Contrary to the carefully-cultivated image of Christian clergy as ‘loving and gentle’ that is drilled into our minds through films and popular media, the harsh reality is now emerging due to democratization of discourse in the digital age. Two Christian nuns have been arrested in Sambhal district of UP for committing sacrilege against Hindu Dharma by spitting on and burning image of Hindu deities.

The nuns are employees of a local Christian missionary school, CDM High School. They were angry that a Hindu woman, Sunita, was refusing to convert to Christianity. Sunita is married to a Christian man William, and the couple was living harmoniously in Sirsanal village with each following their different faith. But this was unacceptable to the nuns, who are brainwashed in their religious training at seminaries to regard Christianity as the one true religion and Jesus as the only true God. This sense of supremacism and exclusivism is what drives Abrahamic proselytizers, whether its Christian missionaries or Muslim dawah groups, and makes a mockery of their claims of religious tolerance.

So on September 21, the ‘sisters’ Rose Marie and Jisa, broke into Sunita and William’s home, tore down the 4 images of Hindu deities that Sunita used to worship, spat on them and burnt them. A shaken William made an appeal for justice –

Police detained both the accused nuns under section 452/504/506 153-A of the IPC and the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Religion Act 3/5 (1). The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Nakhasa police station. A police posse has been stationed in the village to provide protection to the couple.

While talking to the media, Sunita said, “Both sisters were asking me to become Christian but I refused and told to remain Hindu.” Sunita also said that she has 2 sons and they too will remain Hindu in future.

This incident is yet another example of how FCRA-funded Christian conversion mafia is tearing apart Hindu society and communities, even individual families. Here are some cases of how Christian proselytization injects poison towards their own indigenous traditions and loved ones in new converts –

The missionary mafia is now operating with impunity across the country. Not a week goes by that we do not hear of a Christian pastor/priest/preacher indulging in hate mongering against Hindu Dharma, or sexual assault, or financial fraud, or outright secessionism.

Another interesting thing to note is that these missionaries never operate in Muslim areas (Sambhal district has a sizeable Muslim population) because they know they will be outright lynched if they dare utter a word against Islam and Quran. Yet, in Western media, it is Hindus who are painted as ‘aggressors and fascists’! Is such bias a reflection of monotheist Abrahamic brotherhood and the shared contempt for ‘idol worshippers’ and polytheists?
