Islamist Radical Murdered 8, including BJP’s K Raju & Other Hindu Activists

Islamist Radical PFI

Abid Pasha, a 34 year old carpenter associated with the Islamic fundamentalist group Popular Front of India (PFI), has been arrested by Karnataka police for the recent murder of BJP worker K Raju and for 7 other murders over a span of 6 years, besides being involved in other deadly attacks on BJP/Sangh parivar activists.

Is Rajdeep Sardesai Dumb or Playing Dumb?

0
Rajdeep Sardesai

During the Independence Day, 2016, speech, the PM said that many people from Balochistan, Gilgit, Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) have thanked him to express their gratitude (PM Modi had raised the issue of Pakistani  state atrocities against its own citizens in Balochistan and PoK during a recent all-party meeting on Jammu & Kashmir). Rajdeep Sardesai, now at the India Today group, tweeted as follows:

Sardesai: When Manmohan Singh allowed Balochistan in a joint statement in Sharm-el-Sheikh, he was attacked by Congress and BJP. Now ‘B’ word part of I day speech.

Internet has democratised the process of debate and given voice to those who appeared to be voiceless. It is no longer possible for the mainstream media to censor thoughts and information. Sardesai seems to be oblivious of the heightened awareness of people at large about what exactly is the national interest, and that they are able to express their opinion to a large audience.

In the recent past, this phenomenon is restricted not just to the so-called Internet Hindu community. Probably the first comment came from one Rohit Pradhan, a USA based person, and one who would think it an insult to be labelled as an Internet Hindu. (Disclaimer: I, the undersigned, proudly use the label of Internet Hindu for myself.) He tweeted:

Rohit Pradhan: Sardesai, that is a nonsensical argument. Balochistan was referred to (earlier) in terms of India orchestrating terrorism there.

To this, one A.B. (do not know the background), asked: Pradhan, do you think Rajdeep is dumb or playing dumb?

And Rohit Pradhan responded: A.B., latter.

The dictionary meaning of dumb is: Lacking intelligence or good judgment; stupid; dull-witted. And of playing dumb is: To pretend that one has no or little knowledge (of something); to act ignorant or uninformed (about something).

Maybe, just maybe, it could be said that it is better to be labelled as being dumb – at least one can get oneself educated and learn to correct oneself. But playing dumb is also the equivalent of pretending to sleep. Playing dumb means that one is deliberately lying, with the expectation that the reader will not know any better. Playing dumb means that one will refuse to factor in data and interpretation that does not suit one’s political agenda.

The internet has enabled the people of the nation to actively participate in discussions and debate, and not merely vote at election times. And because Sardesai is being continuously exposed, he wants this democratic system to be strangulated, so that he can have the freedom to continue to tell lies. Clearly, the fact that the India Today group continues to employ him is a very poor reflection on the Managing Editor, Aroon Purie. But, I guess Purie just does not care.

Just to remove any doubt that Sardesai wants to play dumb, a few minutes before the above tweet, Sardesai had tweeted:

Police in Congress ruled Karnataka files sedition FIR against Amnesty for organishing Kashmir meet in Bengaluru on ABVP compalint. No outrage?

To which, Kiran Chandrashekar had responded: Saredesai, please get your facts right. FIR was for making anti-India statements in the Kashmir meet and not for organising Kashmir meet itself.

Sindhu’s glory linked to her studying in Christian Institution: Dalit Christian Federation

1

In one of the more bizarre statements to be made in the wake of badminton player PV Sindhu’s silver medal winning performance in the just concluded Rio Olympics, the Dalit Christian Federation convenor Jerusalem Mathaiah said, “She (Sindhu) could achieve the glory only because she studied in Christian institutions.” PV Sindhu has studied in Auxilium High School, Hyderabad, which is a Christian Catholic missionary run school.

But such feelings in fundamentalist Christians of being God’s chosen ones are not bizarre if one understands the Christian (and Islamic) doctrine of Exclusive Monotheism. Pandit Vamdeva Shastri (Dr. David Frawley) explains this dangerous superiority complex in practicing Christians –

“Monotheism – in spite of its name – is a highly dualistic system, not a unity based approach.Monotheism has divided humanity into hostile camps of believers and non-believers, which easily results in misunderstanding and conflict.

An inclusive unity consciousness is not the prime concept behind the monotheistic mind but rather a sharp duality that leads to the need to convert or eliminate the heretic, heathen, kafir, enemy, sinner or idolater – for which many negative terms have been created over the centuries. Monotheism is authoritarian, often intolerant, and poor at dialoguing with other spiritual persuasions, which it tends to dismiss on principle as wrong and dangerous.”

Such delusional thinking is more rampant in the recent converts to Christianity, as compared to the cradle of Christiantiy, Europe, where people are turning away from such fundamentalism after a couple of centuries of dominance by science and reason.

Incidentally, in Jan 2015, the very same Dalit Christian Federation convenor Jerusalem Mathaiah had lashed out at the Catholic Reddy Association (CRA) for organizing the ‘tricentenary celebrations of Global Catholic Reddy families’, terming the event as regressive and casteist in nature. Mathaiah had said Dalit groups would stand in protest outside the venue, if the programme is not called off. “Though we have embraced Christianity, caste issues are still haunting us. We already feel wronged by the fact that not many dalit Catholic Christians have been elevated to high posts,” he had rued back then.

But when it comes to explaining the glory won by a non-Christian, the monotheistic indoctrination forces one to clutch at straws to justify the so-called divine grace showered on the heathen. At that point, all sectarian, race, caste and class differences are forgotten – Christianity must be proved superior to the heather, pagan faith.

Not to be left behind by Mathaiah’s disgraceful comment, Telangana deputy CM Mohammed Mahmood Ali delivered another shocker: “Pullela Gopichand is good, but we will find a better coach for PV Sindhu.”

Christianity and The Rights-based Approach to Global Evangelization

5

“…the Church’s social teaching is itself a valid instrument of evangelization. As such, it proclaims God and his mystery of salvation in Christ to every human being, and for that very reason reveals man to himself. In this light, and only in this light, does it concern itself with everything else: the human rights of the individual, and in particular of the ‘working class’, the family and education, the duties of the State, the ordering of national and international society, economic life, culture, war and peace, and respect for life from the moment of conception until death”.

Public Accountability of the Three Organs of the Government

Public accountability

If one goes through the wordings in the Right To Information (RTI) Act, one can conclude that the main objective of the act is to improve the public accountability of the Government. Government consists of (both Union and States) Legislature, Executive and Judiciary.

“Indians More Interested in PV Sindhu’s caste”, Screams Mainstream Media

0

While the whole nation is celebrating PV Sindhu’s historic achievement in the Rio Olympics, trust our media to defile even this moment of joy by introducing their pet ‘caste angle’ in to the story.

“Searching for Sindhu’s caste” is the headline which greeted readers this Sunday morning on the Times of India’s front page. The report says that one of the ‘most searched’ terms on Google during the badminton final was “PV Sindhu caste”. Picking up on this juicy lead, ‘journalist’ Kim Arora then breathlessly rushed to eminent social scientists for their views on this phenomenon and extracted the desired quotes to complete her ‘story’.

RTE Quota: Schools Move To SC Against Maharashtra Government

0

Schools in Maharashtra have approached the Supreme Court challenging the state’s orders to admit students under the RTE quota at two different levels. We have previously covered a wide range of problems and challenges under RTE faced by private (aided and also unaided) Hindu run schools. The tussle between these schools and the State has been going on for a while, while thousands of schools, mostly budget schools serving deprived communities, have been forced to shut down or are on the verge of closure as per NISA (National Independent School Alliance).

Atrocities Against the Scheduled Castes

The atrocities, discrimination and oppression of the SC is not a new phenomenon. It has been there for ages. So it is unfair and unjust to lay the blame at the door of the BJP. This is not to mean that everything can be just passed off pointing to the past. But statistics and an objective scrutiny of the social scenario will reveal that there has been a gradual downward slide in such crimes. What is unsettling is that the political parties want to fish in troubled waters. Their actions and their utterances clearly show that they are not interesting in alleviating the suffering but in augmenting it and opening the wounds – they are itching to pour oil in the burning fires so that they would garner votes of this most vulnerable section of the Bharatiya populace.

Christian Pastor Arrested for Forcing ‘Shelter Home’ Children to Beg in Hyderabad

A Christian pastor, M James, was arrested yesterday for duping minor children and forcing them into begging at traffic signals in the IT Corridor in Hyderabad, on the pretext of providing education to them at his orphanage ‘Bhrama Puthra Social Service Society’, police said.

Another Hindu Activist, an OBC, Hacked to Death in Congress-ruled Karnataka

2
Hindu Activist Praveen Poojary

An RSS Swayamsevak and autorickshaw driver Praveen Poojari, aged 32, was hacked to death on Sunday night in Kushalnagar town, Kodagu (Coorg) district of Karnataka.

As per this report in StarOfMysore.com :

Poojari was returning home after participating in a torchlight rally organised as part of ‘Akhand Bharath Sankalpa Yatra’ when three unidentified persons hired his auto. After travelling for some distance, they attacked an unsuspecting Poojari at a curved stretch of the road, with a knife, inflicting injuries on his neck and abdomen, it is learnt.

Even as Poojari bled to death, the attackers fled the spot.

As the news of Poojari’s death spread, hundreds of workers of BJP and Hindu organisations gathered in front of Kushalnagar Government Hospital mortuary. They were joined by members of Auto Driver Associations, who staged a flash protest in front of the mortuary, demanding that the District in-charge Minister M.R. Seetharam visit the spot. Virajpet MLA K.G. Bopaiah, who visited the spot, succeeded in convincing the protestors to disperse.

As tension gripped the town following Poojari’s murder, the Police clamped prohibitory orders in the town as a precautionary measure till tomorrow.

Strongly condemning Praveen Poojari’s murder, Bopaiah said that Hindu activists were being targeted in the district. Urging the Police to take appropriate measures for preventing such incidents, Bopaiah asked the Police to trace and apprehend the culprits at the earliest.

BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali has also tweeted his concern with the abject law & order situation in Karnataka under Congress rule –

A few days back, we had another report of Karnataka Congress leaders taking the law into their own hands –

With upright police officials such as DSP Anupama Shenoy being targeted by Government ministers and Congress functionaries, and senior police/admin officers dying in mysterious circumstances such as DSP MS Ganapathi , DSP Kalappa Handibag, IAS DK Ravi – it beggars belief why there is zero debate in national media on the grave crisis facing Karnataka – a state which is home to Bengaluru, the hub of our country’s iconic IT industry.  It is almost as if Karnataka has fallen off the map for our Lutyen’s media cabal – NDTV, TimesNow, CNN IBN, Headlines Today etc. – that was full of negative stories around corruption, church attacks, piling garbage etc. during the previous BJP Government under BS Yedyurappa. While BSY & BJP were hounded 24×7 by our ‘nuetral’ media commentators, Siddaramaiah and his Godmother Sonia have been given a free pass!

If these double standards do not expose the agenda of our English language media, nothing ever will.

The recent event organized by Amnesty International at a Theological college (Christian seminary) in Bengaluru, ostensibly to empathize with victims of the conflict in Kashmir, that predictably led to anti-Bharat, pro-Pakistan and anti-Army sloganeering shows how deep the nexus between #BreakingIndia forces is today : Congress/’Secular’ parties–>Missionaries–>Jihadis–>Communists–>Maoists–>Foreign-funded NGOs–>Marxist Academics–>Lutyen’s Media

Danger Zone For Hindu Activists in South Karnataka

The hacking of Praveen Poojari comes on the back of 3 other recent murders of Hindu activists in Karnataka, all in a belt comprising of 3 adjacent Karnataka districts – Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu (Coorg), Mysore:

  • Kyathemaranahalli Raju (37), a BJP leader, was brutally hacked to death in Mysuru near a tea stall at Udayagiri extension in March this year by a gang of four to five who attacked him with lethal weapons. Raju had stopped the illegal construction of a masjid in Kyatamaranahalli and was the main driving force behind building a Ganesh temple. Only one person has been arrested thus far, and even his name was not revealed in media reports.
  • Prashant Poojary, a Bajrang Dal activist, was hacked to death in Moodbidri (Dakshina Kannada) in Oct 2015 for opposing cow slaughter. 9 people have been arrested thus far for this muder – Mohammad Sharif, Mohammad Mustafa, Kabir, Mustafa Kavoor, Mohammud Haneef (36), Mohammud Ilyas (27), Ibrahmin Liyaqat (26), Abdul Rasheed (39), Mohammad Imtiaz Gantalkatte (40 – he was arrested at Mumbai airport while trying to fly out to Dubai) – all of them are members of the Popular Front of India (PFI), a radical Islamic Organisation; Mohammad Sharif is the president of local unit of PFI in Bajpe in Dakshina Kannada district. A Congress minister Abhyachandra Jain is known to be close to PFI, and had stitched together an alliance between Congress and PFI’s political wing, Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), for panchayat elections.
  • DS Kutappa, a retired State Government employee and VHP’s Organising Secretary for Kodagu district, was killed in Nov 2015 during stone-throwing by Islamists who attacked a peaceful protest against Congress Government sponsored ‘Tipu Jayanti’ celebrations.  CM Siddaramaiah was quick to issue a statement that Kutappa died after falling from a roof to escape the police lathi charge, but later his own police arrested 2 people – Khalid from Arekadu village and Abdul Gafoor from Hudikeri near Siddapur – for the violence which led to Kutappa’s death.

It is probably no coincidence that this danger zone for Hindu activists in Karnataka is bordering North Kerala, another hotspot of Islamic fundamentalism that is flourishing in districts of Kasargod, Kannur, Malappuram. Recently, 21 Muslim youth (including recent converts) had gone missing from Kasargod, suspected to have joined terror group IS (Islamic State). The Islamist organization PFI is based out of Kerala, although it has now acquired a multi-state dimension across South Bharat by merging with other Islamist outfits like Karnataka Forum for Dignity etc. PFI cadre have been involved in several cases of murder, kidnapping, intimidation, Love Jihad and rioting such as the assault on professor T. J. Joseph. In 2012, the Government of Kerala informed the High Court that the activities of Popular Front are inimical to the safety of the country and it is “nothing but a resurrection of the banned outfit Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in another form.” Intel agencies have also found PFI to be involved in terror attacks carried out by IM (Indian Mujahideen), while Taliban & Al-Qaeda propaganda material was seized during raids in 2010.

While our national media and intelligentsia is preoccupied with the alleged threat of ‘cow terror‘, who will raise the issue of Islamist threat to ordinary Hindus like Praveen Poojari? Going by his surname and this Government classification, it appears that Praveen Poojary is an OBC (Other Backward Class) – at least from that angle, shouldn’t he get a mention on front pages and during 9 PM TV debates? Or does his Hindu identity override his caste/class status in the eyes of our secular-liberal media?
