going by this, if we consider the last king of the Kulasekara dynasty as the one going to Mecca, it dates 600 years after Muhammad’s demise making it impossible for the occurrence of the meeting between Chera and Muhammad.

Thus this shows that a random mosque existing in a quiet place at South Bharat and a forgotten Chera King have been used by the Muslim historians to hide the bloodbath which occurred in the name of spreading islam in Bharatvarsha.

Malayalam Filmmaker Jayan Cherian Insults Hindu Dharma in ‘Ka Bodyscapes’

0
Ka Bodyscapes

US based Malayalam Filmmaker Jayan Cherian chose to insult Hindu deities and Hindu religion in his latest movie ‘Ka Bodyscapes‘. The movie was released in US in 2016, but the Censor Board in Bharat refused to certify the film even under ‘A’ category citing many reasons, one of which was insult of Hindu religion. In the movie, a gay painter is shown painting his object of desire, a kabbadi player named Vishnu, as Hanuman (shown nude), who is flying carrying different books / gay literature over a temple. The painting also shows RSS members flying kites shaped as cows. Here is the image of the painting shown in the movie :

The synopsis of the movie Ka Bodyscapes is quoted here :

In the city of Calicut in the Indian state of Kerala, three young people grapple with entrenched structures of patriarchy – the free-spirited painter Haris, his love interest and friend, the athletic, mild-mannered Vishnu, and a fiery young woman, Sia. The air is filled with protests and challenges to the rising religious and economic right wing. KaBodyscapes cuts out a slice of contemporary Kerala, recreating in fiction the struggles of the young to gain space in the face of Hindu right-wing aggression in particular and community and class oppression in general. Haris, a talented but struggling young painter, is on the verge of being catapulted to fame. As he prepares for his first solo exhibition, he persuades Vishnu, the object of his desire, to join him in the city. Vishnu is fully within the grip of his Hindu right-wing family, which limits his choices; his desire is muted. But he joins Haris and stays with him in his tiny rented apartment as a reluctant yet willing lover and model. It is perhaps no coincidence that he is a kabbadi player – kabbadi being a game in which members of two rival teams must enter and exit each others’ delineated spaces alone, challenging the rival team to capture them. KaBodyscapes opens with Vishnu making precisely such a challenge to a rival team as Haris watches adoringly – and fails to return safe to his own space. It forebodes the tragic denouement of their romance.

Parallel to the doomed lovers’ tale runs the story of Haris’ friend and confidante Sia, a white-collar worker in an export firm. Sia struggles both at home and at work. At home, she battles the misogynist restrictions her conservative Muslim relatives impose on her even as they deny her economic security. At work, she questions the violent and humiliating labor controls, and the dehumanizing surveillance. Like Haris and Vishnu, Sia’s struggle is lonely and uphill, even when her friends rally around her in critical moments. As Haris, Vishnu, and Sia hurtle towards a confrontation with Hindu right-wing forces and predatory capitalism, their struggles cannot be but against the abjection of body and desire in the everyday life of the city. Haris’ deeply cosmopolitan art, which reclaims the body and desire, invokes the Egyptian Ka, the spiritual body-double, thus seizing the body from its degradation and elevating it as the necessary vehicle of Ka. Vishnu, however reluctantly, awakens to his body and slowly learns to answer its desires. Sia protests against the misogynist punishments meted out to menstruating women workers, and in moments of solitude, explores her own body through intense and loving touch. Each of these defiant acts provokes severe punishment and for these young people, it marks entry into adulthood in a challenging world.

The movies mixes up various issues and seems to primarily give the message that Hindu Dharma is the root of all restrictions on humans. The Censor Board in Bharat refused to pass this film even under ‘A certificate’ and reiterated this decision in the court too.  Parts of the CBFC’s whole statement are produced below, this statement is mentioned on the film website :

The mainstream English media has been supportive or neutral about this film through out. Going by these news reports, this filmmaker gives a very lame defense, ‘it isn’t actually the painting of lord Hanuman, it is actually the painting of character Vishnu in the film’. The depiction is however too clear, vulgar and in the face. Knowing fully well that Hanuman ji was a brahmachari (bachelor yogi) in Hindu texts, his nude depiction related to homosexuality will offend any sane Hindu.

The synopsis of the movie can be criticized on many levels, most obvious being the relationship shown between homosexuality and Hindu religion. There really is no relationship. Hindu Dharma doesn’t ask to kill homosexuals unlike Islam. Nor does Hindu Dharma encourages homosexuality. Christianity considers homosexuality as a sin, with Catholic teaching condemning homosexual acts as gravely immoral. Kerala today has a high population of Muslims and Christians – close to 50%. If the director really intended to take up cudgels on behalf of homosexuals, he would be better off taking on the Church and Muslims clergy who are the most vocal defenders of the Victorian-era Section 377 of IPC (Indian Penal Code) which criminalizes homosexuality.

Another very weird aspect of the film is, the name of the Muslim protagonist ‘Sia’. It is interesting to note that the filmmaker Cherian, chose to name the Muslim character fighting misogyny as ‘Sia’. How often does one see Muslim families naming their daughters after Hindu goddesses? May be, this was a clear attempt by the filmmaker to avoid vandalism by Muslim mobs, which would be difficult to avoid if the name would be a common Islamic name!

Coming to the homosexuality theme of the movie, it is only obvious that many in society do not promote abnormal tendencies. Not that homosexuals should be criminally prosecuted, (after all how many are actually jailed), but the claim in the synopsis that ‘Hindu right-wing family of Vishnu has muted his desires’ is too funny and bizarre. To be honest, what desires is the movie talking about? Homosexual desires? Knowing fully well that the world is still far tilted towards straight sexual tendency humans and that a civilization progresses only when a male and a female mate, how can it even be considered normal to have homosexual desires? Is the movie trying to force homosexual tendency into Hindu society?

Then, of course, saving and respecting all forms of life, specially cows as a tradition of Hindu culture is obviously mocked. So is RSS.

Finally, no surprise that Christianity does not find a mention in the synopsis of this movie. Of course, the filmmaker  Jayan Cherian says it has nothing to do with his own religion and he can’t change his parents.

Pakistani Refugee Behind Berlin Truck Attack on Christmas Market?

Berlin Terror Attack

In an apparent terror attack, at least 12 people have died and up to 50 injured after a lorry ploughed into a crowded Christmas market in the German capital of Berlin.

A ‘passenger’, suspected to be the hijacked driver of the truck, was among the dead in the crash at Breitscheidplatz, near the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in central Berlin. Police have arrested the driver of the truck and according to a report in the German newspaper Die Welt, the suspect is a newly-arrived Pakistani refugee. Some other reports say that he is an Afghan.

Witnesses said it was not an accident and the lorry had shown no signs of slowing down. One spoke of the vehicle “going through people” and “pulling everything down” as it tore through tables and wooden stands.

In July this year, a 19-ton lorry ploughed into a crowd in the French city of Nice, killing 86 people. That turned out to be an Islamist terror attack carried out by Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, a 31-year old Tunisian with French residency permit – IS (Islamic State) has claimed responsibility for that attack.

As per breitbart.comIslamic State sympathizers and militants are celebrating the Berlin lorry attack

“The messages, obtained by Breitbart Jerusalem, were posted to a closed chat group that utilizes the encrypted Telegram messaging service. The chat group serves as an internal Twitter of sorts for IS jihadists and sympathizers, and it has been used in the past to issue IS communications.

The messages also celebrated the assassination on Tuesday of Russia’s ambassador to Turkey. That murder, which was caught on video and was perpetuated at a public event in front of witnesses, was reportedly carried out by an off-duty police officer.

The Telegram user who goes by the name of The Army of Osama wrote:

“From the lions of Allah, we send you our hello on your soil which revolted and fought the infidels. Today the infidels are going out shouting and suffering due to the assassination of the Russian pig in Turkey and today there are those who are going out screaming in Germany. They don’t know that this is only a small part of the capacities of the lone mujahedeen and also of the collective worldwide plan to kill all of those infidels who are swimming in the blood of Muslims in Aleppo, Mosul and elsewhere.”

Along with France, Germany seems to a major target for Islamist terror groups. This year has seen several attacks on Germany including shoot outs at shopping malls, stabbings etc. In Europe, almost all major nations – UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain – have been hit by Islamist terror in the last 10 years.

The security agencies in Bharat need to take note of these developments, especially regarding large trucks being used as a weapon for Islamist terror attacks. Jihadis across the world often learn tactics and strategy from each other – the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks by Pakistani ISI & LeT inspired the series of coordinated shootings in Paris in Nov 2015.

When Islamists and jihadis proclaim that they are involved in a worldwide fight against infidels (kafirs), we need to take them seriously. Bharat has been the worst victim of the modern jihad which started around the 1990s in the form of bomb blasts, railway bombings, plane hijackings and crashes, IEDs like pressure cooker bombs, mass shootings, stabbings, suicide bombers and now truck attacks. The threat to Bharat has hugely multiplied since the emergence of Islamic State, as the large number of IS cells busted in Bharat just this year shows.

Again and again we see evidence that Pakistan is the mothership of terror across the world today. The list of Pakistanis or Western citizens of Pakistani origin involved in global terror is long: Times Square, New York bomber – Faisal Shahzad; San Bernardino, California shooting – Syed Rizwan Farook & Tashfeen Malik; 26/11 Mumbai -Tahawwur Rana, Daood Gilani (aka David Headley), Ajmal Kasab and others; London tube bombing -Shahzad Tanweer, Hasib Hussain and Mohammed Sidique Khan.

The list of Pakistanis arrested & convicted before they could carry out terror attacks, is staggeringly long, as this page on the South Asia Terrorism Portal maintained by Shri K.P.S Gill (IPS) shows. Truly, ‘Brand Pakistan’ identifies itself with global terror.

With so much evidence at hand of the total radicalization of the Pakistani State and civilian population, why do some elements in Bharat (the country which has been the worst victim of Pakistan-origin Islamic terror) continue to defend Pakistan and advocate ‘talks’? Such elements need to be asked to explain why they are deliberately hiding the truth from the common people of Bharat – whose agenda are they pushing?

All political parties and sections of society need to support Rajya Sabha MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s bill to declare the Islamic Republic of Pakistan a Terrorist State. This bill speaks of withdrawing economic and trade relations with Pakistan and of creating legal, economic and travel sanctions for its citizens. Unless Bharat takes this step, we have no moral right to ask other countries of the world to act against Pakistan.

Muslim Mob Loots and Burns Hindu TMC Leader’s House, Despite Mamta’s Muslim Appeasement

2
Muslim Mob Loots and Burns

The attacks on Hindus in West Bengal following Eid-e-Milad festival have not spared even a local Hindu TMC leader’s house in Dhulagarh, Howrah. We had reported earlier on the rioting that broke out last week in Howrah and Birbhum districts – now, reports are coming in of disturbance in Burdwan district as well.

As news of this communal violence and total failure of law & order machinery people is spreading on the internet – mainstream media is still trying its best to downplay the gravity of the situation – people are questioning the conspicuous silence of West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee.

A fact finding team of Hindu Samhati has shared a new video with HinduPost which shows the scale of destruction in Dhulagarh, Howrah due to the attack by Islamists. The video also shows the looting and burning of a house belonging to a local TMC leader Ashim Khara, allegedly by local Muslims who used to visit the same house for party meetings.

At 1:00 min in the video, a man can be heard saying, “They used a gas cylinder to set fire to the house…they looted gold and silver rings and other ornaments from my wife and daughter, and set fire to the text books of my son studying in 10th standard.”

At 2:20 min in the video, a woman talks about the destruction to the house of a local TMC leader Ashim Khara, “I know two of the attackers – they are local Muslim boys by the name Badan & Mintu ..they used to come to the house for party (TMC) meetings…after they had looted our gold & ornaments, TV & cycle, we requested them to allow us to douse the flames and save our home..but they refused and even prevented police from entering the area”.

Dhulagarh is around 30 km away from Kolkata – one hour’s drive.

HinduPost spoke to Mr. Prasun Maitra, an activist with human rights group Hindu Samhati which has been fighting for the oppressed Hindus of West Bengal since 2008.

“Attacks on Hindu workers of TMC are not new. For jihadis, all kafirs (non-Muslims) are the same and open to attack when they riot..it does not matter if the Hindu is aligned with TMC, Congress, CPM or BJP. TMC is doing everything to appease the Islamists, yet they will not hesitate to bite the hand which feeds them. Even last year, if you see my Facebook post from June 2015, a TMC leader Shankar Bhuiyan was attacked by a Muslim mob in South 24 Parganas and the TMC flag was burnt – till then Bhuiyan used to sing praises of secularism and Hindu-Muslim brotherhood.

The names of the Muslim youth involved in the present attack on Ashim Khara’s house – Badan and Mintu – is a common ploy adopted by Muslims of taking a fake Hindu name to fool Hindus. For eg. Razak becomes Raju and so on.”

He had some blunt words for Hindus and the BJP as well –

“When one Rohith Vemula committed suicide and an Akhlak died in Dadri, secular-liberals made a huge hue & cry and raised these issues incessantly in Parliament. BJP has 4 MPs from West Bengal, including 2 central ministers – why have they not raised in Parliament the issue of repeated riots in West Bengal? Local Bengali media is not covering these riots, but if the issue is raised in Parliament they will be forced to cover. On a Zee News discussion recently, RSS ideologue Rakesh Sinha wanted to sponsor a ticket for Rahul Gandhi so he could visit West Bengal and experience the situation here first hand, but then why doesn’t Home Minister Rajnath Singh visit WB and take stock of the situation? When a child throws a stone at a Church in Delhi, Rajnath Singh personally follows up with the Delhi Police..why is he not speaking up on the situation in WB?

The urban Bengali Hindu living in Kolkata and elsewhere is blissfully unaware of the ground reality just few kms away from posh areas like Park Street. I don’t know what it will take to wake them up.”
