हिजाब प्रकरण के अँधेरे में खो रही हैं कथित”अल्पसंख्यकों” द्वारा सुनियोजित रूप से की गयी हिन्दू हत्याओं की कहानियाँ

एक बार फिर से छद्म विवाद अपने चरम पर है और दूसरे शाहीन बाग़ की लगभग तैयारी है। और लगभग हर राजनीतिक दल एक बार फिर से भाजपा को घेरने के बहाने मजहबी तुष्टिकरण के उस मुहाने पर आकर खड़ा हो गया है, जहाँ पर वह पूरे विश्व में हास्य का विषय बनता जा रहा है, जहाँ पूरे विश्व में मुस्लिम लड़कियां अपनी शिक्षा के लिए लड़ाई लड़ रही हैं तो वहीं भारत में वह वर्ग जो हिन्दू लड़कियों को उनकी आस्था का पालन करने पर कोसते हैं, वही अब इन लड़कियों के पक्ष में खड़े हैं।

खैर, यह इनकी दोगलीपंती है, जो समय समय पर दिखती रहती है, परन्तु आइये देखते हैं कि कल जिस विषय पर शोर मचना चाहिए था, उस विषय में मीडिया और कथित संवेदनशील लेखक मौन बैठे हैं, उन्हें उन लोगों के प्राणों के जाने की चिंता नहीं है, जो इस्लामी कट्टरपंथ का शिकार हो रहे हैं।

वामपंथियों द्वारा यह झूठा विमर्श बनाया गया कि बहुसंख्यक कट्टरता अधिक प्रभावित करती है। परन्तु बहुसंख्यक की परिभाषा भी इन्हें ज्ञात नहीं है, कथित रूप से अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय ने पहले ही बहुसंख्यक हिन्दुओं को मारकर, और अंग्रेजों को डरा धमका कर इस पवित्र भूमि का विभाजन कर दिया है परन्तु फिर भी वह अल्पसंख्यक है। अल्पसंख्यक की इनकी परिभाषा पर ध्यान दिया जाए तो अंग्रेज भी अल्पसंख्यक ही थे, परन्तु फिर भी उन्होंने भारत का शोषण क्या, फिर अल्पसंख्यक और बहुसंख्यक क्या है?

यहाँ तक कि संविधान में भी अल्पसंख्यक की कोई भी परिभाषा नहीं दी गयी है, संयुक्त राष्ट्र एक परिभाषा तो तय करता है, परन्तु उसके दायरे में मुस्लिम अल्पसंख्यक की परिभाषा से बाहर हैं।, उस परिभाषा के अनुसार जो समुदाय इतना दबा कुचला हो कि उसका राजनीतिक प्रभाव शून्य हो उसे ही अल्पसंख्यक कहा जाएगा

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने अल्पसंख्यकों की परिभाषा दी है कि  ऐसा समुदाय जिसका सामाजिक, आर्थिक तथा राजनीतिक रूप से कोई प्रभाव न हो और जिसकी आबादी नगण्य हो, उसे अल्पसंख्यक कहा जाएगा।

क्या भारत में मुस्लिमों की स्थिति ऐसी है? क्या भारत में उनका राजनीतिक प्रभाव नहीं है? बल्कि उन्हीं का है! आज से कुछ वर्ष पहले तक इफ्तार की दावतें राजनीतिक विमर्श के साथ साथ शक्ति प्रदर्शन का भी हिस्सा हुआ करती थीं। अंग्रेजों के जाने के बाद से ही अल्पसंख्यक तुष्टिकरण का जो नंगा नाच भारत के बहुसंख्यक हिन्दुओं ने देखा है, वह दुनिया के किसी भी देश के बहुसंख्यक ने नहीं देखा होगा।

आज स्थिति यह है कि कर्नाटक में कुछ लड़कियों के एकदम से उभरे हिजाब विवाद के दायरे में इसी कथित अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय द्वारा की जा रही हत्याएं दबाई जा रही हैं। यह कहाँ से अल्पसंख्यक है? जब वह झारखंड में घेरकर एक सत्रह साल के बच्चे की हत्या केवल इसलिए कर देते हैं क्योंकि वह अपने धर्म की आस्था का पर्व मनाने के लिए घर से निकला था।

झारखंड के हजारीबाग में एक सत्रह साल के बच्चे रूपेश पांडे की हत्या असलम और उसके जिहादी गैंग ने कर दी। उसी समय जब मीडिया के कट्टर इस्लामी कुप्रगातिशील पत्रकार हिजाब के पक्ष में दलीलें पेश कर रहे थे, उसी समय जब तालिबान इन कथित “शेरनियों” के पक्ष में दलीलें पेश कर रहा था और प्रगतिशील फेमिनिस्ट तालिबानी समर्थन पाकर इठला रहे थे, उसी समय झारखंड में एक माँ अपने बेटे के लिए न्याय की मांग कर रही थी, जिसे उस तालिबानी कट्टरता ने मार डाला था, जो तालिबानी सोच इन फेमिनिस्ट के समर्थन में आ गयी है!

माँ सरस्वती के विसर्जन में जाना क्या उस अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय को रास नहीं आया, जो मात्र हिजाब पहनाने के लिए पागल हुआ जा रहा है? उस समुदाय की शबाना आजमी आदि के लिए इतना समय है कि वह हिजाब को कथित अल्पसंख्यकों पर अत्याचार बता सकें, परन्तु एक सत्रह साल के बच्चे को पीट पीट कर मारडाला जाता है, यह नहीं दिखाई देता।

उससे पहले कृष्ण भरवाड को गुजरात में जिस प्रकार मारा गया और इस कथित अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय द्वारा बहुसंख्यक समाज पर किए जा रहे अत्याचारों पर बहस शुरू हुई, उसे मीडिया ने और इस कथित अल्पसंख्यक के ठेकेदारों ने दूसरी ओर मोड़ दिया।

इस लिंचिंग की संसद में चर्चा हुई, और झारखण्ड में हो रही मोबलिंचिंग की घटनाओं पर भी बात हुई,

परन्तु ऐसा क्या है, जो हिजाब को एक ऐसे युवक की हत्या पर प्राथमिकता देता है, जो अपने मातापिता का एकमात्र बेटा था, उसके बड़े भाई की तीन साल पहले सर्पदंश से मृत्यु हो गयी थी, और परिवार बहुत निर्धन है, उसे मात्र न्याय चाहिए। परन्तु उसे न्याय कौन देगा?

क्या उसे वह कुबुद्धिजीवी न्याय देंगे, जिनके लिए हिजाब पहनना अधिक जरूरी है और जिनके लिए तालिबान का समर्थन अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है, क्या उसे वह राजनेता न्याय देंगे जो उस कथित अल्पसंख्यक के पक्ष में खड़े हैं, जो अपनी किताब के अनुसार बहुसंख्यक को समाप्त करना अपना मजहबी अधिकार समझता है?

प्रश्न यही है कि क्या हिजाब का अधिकार एक सत्रह साल की निर्जीव देह से भी भारी है? क्या एक सत्रह साल के हिन्दू लड़के की माँ या परिवार के कोई अधिकार नहीं है? क्या उनका यह अधिकार नही है कि वह यह अपेक्षा भी कर सकें कि मीडिया में उनके बेटे की देह से निकलता हुआ खून भी समाचार बनेगा?

क्या वह रूपेश पाण्डेय होने के कारण त्याज्य है? प्रश्न उठता है! फिर भी यह प्रश्न इसलिए बेकार है क्योंकि यदि किसी अन्य जाति का पीड़ित भी कथित अल्पसंख्यक के हाथों हिंसा का शिकार होता है तो भी मीडिया और यह लोग इतने ही शांत रहते हैं!

मुरादाबाद में एक हिन्दू ट्रक चालक की मुस्लिम प्रेमिका के भाइयों ने हत्या कर दी थी

मुरादाबाद में एक मामला सामने आया है, जिसमें एक ट्रक चालक की हत्या केवल इस बात पर कर दी गयी क्योंकि मोनू ने नसीम और वसीम की बहन से प्यार करने की हिमाकत कर दी थी और इसकी तो एक ही सजा है और वह है मौत! नसीम और वसीम ने मोनू को मारडाला। परन्तु चूंकि इसमें मुस्लिम लड़की और हिन्दू लड़का शामिल है, इसलिए यह मामला कथित बुद्धिजीवियों की रडार से बाहर है!

इस विषय में आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार भी किया जा चुका है, परन्तु मीडिया और कथित बुद्धिजीवी वर्ग बात ही नहीं करना चाहता है:

*पार्टनर आपकी politics क्या है? अब यह प्रश्न बार बार उठेगा क्योंकि अब उनका कथित अल्पसंख्यक तुष्टिकरण सीमा पार करते हुए कट्टर इस्लामी और तालिबानी हो गया है! वह जाकर तालिबानियों के साथ खड़ी हो गयी हैं और स्पष्ट रूप से हिन्दुओं की हत्या पर जश्न मना रही हैं, उनकी इस घृणा का विरोध करना अब अनिवार्य हो गया है!

A plea was moved in the Supreme Court on Friday challenging the Karnataka High Court’s interim order directing students not to insist on wearing religious attire till the matter is decided.

The plea filed through advocates Rahamatullah Kothwal and Adeel Ahmed said: “The right to wear hijab falls under right to expression under Article 19 (1)(a), right to privacy and freedom of conscience under Article 25. The same cannot be infringed upon without a valid law”. The college administration has resisted a group of students’ insistence to wear Hijab. The matter has triggered reaction, where others have worn saffron shawls.

The plea filed by Mohamed Arif Jameel and D.J. Halli Federation of Masajids Madaaris and Wakf Institutions contended that the high court through its order has sought to curtail the fundamental right of the Muslim student-women by not allowing them to wear the hijab and pursue their education. “It is, therefore, necessary that an appropriate order be made staying the operation of the impugned order till the disposal of this petition otherwise the purpose of filing of special leave petition may be defeated and the same may be rendered in-fructuous”, said the plea.

Citing the high court order, the plea said the Karnataka government has issued an order denying the entry to the Muslim women wearing Hijab in the educational institutions. “The impugned order creates an unreasonable classification between the non-Muslim female students and the Muslim female students and thereby is in straight violation of the concept of secularism which forms the basic structure of the Indian Constitution”, added the plea.

The plea said the students concerned have to appear in practical examinations scheduled on February 15 and any interference on their access to institutions would impede on their right to education.

A three-judge bench of Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi, Justice Krishna S. Dixit and Justice J.M. Khazi had passed the oral observations and scheduled the hearing on petitions challenging Hijab ban on Monday. The high court said: “We will pass an order. Let the schools-colleges start. But till the matter is resolved, no student should insist on wearing religious dress”.

The Supreme Court on Thursday refrained from giving a specific date for the urgent listing of a plea seeking transfer of petitions from the Karnataka High Court, which is currently examining the permissibility of hijab in schools and colleges.

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal mentioned the matter before a bench headed by Chief Justice N.V. Ramana.

Sibal submitted that this deals with what is happening in Karnataka, and its spreading in the entire country. The Chief Justice told Sibal that the Karnataka High Court is already examining the issue and it should be allowed to decide it. “Why should we jump in at this stage? It does not look nice,” said the top court.

हिजाब या अलगाववादी षडयन्त्र

भारतीय संविधान के अनुसार प्राथमिक शिक्षा सबके लिए अनिवार्य है। किन्तु इस अनिवार्यता के बावजूद दुर्भाग्यवश स्वतंत्रता के 75वें वर्ष में भी देश की कुल जनसंख्या का 36.90 फीसदी हिस्सा आज भी निरक्षर है। मुस्लिमों में तो यह निरक्षरता दर 42.7 फीसदी है। यदि महिलाओं की बात करो तो ये आंकड़े और भी भयावय हैं।  देश की 66 प्रतिशत मुस्लिम महिलाएं आज भी निरक्षर हैं। उच्च शिक्षा में तो इनकी भागीदारी मात्र 3.56 प्रतिशत ही है जो कि अनुसूचित जातियों के अनुपात 4.25 प्रतिशत से भी कम हैं।

क्या कभी सोचा है कि ये सब आखिर क्यों है? स्वतंत्रता प्राप्ति के पश्चात एक तो हमारे राजतन्त्र की शिक्षा के प्रति उदासीनता, दूसरा संसाधनों का अभाव तथा ऊपर से धार्मिक कट्टरता ने मुस्लिम महिलाओं की साक्षरता दर को सबसे नीचे रखा। पहले तो बेटियों को घर से ही नहीं निकलने दिया जाता। दूसरा उन पर बुर्के को लाद दिया जाता है। अकेले घर से बाहर पाँव नहीं, मोबाइल नहीं, शृंगार नहीं, मनोरंजन नहीं, पर-पुरुष से बात नहीं, इत्यादि अनेक फतवे थोप दिए जाते हैं। जिसके कारण पहले तो उनके परिजन ही विद्यालय नहीं भेजते और यदि ऐसा हो भी जाए तो ये बंधन बेटियों के पाँवों को बेड़ियों की तरह जकड़े रहते हैं।

‘बेटी-बचाओ, बेटी पढ़ाओ’ अभियान के अंतर्गत वर्तमान केंद्र सरकार ने अपनी विभिन्न योजनाओं के माध्यम से बेटियों की शिक्षा के लिए विशेष प्रयास प्रारंभ किए। जिनका प्रतिफल बेटियों की सुरक्षित व सहज शिक्षा के रूप में सामने आ रहा है। आज चारों ओर के परीक्षा परिणामों पर नजर डालें तो बेटियाँ सर्वाधिक अंक प्राप्त कर मेरिट में सबसे ऊंचे पायदान पर दृष्टिगोचर हो रही हैं। यह एक सुखद अनुभूति तो है किन्तु अभी जब हम लक्ष्य से कोसों दूर हैं तभी अचानक उन बेटियों की शिक्षा पर अचानक कुछ कट्टरपंथियों का पुन: आक्रमण पीड़ादायी लगता है।

अचानक विरोध क्यों

2022 के प्रथम माह में ही कर्नाटक में उडुप्पी के एक छोटे से स्कूल में प्रारम्भ हुआ अनावश्यक विवाद, जिहादियों या यूं कहें कि कुछ कट्टरपंथियों की हट के चलते कुछ ही दिनों में बागलकोट में पत्थरबाजी तक कैसे ब दल गया जहां के स्थानीय प्रशासन को वहाँ धारा 144 तक लगानी पड़ी। राज्य सरकार को अपने सभी शिक्षण संस्थान तीन दिन के लिए बंद करने पड़े। कुछ अन्य राज्यों में भी प्रदर्शन होने लगे। दिल्ली के शाहीन बाग में भी ‘नारा_ए_तकदीर-अल्लाह_हु_अकबर’ फिर से गूँजा। कुछ मंत्रियों के बयान आए तो वहीं विपक्षी दल इस मामले को संसद तक ले गया। उधर, देश में जिहाद, अलगाववाद व इस्लामिक कट्टरता की फैक्टरी कहलाई जाने वाली संस्था पीएफआई की संलिप्तता भी जग-जाहिर हो गई।     

बच्चों के विवाद में सर्वप्रथम राहुल गांधी कूदे जिसने उसको मुस्लिम व महिला अधिकारों से जोड़ने की कुचेष्टा की। उसके बाद मंगलवार को कर्नाटक के प्रदेश कोंग्रेस अध्यक्ष डी के शिवकुमार ने एक झूठे ट्वीट के द्वारा हिन्दूओं पर आरोप लगाया कि उन्होंने एक कॉलेज में तिरंगे को उतारकर भगवा लहरा दिया जो तिरंगे का अपमान है। जबकि, उसी दिन शिवमोगा के ही पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री बीएम लक्ष्मी प्रसाद ने साफ तौर पर कहा कि पोल पर तिरंगा था ही नहीं। इसमें तिरंगे का अपमान कहाँ से हुआ। वास्तव में तो कॉंग्रेस की चिढ़ भगवा और भगवा-धारियों से है। यह एक बार पुनः स्थापित हो गया। हिजाबियों की तरफ से न्यायालय में कॉन्ग्रेसी ही तो लड़ रहे हैं। वरिष्ठ कॉन्ग्रेसी नेता व राम द्रोही कपिल सिब्बल तो शुक्रवार को इस मामले को लेकर सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ही पहुँच गए जैसे कि वे तीन तलाक व बाबरी के लिए लड़े। इसके अतिरिक्त इस्लामिक जिहादियों व कथित सेकलक्यूलरिस्टों की टूल किट गैंग द्वारा भी पूरे देश में अराजकता का वातावरण निर्मित किया जा रहा है।

अब बात करते हैं विद्यालय व उसके नियमों की। तो हम सभी को पता है कि विद्यालय में प्रवेश से पूर्व एक फॉर्म भरवाया जाता है कि मैं विद्यालय के सभी नियमों का पूरी निष्ठा से पालन करूंगा तथा उसके उल्लंघन पर दंड का भागी बनूँगा। इन नियमों में विद्यालय के निर्धारित गणवेश (यूनिफॉर्म) की बात भी होती है। साथ ही संभवतया हम सभी ने कभी-ना-कभी (चाहे भूलवश ही सही) गणवेश के किसी अंग की न्यूनता के लिए दंड भी भुगता होगा। किन्तु कभी किसी विद्यार्थी को हिजाब, बुर्का या गोल टोपी में नहीं देखा होगा। होना भी नहीं चाहिए। विद्यालय समता, समानता व एकरूपता के केंद्र हैं। ना कि जाति, मत-पंथ, भाषा-भूषा या खान-पान के आधार पर अलगाववाद के अड्डे।

उडुपी की ये छात्राएं गत अनेक वर्षों से उसी विद्यालय में बिना किसी शिकायत के शांति से पढ़ रही थीं। फिर जिस विद्यालय में अचानक हिजाब का उदय हुआ वह तो था ही सिर्फ छात्राओं का जहां, लड़कों का प्रवेश ही वर्जित है। तो फिर हिजाबी पर्दा किस से और क्यों? इस पर एक प्रश्न के जवाब में एक विरोध करने वाली मुस्लिम बेटी ने बगलें झाँकते हुए कहा कि एकाध शिक्षक तो पुरुष हैं हीं इसलिए हिजाब जरूरी है। सोचिए! जिस विद्यार्थी की गुरुजनों के प्रति ऐसी दुर्जनों वाली सोच हो तो उसके विद्या अध्ययन का क्या अर्थ? खैर! ये गलती उस बेटी की नहीं अपितु, उसे बहलाने, फुसलाने, भड़काने व उकसाने वाले उस कट्टरपंथी धडे की है जो कभी चाहता ही नहीं था कि मुस्लिम बेटियाँ कभी घर की चार दीवारी पार कर अपना जीवन स्वच्छंदता से जी सकें। वे तो उन्हें अपने पैरों की जूती, मर्दों की खेती व मनोरंजन का साधन से अतिरिक्त कुछ समझता ही नहीं।   

इस सारे षड्यंत्र के पीछे देश की उस कट्टर इस्लामिक जिहादी संस्था पीएफआई की उपस्थिति भी साफ तौर पर स्पष्ट हो चुकी है जिसके विरुद्ध अलगाववादी व आतंकवादी गतिविधियों के संदर्भ में देश की सर्वोच्च सुरक्षा एजेंसी – एनआईए जांच एजेंसी जांच कर रही है और जो देशभर में इस्लामिक कट्टरता और अराजकता फैलाने में लिप्त है। इसकी छात्र विंग कैंपस फ्रंट ऑफ इंडिया का बयान भी मीडिया में आ चुका। यह संयोग है या षड्यंत्र, ये आप तय करें किन्तु यह तथ्य और सत्य है कि जैसे ही कॉंग्रेस ने कट्टरपंथियों की चाल के समर्थन में ट्वीट करना प्रारम्भ किया पाकिस्तान से भी उसी स्वर में अनेक तालियां बजने लगीं। एक ओर जहां कभी कट्टरपंथियों का विरोध व विद्यार्थियों का समर्थन करने वाली पाकिस्तानी नोबल विजेता मलाला, जिसने हलाला पर भी कभी मुंह नहीं खोला, हिजाब का हिसाब मांगने लगी। इतना ही नहीं, पाकिस्तान के अनेक मंत्री, नेता व वहां की पूर्व प्रधानमन्त्री की बेटी भी इस हिजाब जिहाद की समर्थक बन ट्वीट पर टूट पड़ीं। कॉंग्रेस के ट्वीट पर पाकिस्तान ताली ना बजाए ऐसा कैसे हो सकता था!  

ये कट्टरपंथी हर चीज़ को शरीयत के पैमाने से नापने लग जाते हैं लेकिन हक़ीक़त में शरीयत उनके हलक़ से भी नीचे कभी नहीं उतरा। वैसे भी यह भारत है जो, संविधान से चलता है ना कि शरीयत की नसीहतों से। जिसकी आड़ में मुस्लिम महिलाओं को हलाला, तीन तलाक, बहु-विवाह, बहु बच्चे, बाल-विवाह, हिजाब व बुर्के जैसी अनंत बेड़ियों में जकड़ के रखा जाता है। उन्हें मदरसों में मौलवियों के पास तो जाने की छूट है किन्तु मस्जिदों में नहीं? वे मुस्लिम मर्दों को खुश करने की साधन तो होती हैं किन्तु कभी मुल्ला, मौलवी या काजी नहीं बन सकतीं। 

मोदी सरकार से पूर्व तो पुरुष के बिना महिलाओं को हज तक की अनुमति नहीं थी। पुत्रियों को संपत्ति में अधिकार आज तक नहीं! अपने ही दत्तक पुत्रों से पर्दा कैसा? उन्हें संपत्ति में अधिकार क्यों नहीं? जो लोग इस्लाम को वैज्ञानिक व प्रगतिशील बताते हैं उनके लिए ये बहुत बड़ी चुनौतियां हैं। यदि उनको विरोध ही करना था तो इन बुराईयों व अत्याचारों के विरुद्ध बिगुल फूँकतीं। किन्तु शायद यदि किसी ने ऐसा किया तो उसका अंजाम भी लोगों ने देखा है। वैसे जिन लड़कियों ने हिजाब के लिए विद्यालय में जिहाद किया उनके वे फ़ोटो व वीडियो भी आजकल सोशल मीडिया में खूब वायरल हैं जिनमें वे स्वयं फटी जींस टी-शर्ट में बिना किसी स्कार्फ, हिजाब या बुर्के के सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर मस्ती करते हुए नजर आ रही हैं किन्तु विद्यालयों में..। क्या विद्यालय में घुसते ही उनका इस्लाम खतरे में या जाता है!     

खैर! अब सीबीएसई ने अपनी फाइनल परीक्षाओं की तिथि घोषित कर दी है। आगामी 26 अप्रेल से वे परीक्षाएं देश भर में होने वाली हैं। अब विद्यार्थियों को स्वयं को राजनीति या कट्टरपंथियों का मुहरा बनने की बजाय अपनी पढ़ाई पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए। गणवेश तो पहनना ही पड़ेगा इसी में सब की भलाई भी है। हम 21वीं सदी के नागरिक हैं जो अपनी आजादी की 75वीं वर्षगांठ मना रहे हैं। हमें किसी टूलकिट गैंग का हिस्सा नहीं अपितु अच्छे अंकों के साथ उत्तम परीक्षा परिणाम प्राप्त करने पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना है। संघर्ष हो तो पढ़ाई के लिए व नंबरों के लिए।     

वास्तविकता तो यह है कि इस्लामिक कट्टरपंथियों को देश में एकता या एकरूपता पच नहीं रही। वे बारंबार अपनी अलग पहचान चाहते हैं। वे चाहते हैं कि मुस्लिम बेटियाँ अशिक्षित रह कर उनके उत्पीड़न की शिकार बनी रहें। उनका एक ही एजेंडा है जो विभाजन के समय जिन्ना की मुस्लिम लीग ने दिया था। ‘लड़ के लिया है पाकिस्तान, हंस के लेंगे हिंदुस्तान’। आज हिजाब, कल बुरखा, परसों नमाज, फिर मस्जिद, मदरसा, हलाल और फिर…। विभाजनकारियों के ये षड्यन्त्र अब सफल नहीं होने वाले। ये अफगानिस्तान नहीं जहां बेटियों को शिक्षा से वंचित किया जाए। हम एक-एक बेटी को शिक्षित व जागरूक नागरिक बनाएंगे चाहे वे किसी भी मत-पंथ, संप्रदाय, भाषा-भूषा या क्षेत्र की हो।

A Popular Front of India (PFI) leader Mohammed Sharief alias Sharief (46) was arrested by Mangaluru police for his involvement in a sex racket using underage girl students.  Sharief runs a real estate business and is from Udyawar near Manjeshwaram in Kerala near the Karnataka border. Others arrested for their involvement in this trafficking of minors include Rahmath (48) who is a housewife, Mehandi designer Sana alias Asma, a mutton stall owner named Umar Kunhi (43), and a fish stall owner Mohammed Haneef (46).   

Earlier this month, police had rescued two students from an apartment in South Mangaluru and arrested Shameena the brothel-keeper, her husband and pimp Abu Bakr Siddique, and a ‘madam’ named Aisha. These Islamists were allegedly running an organized prostitution racket.

This prostitution ring was uncovered after a 17-year-old victim managed to escape their clutches and approached her college authorities. Mangaluru commissioner of police N Shashi Kumar told reporters on Thursday that the student informed her college lecturer that she was being forced into prostitution and was undergoing trauma and harassment. The college principal intimated the child welfare committee (CWC) and the local police. After counseling, she narrated their ordeal which led the police to raid the rented accommodation in Attavar.

The police commissioner coordinated with DCP (law and order) Hariram Shankar, women police personnel, child welfare committee officials, the principal of the PU college, women and child development officers, and the local childline officials and launched a joint operation following which the racket was busted. The commissioner said that the accused were operating the racket from a penthouse located on the 5th floor of an apartment building in Nandigudda. 

Two pre-university minor students and 2 ladies above 18 were rescued from the brothel. A Kerala-based lady was supplying Shameena with clients who preyed on minors but it is not known if that woman is recently arrested Rahmath. The accused have been operating from the same premises for the past two years. 

Their clientele was mostly from Malabar and some arrived from other parts of Kerala. CCTVs (both open and concealed) all over the premises have made the police suspect that the accused could have honey-trapped some of their wealthy clients. Local police are verifying the call records, WhatsApp chats, and others details of the accused.

Meanwhile, the victims confirmed that they were blackmailed to stay in the racket, using videos that were secretly recorded. The accused were charged with sections under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.

Among the newly arrested persons, Sandeep (33), a building contractor, and Cyprian Andrade alias Praveen D’Souza (40) who is also a building contractor had sexually assaulted the minors. Sharief too raped the minors and they were engaged in arranging clients and introducing the victim to them. Mutton/fish sellers know the rich clients in the area and Mehendi workers are in contact with students and minors. 

As the investigation threw up more details, police registered five separate FIRs of which four are under the Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences Act (POCSO). Officials from women and child development, the child protection unit and the child welfare committee are counseling the distressed victims. 

Police are on the lookout for more such brothels and are trying to find out whether more students are victims of such vicious gangs. The original victim is still in shock and is yet to submit a formal complaint. Police said that more arrests will follow, once she files her complaint.

Senior police officers from neighboring districts are collecting data about prostitution using minors from those areas and sharing the information with their Mangaluru colleagues. Following the arrest of the 7, the total number of people picked up in the case has risen to 10. 

The investigation is being handled by Karnataka Central Crime Branch (CCB) inspector Mahesh Prasad who received the union home minister’s special operation medal for his handling of the ISIS terrorist case, a few months ago.

Suppression of social evil leading to lust 

Kerala has no known brothels. Consecutive governments have pandered to radical Islamists and they have made sure that legal prostitution is banned in Kerala, as per sharia laws. This has led to a situation where perverts rape and sodomize both the old and young (the weaker ones) and on some occasions, even murder the victims. 

Multiple court orders have confirmed that consensual sex is not an offense but Islamist moral policing still continues in Kerala. It is when cases like the Mangaluru one hit the limelight that one observes that it is the same moral police who are behind such prostitution rackets too. 

However hard one tries to whitewash things, Keralites from Malabar (north Kerala) head to Manipal and Mangaluru seeking higher education. Unions have damaged our social systems and they seem beyond repair now. Even as education standards dip drastically, it is now impossible to get a certificate from any university in the state, without paying bribes.    

Cities like Mangaluru, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, and Manipal are also areas that the minor/ student sex rackets target. Such places attract both rape jihadis and grooming ones who ultimately sell their victims to brothels. Some vulnerable girls from poor and middle-income families are attracted by the lure of money and wealth but end up earning next to nothing.

Last month, Abdul Qadir Najeeb (34), Iqbal Mohammed (35), Zeenath Mubeen (28), and a beedi worker named Reshma (32) were arrested from Mangaluru after they offered sexual favors and then honey trapped Keralites. Their modus operandi was to meet potential youngsters on social media, befriend them and invite them over to Mangaluru. Once there Najeeb and Mohammed would strip the victims and take photographs with the ladies in compromising positions. They would then blackmail the victims using those images.

11 फरवरी 2013 को पूरा भारत एक ऐसी दुर्घटना के समाचार से दहल गया था, जो प्रशासन के स्तर पर हुई लापरवाही और संवेदनहीनता के कारण हुई थी। प्रयागराज में उन दिनों अर्द्धकुम्भ का आयोजन हो रहा था। मौनी अमावस्या थी और लोग स्नान करने के लिए पहुंचे हुए थे। उस समय अखिलेश यादव की सपा सरकार की और साथ ही उस मेले के प्रशासनिक प्रभारी थे “आजम खान!”

यह भी विचित्र है कि हिन्दू आस्थाओं से अनभिज्ञ लोगों को उस मेले का प्रभारी बना दिया जाता है, जिस मेले का अपना हजारों वर्ष पुराना इतिहास है, जिसकी अपनी वह आस्थाएं और मान्यताएं हैं, जिन पर उस प्रभारी को विश्वास नहीं हो सकता है। उस समय भी इस निर्णय का विरोध हुआ था। परन्तु हिन्दुओं का विरोध कब मायने रखता है। इसलिए अर्धकुम्भ के प्रभारी आजम खान बने रहे थे। और केंद्र में थी हिन्दुओं के प्रति सौतेला व्यवहार रखने वाली यूपीए की सरकार, जिसने साधु संतों को ही आतंकवादी घोषित करने की जैसे नीति बना ली थी। ऐसा लग रहा था जैसे हिन्दू होना इस देश में अपमान और शर्म का विषय बन गया है। उपेक्षा ऐसी कि अर्धकुम्भ की व्यवस्था भी उस व्यक्ति के हाथ में थी, जिसकी आस्था उस धर्म में थी ही नहीं।

10 फरवरी 2013, दिन था मौनी अमावस्या का। उस दिन लाखों लोग कुम्भ में मोक्ष की आस में डुबकी लगाने आए थे। जब प्रशासन को यह ज्ञात था कि श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या में वृद्धि होगी, तो भी तालमेल की कमी क्यों रही? रेलवे की ओर से भी अतिरिक्त ट्रेनों की व्यवस्था नहीं की गयी थी। मौनी अमावस्या वाले दिन वहां पर लाखों लोग आ गए थे।

मौनी अमावस्या के दिन, 10 फरवरी को प्रयागराज स्टेशन पर करीब 20 लाख से ज्यादा लोग आ गए, जबकि प्रयागराज जंक्शन पर 24 घंटों में सिर्फ 250 ट्रेनें ही मौजूद थीं। इतनी भीड़ के आने से पुलिस और प्रशासन की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था चरमरा गई, क्योंकि उनका पूरा ध्यान मेला क्षेत्र में था। भारी भीड़ के कारण वहां अचानक भगदड़ मच गई।

चश्मदीदों के अनुसार, वहां लोगों के बीच यह खबर पहुंची कि प्लेटफार्म नंबर छह की ओर जाने वाली ओवरब्रिज की रेलिंग टूट गई है, जिसके बाद वहां अचानक भगदड़ मच गई। एक प्रत्यक्षदर्शी ने मीडिया को बताया था कि स्टेशन पर एक ट्रेन के आने की घोषणा होते ही अचानक लाखों यात्री प्लेटफार्म की ओर तेजी से जाने लगे। इस कारण से हुए हादसे में 36 लोगों की जान चली गई थी। मरने वालों में 26 महिलाएं, नौ पुरुष और एक बच्चा शामिल था।

इस घटना के बाद हालांकि “आजम खान” ने मेले के प्रभारी पद से इस्तीफे की पेशकश कर दी थी, जिसे अखिलेश यादव ने अस्वीकार कर दिया था। तत्कालीन केंद्र और राज्य सरकार के बीच आरोप प्रत्यारोपों का एक दौर शुरू हो गया था। जहां प्रदेश सरकार का कहना था कि इसमें प्रदेश सरकार की ओर से कोई चूक नहीं हुई है, यह दुर्घटना केवल और केवल केंद्र सरकार के कारण हुई थी।

वहीं तत्कालीन केन्द्रीय रेल मंत्री पवन कुमार बंसल ने कहा था कि ‘‘भारत में 65000 किलोमीटर के मार्ग पर रेलवे की 12,000 रेलगाड़ियां चलती हैं और ये रोजाना 2.3 करोड़ लोगों को ले जाती हैं। ऐसे में किसी एक स्थान पर सभी रेलगाड़ियां एक दिन में नहीं पहुंच सकतीं क्योंकि रेलवे की अपनी सीमाएं हैं।’’

वहीं वर्ष 2019 में जब केंद्र और राज्य में भाजपा की सरकार थी, तो तालमेल तो परस्पर था ही, साथ ही कुम्भ मेले के लिए अतिरिक्त 800 ट्रेन की व्यवस्था की गयी थी!

इस दुर्घटना के कारणों के लिए बनाए गए एकल सदस्यीय आयोग द्वारा बनाई गयी रिपोर्ट को वर्ष 2019 में विधासभा में पटल पर रखा गया था।

बीबीसी के अनुसार रेलवे स्टेशन पर जरूरत से ज्यादा भीड़ आ गयी थी, क्योंकि मेले के क्षेत्र से यह प्रयास रहा कि लोगों को जल्दी से जल्दी मेला क्षेत्र से बाहर निकाला जाए, और रेलवे की ओर से ऐसी कोई व्यवस्था नहीं की गयी थी, जिससे अधिक लोगों को वहां पर आने से रोका जा सके।

और रेलवे और प्रदेश सरकार के बीच तालमेल का स्पष्ट अभाव दिखा था। बीबीसी के अनुसार पुलिस प्रशासन का रवैया भी असंवेदनशील था।  और

मेला के दौरान जिस तरह से स्थानीय पुलिस को लोगों के साथ संयम बरतने और अच्छा व्यवहार करने की ट्रेनिंग दी गई थी वैसी कोई ट्रेनिंग रेलवे पुलिस को नहीं दी गई। जिसके कारण पुलिस ने लोगों को प्यार से डायवर्ट करने की जगह उन्हें भगाना शुरु किया। इससे लोग नाराज़ भी हुए और अफरा तफरी भी मची।

वैसे जिस पार्टी की सरकार में कारसेवकों पर गोलियां चलाई गयी थीं, उस प्रशासन से क्या अपेक्षा की जा सकती थी? हालांकि इस कुम्भ को सफल बताने के लिए और व्यवस्था का अध्ययन करने के लिए कई प्रशंसात्मक मीडिया रिपोर्ट भी लिखी गईं, परन्तु 36 लोगों के खून के धब्बे धुलना इतने आसान नहीं थे, और वह भी तब वह केवल और केवल अपनी धार्मिक आस्था का पालन करने के कारण उस अव्यवस्था का शिकार हुए थे, जो हिन्दुओं के प्रति असंवेदनशील केंद्र और राज्य सरकार के परस्पर सहयोग की कमी से पैदा हुई थी।

तभी मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ और प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी बार बार डबल इंजन की सरकार कहते हैं क्योंकि अब कुम्भ में मौनी अमावस्या पर गुलाब की पंखुरियों से प्रयागराज की भूमि लाल होती है, भक्तों के निर्दोष लहू से नहीं!

Aggressive attacks of TTP and BLA, has Pakistan finally been entrapped by its own Frankenstein monsters?

On August 15, the Bharatiya subcontinent saw another turmoil when the Taliban forcibly captured Afghanistan after several months of fighting. It was Bharat’s Independence Day, and unfortunately, on this very day, Afghanistan once again went into slavery to the Islamic Invaders. This event created shock waves across the world, but there was one country that was very happy, and that was Pakistan.

It must be noted that Pakistan was trying its best to capitalize on the eviction of the US Army from Afghanistan. The Chief of Pakistan’s secret agency (ISI) was in Kabul before the Taliban took over, and it is said that ISI and Pakistani Army helped the Taliban to capture Kabul swiftly.

As soon as the Taliban assumed power, the Pakistani Prime Minister welcomed it and said it was a revolutionary step as if the people of Afghanistan had got freedom after slavery. Imran Khan was elated with this development, and that was reflected in his party leader Neelam Irshad Sheikh’s statement, who said that “The Taliban say they are with us and are ready to help us in Kashmir.”

Since then Pakistan is trying hard to portray as if the Taliban is a group of revolutionaries who have arrived to transform Afghanistan. Pakistan is trying to act as a mediator to facilitate political and financial support to the Taliban government. However, the table has been turned in a couple of months, and now Pakistan has started feeling the heat of its own Frankenstein Monsters, that is Tehreek-Ae-Taliban (TTP) and Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

Taliban is an ambitious terrorist group, that works on a single point agenda, to establish an Islamic state in Afghanistan and the other side of Durand Line (Waziristan and other tribal areas). Afghanistan and the Taliban have never accepted the Durand Line, which separates both nations. The reason behind this is the common ethnicity and religious identity on both sides of the border.

Taliban initiated action to fulfill its long-cherished dream of creating Islamic fiefdom across the Durand Line. They released many dreaded TTP terrorists and started deploying them across the border and they started orchestrating lethal attacks on the Pakistani Army.

Initially, they were removing the border-fencing, but gradually this turned into aggressive altercations between TTP and Pakistani Army. This turned into daily skirmishes and now full-fledged attacks on the Pakistani Army. In the last 6 months, TTP has carried out many attacks on Pakistan Army and more than 50 Pakistani Soldiers have lost their lives.

On February 7, TTP carried out another attack in Kurram which led to the killing of 5 Pakistani Soldiers. Pakistan has been taken aback by this behavior, as it considers the Taliban as its own creation. It was Pakistan that created and nurtured the Taliban and transformed it into a strategic asset to destabilize Afghanistan and Bharat.

Imran government has finally warned the Taliban to remember its promise that it will not allow any terror group to foment violence in Pakistan. However, the Taliban has not responded to this accusation till now, and there is reason to believe it will not address it in the future as well.

Pakistan’s other Achilles Heel is the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which has created havoc in Balochistan province, which is under forceful occupation of Pakistan. BLA was again a creation of Pakistan’s own sins, as it is an outcome of rigorous oppression carried out by the Pakistani Army on local Baloch tribes.

The Pakistan Army has exploited Balochistan tremendously in the last seven decades. The people there have no rights, millions of Baloch people have been killed or have simply disappeared, their leaders have been attacked and killed publicly by the army, due to which the BLA originated.

Balochistan is of great importance to Pakistan strategically and geographically, as the CPEC passes through this region, and the Gwadar Port is also located here. But now the BLA has decided that it will no longer tolerate the atrocities of the Pakistan Army.

Last week BLA conducted the most dreaded Operation Ganjal, where it attacked Panjgur and Nushki military camps of the Pakistani Army’s Frontier Corps. BLA’s Majeed Brigade took the responsibility for this attack, where they claimed to have killed more than 100 Pakistani soldiers and destroyed a large part of both camps.

This is a very critical incident because it has challenged the might of the Pakistani Army. A handful of BLA fighters occupied their two camps for several days, and their elite SSG commandos were unable to do anything. Both the Government and the Army of Pakistan are quite disturbed by the growing strength of the BLA.

Over a couple of years, Balochistan ethnic nationalism has fuelled a separatist war, which triggered an uncontrollable insurgency that is spreading from Balochistan’s tribal mountains to Punjab’s urban areas. In recent months BLA has conducted several attacks on the Pakistan Army, which led to the death of many soldiers and the destruction of their military assets. It has also jeopardized the ambitious CPEC project, as several Chinese engineers and civilians have been attacked by BLA.

All in all, we can say that it is Pakitan’s payback time, and it has finally entrapped in its own evil design. For so many decades, Pakistan had disturbed Bharat, but now it is forced to face the consequences of its misdeeds.

The way these organizations are moving forward, it would not be an exaggeration to say that soon there will be large-scale attacks on the Pakistani army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially Waziristan and Balochistan, strategically important projects will be stalled, which will break the backbone of the Pakistani economy and the army. This will pave the way for Pakistan’s disintegration and Bharat would have the perfect chance to take back POK by taking advantage of the opportunity to allow Pakistan’s disintegration.

Open schools, no religious symbols allowed for now, says K’taka HC – Congress ecosystem lawyers Hegde and Kamat disappointed

The Karnataka High Court, hearing the hijab row, on Thursday ordered that no religious symbols are allowed for the students until its final order, thus ruling out use of both hijab and saffron shawls in school and college premises.

The interim order was given by a three-judge bench of Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi, Justice Krishna S. Dixit, and Justice Khaji Jaibunnesa Mohiyuddin.

“We want to make an interim order on the matter of hijab row. We will hear the matter every day,” the Chief Justice stated. Peace has to return to the state, and schools and colleges must open soon, the bench said, adjourning the matter to Monday.

Earlier, while hearing the arguments, the Chief Justice told Advocate General Prabhuling Navadagi to open schools in the state. “Closure of schools is not a good development. Take necessary action and conduct classes. See to it that no problem surfaces,” he stated.

Amid tensions, the state government on Tuesday announced a three-day holiday for schools and colleges. During the hearing, senior counsel Sanjay Hegde, appearing for a petitioner, submitted that the Karnataka government has no right to frame rules on uniform, as per the 1983 Karnataka Education Act. The rules on uniform could be framed by the the College Development Committee (CDC) and School Development and Management Committee (SDMC), he maintained.

“The girl students can’t be made to sit on roads. Karnataka state contributes highest taxes to the Central government. Most startups come up here and these developments will bring disrepute to the state. Discrimination should not be made on the basis of clothes, colour, and religion,” the counsel argued.

Here, Hegde – a Congress ecosystem Lutyens’ lawyer known for peddling fake news – was repeating similar lies to what Senior advocate of Supreme Court, Devdutt Kamat (a Congress member) who is also representing the pro-Hijab group in court, had uttered the day before.

The burqa/hijab clad girl students weren’t “made to sit” on roads – govt. junior colleges were perfectly fine with admitting them into campus as long as they adhered to the established dress code. In fact one college allowed them to enter the campus and sit in a separate room as part of their protest. But this was spun as some sort of apartheid/segregation similar to what Blacks once faced in USA, by Kamat!

Also, as Hegde himself stated – if the school/college committees are responsible to decide rules on uniform, the protestors must present their case to the said committees if they want change to well-established and long-standing uniforms?

As the Udupi school authorities have clarified, the rules were framed in 2004 after discussion with PTA (Parent Teacher Association) – for all these years, Muslim girl students were dressing similar to their Hindu counterparts and there was peace. Now suddenly, 6 students out of 90 Muslim students turned activist and are jeopardizing the education of all 965 students in the govt. school which caters largely to the poor!

Hegde is also the same lawyer who authored the dangerous, redundant and ill-thought out MASUKA law to combat mob lynching. But there is a whole breed of such Hinduphobic senior SC lawyers who exercise a chokehold over our judiciary, as was revealed by outgoing CJI Ranjan Gogoi. So it was no surprise to see Hegde, a virulent opponent of the CAA law, being appointed as an ‘interlocutor’ by the SC milords to mediate with the anti-CAA Shaheen Bagh protestors. That mediation failed miserably and the deadly anti-Hindu Delhi riots followed within days.

Hegde and Kamat argued for the hijab stating there is ‘no harm’ in students wearing it. Hijab is a ‘fundamental right’ and it does not cause ‘any problem’ to others, they said, arguing that the government has issued circular on uniform “hurriedly”. The other day, Kamat was quoting Islamic hadith “It is not correct for a woman after she starts menstruating to show her hands and face to strangers” to make the case for hijab in schools. Going by this interpretation of essential religious practice, it seems a mandatory full-body burqa with face veil and gloves for school-going Muslim teens is going to be the next demand of the Islamist-liberal lobby!

The Islamists are already headed in that direction – in guise of hijab, we are seeing protests and billboards of burqa-clad women!

“First hijab the kitab (book)” says this billboard put up by Luqman Farooqui, a member of AIMIM students’ wing in Beed, Maharashtra. At the bottom it says “Har keemti cheez, parde mein hoti hai (all precious things remain covered)”

This is the root of the problem with hijab in school campuses, which the Congress ecosystem advocates are brushing under the carpet: hijab is meant to ostensibly protect Muslim girls from the male gaze. This is how it is justified to ordinary Muslims by their ulema and elders –

How can one not see the inherent problem of objectifying women as mere objects, as candy or meat, that cannot be left ‘uncovered’. Is that the kind of message we want to send to our next generation studying in our schools?

Dressing modestly is one thing – the pro-hijab/burqa group taunt with the “let you girls roam naked if you want, we won’t” jibe, as if that is the only alternative to the hijab. How can school-girls clad uniformly in shalwar-kameez or even skirt/pant-shirt be considered ‘lust-inciting’? Is that a problem in the girl’s dressing or the mindset of such men, or the religious doctrine they subscribe to?

It is also pertinent to note that some of the junior colleges where this hijab row is taking place are women only institutions, but the handful of hijab-demanding girls claim hijab ‘protects’ them from male teachers!

A Hindu girl student from Karnataka hit the nail on the head, asking “Aren’t we girls too? We have all the protection we need.” The simple, and politically incorrect, fact of the matter is this: the implicit message a hijab/burqa clad woman is giving is that those not clad in burqa/hijab have loose-morals, are lacking in character, hence legitimate targets for sexual predators.

To inane arguments comparing hijab to Sikh turban, or Hindu bindi/tilak etc, ex-foreign secretary Kanwal Sibal’s tweet says it best “Sikh turban/bindis/tilak/vibhuti has nothing to do with modesty & privacy from unrelated males.”

He also highlighted the hypocrisy of Indian liberals who are cheering Indian Muslims being pushed into ever-more regressive lifestyles by radical outfits like PFI, at a time when Muslim reformers in the Islamic world are opposing those misogynistic practices.

Hegde and Kamat went on to make some more desperate arguments – they argued that as per the Karnataka Education Act, uniform is not compulsory for students and they only be fined Rs 25 for violating the uniform rules. As Chief Justice Awasthi intervened here, asking whether the petitioner is saying uniform is not required, the petitioner submitted that as per act, ‘it is not compulsory’. It is okay for primary school students but uniforms for college students is being objected, he said.

Again, the senior lawyers resorted to half-truths. The colleges in question here are pre-university colleges, or junior colleges for Class XI and XII students – so they are like senior high schools where uniform is mandatory.

Hegde and Kamat asked the court to pass interim orders allowing the Muslim girls to wear hijab and attend the classes, but this was opposed by Navadagi and ultimately the HC also ordered that schools and colleges should reopen but no religious symbols can be worn by student until its final order.

The state of Karnataka has witnessed serious violence over this hijab row instigated by CFI, the student wing of the dangerous terror-accused Islamist outfit PFI. A teacher Manjunath Naik was even attacked with iron rods and his condition remains serious.

Following the High Court’s interim order, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday ordered reopening of schools up to class 10 from Monday which were closed owing to the violence that erupted recently over the hijab row. “I appeal to everyone to work together & see that there is peace in the colleges. Schools will reopen from Monday for classes up to 10th standard. Degree colleges will reopen later,” he said.

A Periyarist government-aided school teacher has been arrested for raping and impregnating a minor girl. An ardent supporter of the Dravidian Movement and DMK, he had preyed on his own niece, following the footsteps of Periyar.

Manickam, a 34 year old English teacher working in a government aided school has been booked and arrested under POCSO for impregnating a minor girl. A married man with 2 kids, has a 17 year old niece. She is the daughter of his brother which in the Tamil relationship system would mean she is like his daughter. 4 months ago when the girl’s parents were out for work, Manickam used the opportunity to prey upon the girl.

The girl had tried to get help by shouting when he tried to rape her. But he threatened her into silence saying he would kill her if she made noise or told anyone about it. He forced her to submit to his sexual desires again and again when she was alone in the house. As a result of this the girl got pregnant. Thinking she is ill, parents took her to hospital and only then did they come to know that Manickam had raped her.

They filed a complaint with Chennimalai police who booked him under POCSO and arrested him. Manickam is an ardent follower of the Dravidian Movement and a supporter of DMK. His Facebook timeline is full of posts in support of DMK and the ideology. He has even met Dravidar Kazhagam leader Suba.Veerapandian.

Periyar aka EV Ramasamy is propped up as a reformist and women’s rights activist. But he actually denigrated women in the name of criticising casteism. He called non-brahmin women as whores. He pointed his own wife to his “playmates” and said that she was the new prostitute in town, inorder to get her to stop visiting temples. At the ripe old age of 70 he married his own adopted daughter Maniyammai. Manickam seems to have taken following in his footsteps very seriously and raped a child who is like a daughter to him. It is frightening to imagine what he could have taught to his students as a teacher.

Truck driver Monu Singh killed by Muslim girlfriend’s brothers: Moradabad, UP

Yet another case of a Hindu man having to pay with his life for loving a Muslim girl emerged from Uttar Pradesh. Last Wednesday, Monu, son of Jagat Singh and resident of Masoompur village, Dilari police station area, Moradabad district was strangled to death with a muffler by his Muslim girlfriend’s brothers. 

Monty, the victim’s brother filed a complaint based on which the police charged the girl’s brothers Wasim, Naseem, Faizab and Yameen. On Friday, police arrested Wasim and Naseem and the two have confessed to murdering Monu.

That fateful morning, Monu left the house to relieve himself. He never returned home and the family started searching. Late into the night, his body was found lying in a wheat field nearby. A postmortem confirmed that he was choked to death. 

Monu is survived by his father Jagat Singh, mother Premvati, brother Monty and three sisters Kamlesh, Kusum and Neetu, and the whole family is devastated. Monty told the police that trouble began after his brother Monu fell in love with a Muslim girl from the same village. When the girl’s brothers came to know about the relationship, they even threatened to eliminate Monu.

During interrogation, the accused told police that they killed Monu since they were angered over his relation with their sister. They claimed he was trying to ‘defame the family’ by sharing objectionable pictures of the girl. Based on the inputs of the two accused, police has recovered Monu’s shoes and mobile phone. Both brothers were produced in court and remanded to judicial custody.

On Friday, police had called a few people for questioning whom they later released. Villagers suspect their involvement in the murder, and protested police letting them go. Monu’s cousin brother Chatrapal said that the girl’s father Yaseen and her brother Faizan were also present in the village on the day of the murder but theirs names were deliberately removed from the case by police. He alleged that Yaseen owed Monu Rs. 1.45 lakh, and so conspired to murder him. However, police says they learnt during questioning that the two were not in the village.

Communal tensions still prevail in the village between the two communities.

RJD national president Lalu Prasad on Wednesday said that the country is heading towards a civil war, courtesy Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.

“New Englishmen come in the form of BJP in the country. PM Narendra Modi does not talk on inflation, unemployment, poverty and other issues. He always talks about temple-mosque (Mandir-Masjid), riots and religions. The people of the country are tired of the propaganda of BJP and Narendra Modi,” the former Bihar chief minister said while reacting to the Hijab controversy.

“BJP is losing Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. They have referred to the protesting farmers as “terrorists”. Since a majority of the farmrs are from the Jat community, the BJP will be wiped out from Jat dominant western Uttar Pradesh and rest of the state as well. Due to ill health am not able to campaign in Uttar Pradesh but am appealing to people of the community to ensure BJP’s defeat in this election,” Lalu Prasad said.

Lalu Prasad arrived in Patna on Tuesday evening to participate in the RJD national level meeting to be held on February 10.

He also said that Nitish Kumar can go anywhere for the post of chief minister of Bihar.
