RSS Activist’s Murderers had Indian Mujahideen, PFI Links

2
Rudresh RSS Activist Muslims Arrested PFI

The 4 Muslim men arrested for the murder of RSS activist Rudresh R have been found to have links with terrorist organization Indian Mujahideen, Islamic fundamentalist organisation PFI (Popular Front of India) and PFI’s political wing SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India). This was revealed by investigative reporter Vicky Nanjappa –

The recent murder of RSS worker Rudresh in Bengaluru is being investigated and according to the government the accused persons have links with the Indian Mujahideen, SDPI, PFI and al-Ummah.

The Home Minister of Karnataka, Dr G Parameshwar told the assembly that in the past three years, nine persons associated with either the BJP or RSS have been murdered. The minister assured that the BJP and RSS workers would be given security, if they wanted it.”

Earlier, we had reported about the 4 men arrested by Bengaluru police in connection with Rudresh’s murder –

“The Bengaluru City Police on Thursday arrested four persons in connection with the murder of RSS worker Rudresh R on October 16.

The accused have been identified as Mohammed Sadiq [35], resident of JC Nagar, Mohammed Mujibulla [44], resident of R T Nagar, Waseem Ahmed [30], resident of Austin town, and Irfan Pasha (30), resident of Govindapura.

Rudresh [38] was murdered in the heart of Bengaluru after participating in an RSS route march at RBANMS grounds. Police commissioner N S Megharikh said Rudresh he was attacked with a machete by Waseem as he was speaking to three friends. After the murder, Waseem fled from the spot along with Mohammed Sadiq. Two others were waiting a few metres away guarding Waseem and Sadiq.”

Not surprisingly, the news of these arrests was barely covered in mainstream media. Likewise, the arrest of Abid Pasha, a 34 year old carpenter also associated with PFI, in Mysuru for the murder of BJP worker K Raju and 7 other murders over a span of 6 years, was also ignored.

What is PFI?

PFI is a dangerous socio-political Islamist organization which originated in Kerala but has now established deep roots across Bharat, with its headquarter in Delhi. It first shot into prominence when in 2010 PFI members hacked off the hand of  a professor whom they accused of  “insulting the prophet” in a question paper.

After that incident, Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan had said that PFI was aiming to convert Kerala into a Muslim-majority state in the next 20 years. In 2012, the Government of Kerala informed the High Court is “nothing but a resurrection of the banned outfit Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in another form”

There have been recent reports indicating close links between Congress Government in Karnataka & PFI. Last year, the Congress Government in Karnataka dropped criminal cases against 1,600 PFI and KFD (Karnataka Forum for Dignity) activists, who were booked for rioting in different parts of the state in recent years. A few months later, a photo emerged showing minister for fisheries and youth affairs & Congress leader Abhaychandra Jain on stage with Mohammed Sharif Todar, the main accused in the murder of cow protection activist Prashant Poojary. Poojary’s family also alleged that the minister was involved in Prashant’s murder. Jain played a key role in an electoral understanding between the Congress and the PFI’s political wing, Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), during June 2015 gram Panchayat elections in Karnataka.

Radicalization of Indian Muslims is happening faster than ever before, with organizations like PFI gradually getting mainstreamed. It is time the Central Home Ministry takes cognizance of these developments and clamps down on groups like PFI.

Stop Black Money – A Must Watch Video!

1
Stop Black Money

Acclaimed director Vivek Agnihotri’s production house Telling Tales has come out with a short video on how common citizens can contribute to stop black money from being generated.

The message delivered is simple – do as much of your daily transactions as possible through cashless methods, i.e cheque or digital transfer (credit/debit card, e-wallets, mobile payments etc). This is an effective way to remove the scourge of black money and bring more money into the formal economy, raising the Government’s tax base and capital availability for infrastructure and other development works.

The kicker though comes right at the end, where Pallavi Joshi warns us against the neighborhood ‘muffler-wala uncle’ and ‘Didi’ (oblique reference to Kejriwal and Mamta) who are trying to instigate us to oppose this change!

Earlier, Telling Tales had come out with a short video on the surgical strike undertaken by the Indian Army.

Army Conducts Routine Check At Toll Plazas, Mamta Cries ‘Emergency’

0
Mamta Takes Oath In Name of Allah TMC Islamization Uttar Dinajpur

A routine drill by Eastern Command of Army to check availability of civil transport for any potential mobilization of troops and stores in case of war, was likened to ‘Emergency being imposed in the country without declaration’ by West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee

Mamta went on to say that ‘Army has been deployed at two toll plazas without informing the State’, and called the Army presence as a ‘black day’. She took special umbrage to Army being stationed in front of Nabanno, the Bengal State Secretariat, and decided to stay overnight at the Secretariat in order to ‘guard our democracy’. She also offered to lay down her life for the ‘rights of the people’

WB Police also reiterated the stance of the CM that the Army exercise was carried out without taking the State Government into confidence.

However, the Eastern Command of the Army said that the routine exercise was being carried out with full knowledge and coordination of the WB police. They also said that the exercise was being carried out across many NE states. Interestingly, no other state Government has opposed the Army exercise.

A retired Major General of the Army took to twitter to explain the rationale behind the exercise, and criticized the State Government for blowing it out of proportion –

https://twitter.com/SKSk785/status/804381808179580928

https://twitter.com/SKSk785/status/804382315673567232

TMC leader Derek O’Brien had shared this video of the Army ‘takeover’ –

Same Mamta is silent over series of riots in her state

Recently, during Durga Puja, a series of riots had broken out in West Bengal where poor Hindus were disproportionately targeted. And this was not a new phenomenon – WB police has been a complete failure in stopping the Islamic radicalization of large swathes of WB’s hinterland, since the Islamists  have full backing of the ruling TMC.

Hitting out at an Army data collection exercise in her state, marks a new low in Mamta Banerjee’s term as CM. She is behaving as if West Bengal is separate from the Union of Bharat, and is allowing her political battle with PM Narendra Modi to take a dangerous new turn.

The Army is one institution which commands respect across the nation. It is the last line of defense this country has in case of external and internal aggression. Especially in sensitive border states like West Bengal, the Army needs to work in close co-ordination with State Governments. Such petty squabbling over a simple data collection exercise is unbecoming for a person holding a Constitutional Post like CM.

People on social media were quick to deride Mamta Banerjee for cooking up such conspiracy theories, which have brought her to the same league as Delhi CM – ‘Modi can get me killed’ – Arvind Kejriwal.

This episode is reminiscent of the 2012 ‘coup’ story broken by Shekhar Gupta wherein he dubbed two Army units movement towards Delhi as indicative of a coup attempt. That sensationalist story was dismissed as baseless even by the UPA-2 Government, and it later emerged that the story might have been planted by a senior cabinet minister to discredit Army Chief VK Singh.

Opposition parties like TMC and dubious media operators should think twice before dragging the Army into their scheming political games. This could well backfire on  them, as such scaremongering using the Army is not doing their credibility and reputation any good. It just makes them look like crazy desperadoes clamoring for some attention.

Pune Citizens Take to Streets in Support of Demonetization

1
Citizens Protest

The Bharat Bandh organized by Congress-led opposition parties on 28 Nov, to protest against demonetization, turned out to be a damp squib. But the bandh call inadvertently motivated citizens, without any political affiliation, to come out on streets in support of the demonetization move.

One such citizens’ movement in favor of demonetization occurred in Pune on 28th November, and this is what one of the organizers had to say –

“As we all know, Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes have been demonetized from 8th Nov, 2016 to catch the corrupt and to punish the corrupt. But it also evoked panic in people and caused inconvenience to common people of Bharat.

But it is very clear that this move of demonetization has pros or benefits – like end of hawala mafia, end of fake currency rackets, end of funding to naxals, end of Kashmiri stone pelters, blow to parallel unaccountable economy running on hard cash, end of so many troubling issues which either our army men had to face or the locals residing in border areas.

So, the question here is: either we, citizens of Bharat, understand these benefits and contribute to this biggest currency evolution or spread rumors and curse the Government for making us stand in bank and ATM queues?

I have been personally observing opinion of common people standing in queue and I found all of them to be happy about this big decision.

But then why is the Opposition cursing the move’s implementation, don’t they understand the required element of surprise in this operation? They talk about pain of common men, but where are these unhappy common men, I can’t find them. I doubt if they exist or they are made up.

To show that we Bharatiyas have welcomed this evolutionary move, we’ve organized a movement in Pune in support of demonetization on 28th Nov, 2016. Support like this have has been seen in all parts of the country, where citizens have come down on the streets to show their support to demonetization.

Jai Hind
Ishwar Rajwani

Here is a video of common citizens’ speaking out during the Pune event in support of PM Narendra Modi’s demonetization scheme:

We congratulate Shri Ishwar Rajwani and other citizens of Pune who took part in this movement – ordinary folk taking to the streets in such an orderly manner to voice their opinion is a very healthy sign for our society and democracy. For far too long, such ground activism has been restricted to political parties and professional NGOs (some with dubious hidden agendas), who often resort to disruptive bandhs and violent protests to deliver their message.

The last few years has seen an awakening in the middle class who are increasingly making themselves heard with informed, cogent interventions in matters as diverse as corruption, JNU anti-national activities, assaults against women, fake ‘rising intolerance’ narrative etc. The message for the political & media elites, intelligentsia and NGO lobby is clear – they no longer control the public discourse. Mainstream media’s credibility is especially in decline due to drift from dispassionate reportage to “very aggressive, narrative-shaping” journalism. The rise of social media has also democratized opinion formation, giving space to many hitherto unknown voices with fresh insight.

The true impact of demonetization will only be known after some months, but what this movement in Pune and similar support from across the nation has shown is that the common people of Bharat are backing PM Modi in his bold attempt to tackle the menace of black money and fake currency racket. Congress-led opposition and large sections of English media are totally out of sync with the public mood, once again.

Will Hindus Cease To Exist In Bangladesh & Pakistan?

4
Bangladesh Hindu girl

As per a report in Dhaka Tribune, eminent researcher & economist of Bangladesh, Dr. Abul Barkat has clearly mentioned ‘there will be no Hindus left in the country (Bangladesh) three decades from now’ in his new book .

Quoting the news report :

‘ “The rate of exodus over the past 49 years points to that direction,” the Dhaka University teacher says in his book ‘Political economy of reforming agriculture-land-water bodies in Bangladesh’ published yesterday. He was addressing the book launching ceremony at Senate Bhaban of Dhaka University.

From 1964 to 2013, around 11.3 million Hindus left Bangladesh due to religious persecution and discrimination, he said. It means on an average 632 Hindus left the country each day and 230,612 annually.

From his 30-year-long research, Barkat found that the exodus mostly took place during military governments after independence.

Before the Liberation War, the daily rate of migration was 705 while it was 512 during 1971-1981 and 438 during 1981-1991. The number increased to 767 persons each day during 1991-2001 while around 774 persons left the country during 2001-2012, the book says.

DU teacher Prof Ajoy Roy said the government grabbed the properties of the Hindus during the Pakistan regime describing them as enemy property and the same properties were taken by the government after independence as vested property.

According to the book, these two measures made 60% of the Hindus landless.’

Most people are aware that Hindus of Pakistan & Bangladesh have been facing injustices & persecution since long, and I started researching for more statistics and qualitative information regarding Hindus in Pak & BD. In the process, I chanced upon this write-up by Anand RanganathanThe Vanishing Hindus of Pakistan – a Demographic Study‘. In this write-up, Anand has provided clear statistics of decreasing Hindu population in Bangladesh :

hindus-in-bd

But his article primarily makes a comparative study of persecution of Hindus in Pakistan vs. Hindus in Bangladesh and post-partition scenarios in Pakistan & Bhartiya Punjab. Although many of his points are totally agreeable, he ultimately infers that persecution of Hindus reduced a great deal in 1951 in Pakistan as the persecution of Muslims ended in Bharat in 1951, and that ‘the battle lies elsewhere‘ i.e. in Bangladesh which has been eradicating Hindus post 1951 with much more zeal in terms of numbers.

For once I thought about not pointing out my perception of Anand Ranganathan’s write-up, but then things must be brought out not only from Hindu perspective, but qualitatively too. Basically, Anand has ended up comparing the situation in entire Pakistan with only Bhartiya Punjab post 1951 till 1998 or so. Pakistan is not Punjab’s size, it is an entire nation (Bharat is only four times bigger than Pakistan). Though he clearly mentions that Muslims in other states like UP etc did not face persecution, his write-up ultimately legitimizes the ongoing persecution of Hindus in Pakistan. He mentions that ‘Hindu population has faced persecution in Pakistan ever since 1947, but it didn’t vanish – it came home’. Anand forgets to mention that not only Hindus came home but also lakhs of Muslims returned to Bharat post 1951 in the light of Nehru Liaquat Pact, while very few Hindus actually went back to East & West Pakistan, specially West Pakistan post 1951. And ‘home’ is a term that is best left to the native of a piece of land/ region. Just like Hyderabad and UP is ‘home’ to many Muslims, Sindh and Punjab in Pak were ‘home’ to lot many Hindus.

Anand not only forgets to mention Nehru Liaquat Pact, he also forgets to consider the deep implications that ‘Objectives Resolution‘ had on Pakistan’s constitution which was introduced by Liaquat Ali Khan in March, 1949. This resolution turned Pakistan into Islamic state officially, they however called it Islamic democracy. (Not that any sensible human knowing the real history cannot make out that any nation with Muslim majority eventually leads to secondary status for all kinds of minority populations).

Anyway, Anand seems confused if at all to blame Pakistan for persecution of Hindus when he writes that piece in the January of 2015. After all, as many Muslims were persecuted immediately post partition in Bhartiya Punjab too. But what Anand has not been able to realize is, Pakistan persecuted all of its Hindus is just 5 years while Bangladesh has taken a little more time. Well, that’s also a way of looking at the same figures! And by the January of 2015, when he writes that piece, Muslims have grown many fold in many parts of Bharat, but similar reports have not come from Pakistan, i.e. of happy Hindus. Though he has acknowledged the fact that Muslims were not persecuted in all states  of Bharat post partition, he makes sure to call the so called ‘stabilized’ 1.6% Hindus plus Schedule Castes of  Pakistan a ‘tiny’ population. It is funnily amazing to note that Hindu population in Pakistan has remained the static same from 1951 till 1998 and Pakistan has not released any census figures for almost two decades now.

Moving on, in spite of the insensitive tone of Anand’s article, there’s nothing to disagree with it except for one thing – the article forgets to mention return of many Muslims post Nehru Liaquat Pact and fails to mention ongoing injustices to Pak Hindus in clear terms vs very high growth of Muslims in Bharat by the time he chose to write that piece. For example, he writes :

Take, next, the case of Gurdaspur. According to the 1941 Census, there were 4,40,323 Muslims in Gurdaspur, or 25 per cent of the population of the district. By 1951, Muslim numbers had come down to 10,425. In 1971, the number of Muslims in Gurdaspur was 6,868, or 0.56 per cent of the population. Now if one were to read these decreases as HAF did for the Hindu population of Pakistan, one would phrase it thus: At the time of Partition in 1947, the Muslim community in what is now Gurdaspur was approximately 25 per cent of the population. By 1971 it was only 0.56 per cent.

Although factually correct, the above statement is misleading and doesn’t tell the real story, which is that the Muslim population was “decimated” because of an overwhelming outflow around the time of partition itself. A truer picture emerges only when we compare the 1951 population numbers with those that were revealed during subsequent Census counts. This holds as much for the Muslim numbers for Indian Punjab as it does for the Hindu numbers for Pakistan.

The biggest flaw of the above comparison drawn by Anand is that, he compares a mere Gurdaspur district of Bharat with entire Pakistan. (Of course, the great Hindu magnanimity invariably plays its part in most of us). Did the Hindu population of Sindh in Pakistan spill over to other states of Pakistan post 1951? No. Did some Hindus of Pakistan gradually return to Pakistan post 1951? No. We shall soon see the figures of Muslim growth in what was called undivided Punjab of Bharat, which is mostly today’s Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.  Moreover, post partition it was a war like situation. In the heat of a war like situation between two countries, it is obvious that there will be casualties on both sides. Why was Punjab in Bharat considered separately? What if Bharat would have retaliated by persecuting millions of Muslims living in other states too? What did we gain as a bigger country? Nothing. We have only been giving post 1951.

Honestly, it is futile to differentiate between Pakistan & Bangladesh in terms of persecution of Hindus, because of two main underlying reasons – history and Islamic ideology.

Muslim Population in Bharat has grown from 9.8% in 1951 to 14.23% (officially) in 2011. While Bharat has seen multiple news reports about Hindu Refugees from Pakistan and Bangladesh in recent times, how many Muslim refugees have gone back to Pakistan crying victimization in Bharat?

Anand gives the figure correctly for Muslims in Bhartiya Punjab :

ar-muslims-in-indian-punjab

Now ‘Indian Punjab’ that time was today’s Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh mostly. While Pakistan’s Hindu population has ‘stabilized’ to 1.6 % plus Schedule Castes, let us see how Muslims have grown in these 3 states of today :

demography-in-haryana

punjab-demography-2011

hp-demography

Whoa! From 0.8% in 1951 to more than 11% Muslims in 2011 in undivided Punjab. Is this growth possible only by breeding? Every state of Bharat has seen growth in Muslim numbers. It may be noted that no religion in Bharat dares to fudge its numbers simply because of reservation laws, that provide advantage to Schedule Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. As Abrahamic doctrines boast of ‘no casteism’ in Bharat, these laws do not apply to Muslims and Christians (though the minority religions almost control their organizations freely and even get preferences in certain sectors like education which is driving Hindu enterprises away from those sectors gradually, is spite of being a majority here). Hence it is usually said, especially about Christians, that their numbers are reported far less than they actually are. It is a separate issue and there are references available of Christian leaders themselves claiming far more population than official figures.

Indeed, breeding among Muslims is higher because contraception is not accepted by many of them, because it is said that it is mentioned as unacceptable in their religion. But this kind of growth is not possible by breeding alone. It is easy to get references that Muslims returned from east Pakistan, along with Hindus, post Nehru Liaquat Pact. Here are some references from Partha S. Ghosh’s book ‘Migrants, Refugees & The Stateless In South Asia‘ :

muslims-returned-to-north-east-post-nl-pact

Just in about 4 months, 3 lakh Muslims returned to North-East Bharat post Nehru Liaquat Pact! Everybody knows Muslims are still ‘returning’ from Bangladesh. Of course, many Hindus returned too. A cached thesis / paper at Shodhgana, which I couldn’t access fully, speaks about this too :

shodhgana

It is more difficult to find references of Muslims returning to undivided Punjab and North Bharat. It needs more hours of research and right resources. However, I could find few references in the above mentioned book of Partha S. Ghosh, though our elders have always told this and we know it by word of mouth :

mujhajirs-back-to-india

muslims-returned-to-delhi-till-1948

It is estimated that at least a million Muslims returned to Bharat post Nehru Liaquat Pact, and they have only grown in Bharat post 1951 in overall sense. And it is also totally true that persecution of Hindus has been going on and continues in Pakistan. If numbers are not reflecting it, it is not being reported properly. The injustices to Hindus in Pak & BD are also severe in qualitative sense – their quality of life, prosperity, freedom and ease to practice their religion happily. The justice is totally missing in holistic terms. Hindus could not get their marriages registered in Pakistan till now! Many Hindus cannot cremate bodies of their dead, they have to bury those. There was no law against forced religious conversion of Hindus, only now Pakistan’s Sindh province has outlawed forced conversions which is also facing protest from Muslim extremists. It is estimated that about 1000 Hindu girls are forcibly converted to Islam annually in Pakistan.

The plight of Hindu Refugees from Pakistan (and Bangladesh) is not hidden from anybody. They are still coming from there and they don’t want to go back. There are many colonies of Hindu Refugees (from Pak & BD) in Bharat. The lowest socio-economic classes of Hindus suffer most injustices there.

Clearly, the battle doesn’t lie elsewhere, it lies everywhere where Hindus are in minority!

PS: I would like to acknowledge my interactions with @maidros78 which have helped me immensely in gathering the sources for the above write-up.

Time to Snap Ties With Islamic Republic of Pakistan – Plot its Destruction

1
snap Ties with pakistan

If ever a nation has come to epitomize evil since Hitler’s Nazi Germany, it is the Islamic republic of Pakistan. And the only way to deal with such pure evil  is to destroy it completely. No half-measures, no counter punches, no more negotiations, just an iron resolve to destroy this evil state once and for all.

7 Armymen killed

Two Army officers and five soldiers were killed and half a dozen others wounded in a fierce gun battle with a group of heavily armed jihadis  which stormed an Army camp at Nagrota on the outskirts of Jammu shortly before dawn on Tuesday. At least, three terrorists were also killed by the Army, and the area was being “sanitised” as reports last came in.

The terrorists wearing police uniforms had forced their entry into the Officers Mess complex by throwing grenades and firing at the sentries at around 5.30 AM. They occupied two buildings leading to a “hostage like situation” as besides officers and men their families were present there, an Army spokesman said.

BSF foils infiltration bid – many soldiers critically injured

The same report mentioned earlier adds –

“Separately, the Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration bid from across the International Border (IB) in the State’s Samba sector after killing three terrorists on Tuesday, officials said. One jawan Sanjay Kumar was seriously injured in the encounter, said the BSF.

Later during the day, BSF DIG B.S. Kasana, Inspector Paramjeet and Constable Vikas and a jawan of J&K Police’s counterinsurgency Special Operations Group (SOG) Sarabjeet Singh were injured in a blast while carrying out mopping-up operation in the area, Samba’s Deputy Commissioner Samba Sheetal Nanda said. The BSF sources said that a improvised explosive device went off when the jawans were removing the corpse of one of the slain terrorists. Their condition is stated to be critical. A report said that in all six BSF and J&K policemen received grievous injuries in the blast.”

It is important to note that 4 security men were critically injured in a booby-trap IED blast that occurred while clearing the corpse of a slain terrorist. And this is not something new – jihadis have been known to adopt unethical means of warfare through the ages. But yet, when security forces like the Bhopal policeman who shot at an injured/dead SIMI terrorist decide to take no chances, our media and intelligentsia start shouting ‘fake encounter’.

2 Soldiers Badly Mutilated by Pakistani Army at LoC

As per another report  –

“Shock, anger and outrage gripped the security and political establishment after the suspected Border Action Team (BAT) of Pakistan badly mutilated the body of an Indian Army soldier and killed two others when they ambushed counter-infiltration patrol on the Line of Control (LoC) at Machhil sector of Kupwara district on Tuesday last (22 November). The slain soldiers were identified as Gunner Manoj Kumar Kushwa of Uttar Pradesh, Riffleman Prabhu Singh of Rajasthan and Riffleman Shashank K Singh of Uttar Pradesh.

It was for the second time in less than a month that the body of an Indian soldier was badly mutilated on the LoC in the Machhil sector. On October 28, militants badly mutilated the body of Rifleman Mandeep Singh of Sikh regiment.”

This BAT seems to be an especially deranged unit of the Pakistani Army, specializing in Islamic State like savage beheadings –

“The BAT, on January 8, 2013, had breached the LoC in Mendhar sector and beheaded Lance Naik Hemraj and badly mutilated the body of Lance Naik Sudhakar Singh of 13 Rajputana Rifles.”

During the Kargil war too Lt. Saurabh Kalia and 5 men of his platoon were subjected to the most inhuman and grotesque torture by the animals masquerading as soldiers of the Pakistan Army.

The penchant for beheading and abusing the corpse of an enemy is an established practice in Islamic history. The Mughal emperor Akbar routinely emulated his ancestors by erecting towers of human skulls after almost every battle, by beheading slain enemy soldiers. So it is no surprise that jihadis to this day take great pride in this barbarity.

How to deal with an uncivilized savage nation?

Right from its inception, Pakistan has displayed its savage, brutal face at regular intervals. From the genocide of Hindus & Sikhs during invasion into Jammu & Kashmir in 1947, genocide of over 2 million Bengalis (mostly Hindus) during the 1971 Bangladeshi war of independence, declaration of Ahmadis as non-Muslims, the draconian Hudood ordinances passed in 1977 as part of Zia-ul-Haq’s overt “Islamisation”, the use of terror as an instrument of State Policy against Bharat from 1980s onwards, sneak attack in Kargil, the never-ending persecution of minorities like Hindus, Christians & others within Pakistan, state-sanctioned rape & forced conversion of Hindu girls, harboring the dreaded Osama Bin Laden, exporting terror throughout the world…Pakistan’s list of black deeds would put the worst dictator to shame.

No other country in the world currently poses such a threat to the world, and to its neighbors, like Pakistan does. Even North Korea ruled by a psychopathic dictator doesn’t export terrorism or barbarously murder arch-enemy South Korea’s soldiers, the way Pakistan does.

The surgical strikes against terror camps in PoK on 29 Sept was a welcome first step – it signaled that the Government of Bharat has finally woken up to the reality that no talks or negotiations with Pakistan can ever succeed until their poisonous state ideology of Islamic jihad is defeated. But surgical strikes and tit-for-tat shelling across the LoC alone will not suffice. At the very least, Pakistani Army needs to learn that it too is not safe in its cantonments.

Bharat needs to adopt a comprehensive policy to isolate and defeat Pakistan militarily, diplomatically and economically. Why are we allowing Pakistani diplomatic offices to operate in Bharat, when it is clear that they are dens of spying and a meeting ground for anti-Bharat forces – Pakistan’s foreign policy chief Sartaj Aziz recently said that Pakistani missions abroad, including in Bharat, are making efforts to reach out to those who are opposed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “extremism.”

Defeating the jihadi state of Pakistan has to be one of our topmost national goals, and such evil can only be defeated by force. Sri Rama did not negotiate with Ravana beyond a point – he invaded Lanka and killed Ravana to end his evil rule. We must emulate Sri Rama and not the failed Gandhian policy of turning the other cheek. Pakistan lovers in Bharat like Mahesh Bhatt, Shahrukh Khan, Mani Shankar Aiyer, Barkha Dutt etc. must be named and shamed at every opportunity.

Declaring Pakistan a terrorist state and completely freezing all ties – diplomatic, economic, cultural, sporting – is required at the earliest. The geo-political environment is also in our favor. Then use every option available to us – Baloch freedom struggle, Indus water treaty, PoK unrest, calls for Sindhudesh – to bring Pakistan to its knees and uproot the evil of Islamism and jihad.

If 1 billion people of Bharat make up their minds to defeat the evil represented by Pakistan, no power in the world can stop us.

Black Money- Neighbour’s Envy, Owner’s Pride?

0
Black Money

In his much acclaimed book “Rearming Hinduism”, author Shri Vamsee Juluri argues that the world’s oldest civilization survived till date because of this unique feature – “Hinduism is about intelligence, more than anything else”.

Each person immersed in this civilization prayed every morning seeking only this knowledge and wisdom (gyan / enlightenment / intelligence), through sacred chants written in Vedas.

Survival of this civilization for more than five thousand years, along with its unique humanistic worldview, in spite of physical and cultural genocide from barbarians and imperialists of Islam and Christianity, is a remarkable feat in itself and an achievement of sorts. Though badly bruised, wounded and bleeding, this civilization is the sole survivor, among ruins of classical world in its neighbourhood, only due to reverence for quest of knowledge and wisdom.

Reverence of wisdom over wealth

We started our days with sacred chants of “Pavamana Mantra- Asto Ma Sadgamya….” and “Gayatri Mantra- Om Bhur Bhuv…”, seeking enlightenment and enhancement of our understanding from divine.

Knowledge and wisdom were at premium in the society throughout the history of this civilization. Even mightiest of the kings i.e Samrats washed the feet of those who possessed wisdom, and bowed in respect before them. It is this civilization where sages like Veda Vyasa, Patanjali, Charaka; mathematicians like Aryabhatt, Varahmihir; strategists like Vidur and Chanakya; poets like Surdas and Tulasidas are revered more than their contemporary kings, princes and noble men.

Even knowledge and wisdom seeking outsiders and travellers like Fa-hien were welcome guests. This feature was hallmark of this civilization, but of late it got replaced with an insatiable urge of accumulating wealth. Post-independence Bharat saw emergence of new icons who acted as role-models for society. Nature and thoughts of leadership changed. Simplicity and honesty of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri and Shri Jaiprakash Narayan got replaced with over ambition & naked greed of a host of feudal leaders, who all bettered the corruption records of Congress in their own novel ways.

Material hoarding and survival instincts taking precedence

With imperialist invasion of Islam and Christianity later, both seeking to rob material wealth and destroy knowledge wealth from this civilization, the quest for wisdom and knowledge retreated in the background. It hibernated somewhere in isolated corners of society, while animal instincts of survival started getting glorified. We started getting influenced by psyche of invaders coming from societies where scarcity and deprivation abounded and loot & plunder were considered legitimate activities. Under influence of western values, over-exploitation of natural resources for unsustainable consumption became the new norm. Plundering of public entitlements for filling private coffers became a common phenomenon.

Skewed economic incentive system

New emphasis on tournament theory of achieving super normal returns on optimum effort and investment, further fuelled acquired culture of accumulating more material and wealth than needed, while ethos of respecting wisdom and knowledge hibernated in background.

A famous tagline of well-known television brand of yore “Neighbour’s Envy, Owner’s pride” perfectly captured this new aspiration that guided the behaviour of society. People were busy matching or surpassing the wealth of their neighbours without bothering to stop and reflect on means of achieving this. The end result became more important than the process itself. Someone who still bothered about righteousness of means was frowned upon and became a pariah in society. Upright economic and social behaviour was dis-incentivised and discriminated against.

An honest government servant would be reprimanded with punishment or isolation postings, lest he/she acts as a thorn in otherwise well-functioning dishonest system of bureaucracy.

An honest business following all norms of land, using finances from legitimate sources, paying all taxes would be outcompeted from market by businesses giving a toss to norms of land.

Perish or adapt was the new-age mantra for honest, finding whom was akin to searching for a needle in a haystack. We somehow started feeling comfortable in a society where rewards for disobeying the system and dishonest behaviour were super-normal.

A sincere effort for reversal of incentive system

The above situation that has prevailed for seven decades after independence remained unchallenged till the evening of 8th November 2016, when Prime Minister of Bharat Shri Narendra Modi demonetised higher denomination notes.

Demonetisation, in itself is a blunt and inefficient tool to tackle the malaise of a society that has long forgotten its basic values system. Used alone, it is incapable of changing the skewed incentive system described above, overnight. However it did send a message across society that this skewed system is no more cherished by the government of the day.

But this blunt tool, proved not so blunt in deep cleansing the nation from the entire fake currency and associated network for time being. This enemy supported fake currency was undermining the very concept of re-emerging Bharat as a knowledge economy.

At a subliminal level, a subtle message has been decoded by players thriving in informal economy by this action of government. This message is that either change with changing incentive system, or change the government itself, at next best opportunity. However, If government uses more tools to alter the present skewed incentive systems further, it would be prudent to change rather than becoming object of mockery by same neighbours who envied these players earlier.

On the side-lines, there are many questions raised about intentions of government for introducing Rs. 2000 currency notes during demonetisation. Here it would be pragmatic to recall options theory of finance. Options are as much valuable in finance as in other decision making situations. Howsoever blunt this demonetization tool is, retaining it for future possible use is a valuable option in the hands of government. A high value currency in market helps in sharpening edge of this blunt tool, whenever it would be used in future.

Finally, in democracy peoples’ voice counts. It is the peoples’ mandate in future elections that would tell if the original DNA of this civilization, highlighted by Shri Vamsee Juluri, has hibernated during adverse season, or has permanently decomposed while hibernating.

J&K Gujjars ask for Gujjaristhan

0
Gujjars

Problems and needs of Gujjar Bakarwal community are different from other communities in J&K. This difference is markedly in language and culture. On this and many other counts Gujjar Bakarwal community has its distinct identity.

This community mostly inhabits pastures on hilly areas within forests ranges and along the Indo-Pak LoC in J&K. Originating from Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Kathiawar, the Gujjars of J&K  migrated to far north in hoary past owing to natural calamities. Rajatarangini mentions their presence around 9-10th centuries across Kashmir’s north-western borders. After conversion to Islam they split into two factions.

These people live in the lap of nature and by the side of mountain lakes on Pir Panjal. Pastures where they graze their herds and flocks are called bahak in their dialect, which is a mix of Punjabi, Pahari and Sanskrit/Hindi. These pastures are unique and breath- taking and for generation after generation, have remained the home of this migratory community. They are fully acquainted with mesmerizing topography of these mountain and their pastures, forests and gorges where they raise their cattle, families and progeny, far away from the madding crowds. On these pastures they are born, brought up, spend the life and pass away. Panjtari and Sari Mastan are the most popular pastures among scores of them known to the Gujjars and Bakarwals.

J&K Government has rebuilt the ancient Mughal Road which connects the district of Rajouri with Kashmir valley over the heights of Pir Panjal. With the passage of time the Mughal Road will gain immense importance because it is not only the alternate to BC Road but is much more motorable and physically stable.

Historically speaking, the history of Kashmir is more the history of Pir Panjal than the valley itself. In medieval times, the strategic importance of Pir Panjal was immense to the warlords on both sides. Any Kashmiri warlord called Damara chief would seek protection across Pir Panjal if he was defeated in a battle with his rivals in the valley. On the southern side of the Pir, he reassembled his men and carried a counter attack to regain supremacy in Kashmir.

On 19 April 1991 through an ordinance, the Govt. of Bharat announced inclusion of Gujjars and Bakawals among scheduled tribes. Despite a gap of over 25 years the state government of Jammu and Kashmir has not implemented it in letter and in spirit to give them full benefit of Scheduled Tribe status. For many decades, the State government has deliberately obstructed efforts of the Central Government for the development of Gujjar and Bakarwal community of J&K.  This discriminatory attitude has thrust the community into political, social, economical and educational backwardness.

Representation of Gujjars and Bakarwals in state services is a no starter because of their educational backwardness. Illiteracy among women has not been tackled as it should be, and the community cannot make any progress unless the women are educated.

Keeping in view the aforementioned circumstances and to ensure the all round development of Gujjar & Bakarwal community of J&K state, whose overall population is almost half of the J&K State, a separate geographical entity to be called “Gujjarsthan” must be created. Bharat’s Constitution does provide for reorganization of a federating State and the creation of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh is a living example.

Only then their economic, educational, political and social backwardness could be removed and they will get justice. It has to be asserted that patriotism of the community has been established by the post-independence history of our country and the State.

The community dwells along the LoC. Once their geographical entity is established, they will be most effective in scuttling any effort by our enemy to cross the border clandestinely and indulge in sabotage as has been happening now.

During the tribal attack of 1947, they worked hand in hand with army and security forces. In the process many laid down their lives in 1947, 1965 and 1971 wars. Besides, many Gujjars and Bakarwals were eliminated by the terrorists during the ongoing insurgency. Nothing deterred them from supporting national cause.

Far from being a dividing line, the well known range of Gujjar habitat is in fact the major link of hills and mountains around which the saga of heroic Gujjars and Bakarwals is woven from times immemorial. Strange as it sounds, this watershed has bound together rather than distanced the two climatically and topographically varying regions of the State, viz. Kashmir valley and Jammu Division. In a sense, Pir Panjal is the westward extension of the Shivalak Hills.

Kashmir history tells us that this was the region that formed the kingdom of Queen Dida and her faithful and chivalrous Gujjar warriors in the 11th century. Rajatarangini tells us that this queen was connected by blood to the Shahi rulers of Udhbhanda, the Waihind of ancient history, and Gandhara or modern Kandahar. The ancestors of Gujjars and Bakarwals inhabiting the slopes of Pir Panjal were witness to great events of history like the march into these areas of the troops of Mahmud Ghaznavi and Timur.

Gujjarsthan is the region beginning with southern mountain ranges of the J&K State, making continuous series of ranges from Jawahar Tunnel towards Uri to the west. On its southern side we have the districts of Poonch and Rajouri including tehsils of Mahore and Gulab Garh of Reasi district and tehsil Gool of Ramban district. Towards its north and north- west lie the valley of Kashmir and the Gujjar regions beyond. Between the parallel ranges of these mountains, there are narrow valleys and gorges carrying in their laps streams and nullahs of pure cold water from the snowy peaks of the mountains. Among the high places of the range are Tata Kootian, Neel Kanth, Keeran, Haji Pir, Ganga Choti and Atoli Pir. The Pir Panjal carries a number of passes connecting Kashmir valley with the northern and north-western areas of Poonch and Rajouri.

Thus historically, geographically, linguistically, culturally and topographically this is a region which deserves to be given its identity as a territorial unit with fullest autonomous status as Gujjarsathan. That is the only way how its backwardness can be removed and the region will become part of national developmental programme of the Government of Bharat.

Ancestral Houses Of Hindus Are Still Being Burnt In Kashmir

3
Kashmir

Unscrupulous elements set ablaze the residential house of a Kashmiri Pandit family on the night of 25th November 2016 in Shopian, Kashmir, who took to social media to express their disappointment. There is no mention of this news in the English mainstream media as yet.

We could contact a member of the KP family whose house was burnt down, Mr. Vinod Tikoo, and in his words :

“My late aunt ( bua ) owned this house ..the house belonging to Late Sh. Arjan Nath Wangoo, F/o Ashok Wangoo & Preduman Krishan Wangoo, was gutted by the miscreants on the night of 25th November at Shopian Traparpora, Kashmir. Residential house of Chaman Lal Wangoo was also partially damaged in this fire incident. The house was occupied by the police for watch, and ward of the non Kashmiri Pandit migrants for the last more than 18 yrs. It is very sad that the government is trying to bridge the gaps but all in vain. Still we are getting targeted by damaging our homes and hearths. So that there should be no possibility of our return to homeland.”

Here are some pictures of the house burnt :

Mr. Vinod Tikoo’s wife, Ms. Lakshmi Kaul, took to twitter to express herself :

And my last connection to homeland has been set ablaze last night in Shopian!! While we try to build bridges, our homes continue to burn. pic.twitter.com/3U0AY7YR6v

@ABoni8 my husband’ ancestral home – I haven’t even visited it yet! So many memories of their childhood 🙁 All ashes now

— Lakshmi Kaul (@KaulLakshmi) November 26, 2016

@ABoni8 everyday attempts are made to wipe out our very existence. We shall not fade nor lose our connection to the roots no matter what!

— Lakshmi Kaul (@KaulLakshmi) November 26, 2016

It is unbelievable that such news from Kashmir doesn’t make it to mainstream media and doesn’t get discussed on news panels. Will the Kashmir government give compensation for this damage, like it was given to Dadri victims or Mewat gang-rape victims? The question is, how many Hindus / Kashmiri Pandits will the government compensate through out Bharat? Not only does this need to be discussed loudly, also needed is politically incorrect discussion of bringing Kashmir under common laws and constitution like rest of Bharat. Also needed is a consistent discussion on how to wipe out Islamic violence.

Kashmiri Pandits have been awaiting justice since decades!

(We thank Mr. Vinod Tikoo & Ms. Lakshmi Kaul for speaking to us).

Rahul Gandhi and the Congress’ Hypocrisy

0
New brand of netas Congress' Hypocrisy Opposing

It is time to expose the hypocrites that strut the political scenario. Kejriwal is a psychopath and a megalomaniac – if one had noted, throughout his target was PM Modi; even if someone spits he will cry hoarse that Modi is responsible! He does not focus on the different ministries or the persons directly concerned with the problem, but it is Modi whom he derides. Look how he cries himself hoarse and instigates people to rise in rebellion. The less one talks of him the better, he is not worth all that attention. He thinks he is the savior of this nation. He is an upstart and needs psychiatric treatment.

Another one is Rahul Gandhi (RG) who may not even be able to spell the word ‘economics’ but goes around talking nonsense. He does not even know this own family history, how can he know the nations’? His grandmother was a dictator and yet he points at Modi and advises Modi to listen to the people. Did his grandmother, his father and his mother listen to the people? Of course, they had a set of sycophants and a coterie around them. Every step they took was against the very concept of democracy. Scams and looting was the order of the day. Yet RG calls Modi a dictator.

RG does not know what is governance because he never understood what real politics is all about. He and his mother are draft readers – RG simply repeats slogans which his backroom boys coin and thinks that it is really effective. What one cannot understand is the cheap petty way he and his mother are functioning. They who speak of democracy do not have democracy within their party, because they do not believe in it and never upheld it within the party or outside. It is all selections and appointments, of those who never sweated out to earn their livelihood.

Sonia Gandhi warns (referring to Modi) that there are no short  cuts to greatness. True, because Sonia Gandhi was a schemer – her scheme was to enter the family of Nehru Gandhi. It took long and careful planning. So she holds out to Modi that there is no short cut to greatness. How did Sonia Gandhi become what she is? How has she now occupied  10 Janpath; with what did she come to Bharat? Does she have academic qualification or any skills? Did she attempt any constructive work, engage in some hard work? She has fascists blood coursing through her veins, and yet has the audacity to call the BJP and Modi fascists. She was a waitress and an au pair – she came into Bharat with a well laid out scheme, into which Rajiv Gandhi fell.

She quietly but stealthily worked her way up. She is the great pretender. Posing as though she wants no power, she assimilated and accumulated all power; and her coterie headed by Mani Shankar Aiyer called that ‘renunciation’. She pretended that she is apolitical and fell back on her ‘inner voice’ to pick Manmohan Singh as the PM. Is that democracy?

Rahul Gandhi is simply off the track and thinks that he can play out his theatrics and gain power. Manmohan Singh’s choice was well planned and thought out by Sonia Gandhi – why did she not pick Pranab Mukerjee? She knew that Manmohan Singh will be a lame duck PM. So she started her regime as the defacto PM of this country. Is this democracy? Why did she form the National Advisory Council? What was its purpose and goal? To draft schemes according to her whims and fancies; to collect a coterie. The NAC, over which she presided, drafted schemes and those drafts she passed to the lame duck PM. So she had a mini Parliament functioning under her – is this democracy?

But then the Nehru-Gandhi (Ghandhi) family never understood democracy. How was Sonia Gandhi qualified to direct the PM of this country? How could RG walk into the PMO and demand the introduction of schemes? Is this democracy? What I sense is the low level of their attitude and resultant attack on Modi is caused by the envy of RG and Sonia Gandhi. They have fallen so low that they just cannot tolerate the strong PM that we now have. Modi is a threat to them and their loot. Not only did they loot the country, they allowed, abetted and tolerated their sycophants and coterie to do the same.

They just cannot tolerate the fact that Modi has a vision, that he works hard, that he is strong and that he knows what real governance is all about. Above all they do not believe in democracy and hence cannot think of a chai wallah performing so well, someone so well versed in governance and who makes Bharat proud.

Yet RG wants us to think that he is all for democracy. What you do not have you cannot give. How has Sonia Gandhi come to live in No. 10 Janpath? What right has she to live in it? Is this not one form of looting the poor? She is only an MP and as such is entitled only to a MP’s bungalow. Does she pay her water-electricity charges? Priyanka Vadra cannot be given a government bungalow in the name of security – she and her husband have enough money to hire their own private security. Is this not cheating the poor? How could Sonia Gandhi become one of the top ten richest women in the world? The nation must know.

And Rahul Gandhi shed’s crocodile tears for the poor – ‘I stand by you’. What is the use of his standing by the poor when the family is wading in luxury? Has he sweated out to earn at least one meal a day? Yet he has the hypocrisy to visit Kalavati and share rotis with her. Poor Rahul Gandhi – his pleasure hide outs are kept in great secrecy. Had Modi gone on a singly holiday, they would point fingers. How this RG is so hard-hearted that he deceives the farmers, the fishermen, the dalits and the poor – but keeps his jet-setting life style a secret.

Just by putting up a show, dressed in kurtas with rolled up sleeves, RG wants to mislead the poor. Is this not deception and a  farce, a pretension, a capital sin? This third rate criticism by him terming Modi’s Government ‘suit boot ki sarkar’ has given the lead to the wretched party, the Congress. Hence Anand Sharma criticizes Modi – that he changes his dress four times a day. So what tickles Sharma? The Congress forgets that when blood flowed on the roads of Mumbai after the terrorist attack of 26/11 the then Home Minister Shivraj Patel had time to change his dress four times a day….

Right from the beginning the Congress men/women spoke derisively of Modi. Why? Because he does not belong to that ‘hypocritical class’ to which they belong. Mani Shankar Aiyer, one of the sycophants of the family, even advised Modi not to dream of occupying the PM’s chair – ‘he will never never be able to unfurl the tricolor at Red Fort’, he prophesized. ‘If he wants he can come and serve tea to the AICC,’ Aiyer suggested. What arrogance. And this Mani Shankar Aiyer lost his deposit when he contested in Myiladathurai in TN. He wants to remain in New Delhi by hook or crook and towards this he will stoop to anything, including bashing of Modi and singing hosannas of the Nehru-Gandhi family. One must remember that he headed the ‘shouting brigade’, when Rajiv Gandhi was  the Opposition leader. This is the kind of sycophant that the Congress leaders groomed and surrounded themselves with.

No other PM has been personally attacked and criticized as Modi. Scant respect for one who is the democratically elected leader of this nation, is not becoming of any political party. When it stoops so, it simply means it is insulting the people who elected him – and for this Congress must apologize to the people. They are unable to bear the fact that Modi in just two years time has been hailed as a world statesman by almost all the world leaders.

RG wants us to believe that he is all for the poor, and hence a TV channel which conducted a SWOT analysis of him stated that his strength is his family name. I think that is his drag; he has to carry the baggage of that family which is a drag and a liability. He and his family are responsible for the poverty in this country. For 60 years, what did they do but kept the people in poverty? This was their vote bank constituency. Half-starved and with empty stomachs, these people were made to believe that crumbs from the high table will be thrown to them.

Shamelessly, the Nehru Gandhi family enjoyed the resources of the nation. Shamelessly, it appointed its own chamchas in all possible posts. As far as RG’s strengths are concerned, he has nil. Yes, he has a coterie and sycophants who cannot think outside the Nehru-Gandhi family and hence wants to install him as the nation’s leader. They are bankrupt of leadership. His opportunities will be the non-availability of strong leaders in other parties – he has only to contend with psychopaths and obsessive compulsive netas with their own vested interests like Kejriwal. RG‘s opportunity also lies in the poverty of the people. Hence he finds it befitting to pretend to be pro-poor – this would mean that the Congress must continue keeping the people poor, so that he will be able to lead them with false promises.

His threats are a strong PM as we have today, a mature democracy, a people who are today questioning and are aware of the omissions and commissions of the Nehru Gandhi family. The Nehru Gandhi family is solely responsible for all the woes we have today. As pointed out by TSR Subramanian in his article ‘Don’t join the debate’ (IE 24th Nov), ‘the Congress which had control of the economy for over 60 years brought the country to its knees and was primarily responsible for the hardships the populace’. How can Rahul Gandhi shed tears for the poor and why is he such a hypocrite in going around trying to project himself as the advocate and the champion of the poor? Is it not a farce and a shame? Nay, it is a grievous sin to be cheating the people like this.

The Congress was solely responsible for creating a shadow economy, for abetting corruption, and Sonia Gandhi’s appointee PM – the so-called ‘noted’ economist – has the gumption to call the demonetization organized loot and plunder etc. Had he an iota of honesty, he would have restrained himself because he presided over the most corrupt government we ever had. He just abetted and was silent, never moved a finger to arrest the loot and the corruption. Yet he speaks of organized loot and plunder. It is the greatest joke of the century for this ‘noted’ economist to blame the Modi government’s black money cleansing measure as loot and plunder. Yes, all agree to the motive but can disagree to the method. Then why had the ‘noted’ economist not suggested an alternative? Why had he not embarked on attacking corruption during his tenure? Manmohan Singh should know that his hands were tied but then he did not have the self-respect to resign when he was being used as a puppet. And now he faults Modi’s government.

A party which was and is seeped in corruption has no moral and political right to fault Modi’s attempt. True enough, there would be problems when a reform of such magnitude is being enforced. There is so much of opposition because most of the shadow economy is in the hands of those who do not want demonetization. Be it builders, jewellers, businessmen, estate owners and of course netas. Why was there so much of hard cash available in the hands of the people? Why were payments not made in cheques or through the banks. How can one explain the sack loads of currency – the lakhs of 1000 and 500 rupee notes in the hands of common people?

And there is invariably a sob story – ‘hospital expenses..daughter’s wedding’ etc. The media will swallow all this and think that these make headlines. Begum Mamata and RG weep because the poor are suffering. It seems that all the netas and the Opposition leaders have suddenly become aware that the poor are suffering, they have become so sensitive to the suffering of the poor. Are the poor a recent apparition and their suffering a new phenomenon? Were they not responsible for the suffering of the poor all these years? Is this their first instance when they face suffering? Are queues something new in Bharat? Are there not queues for for rations, for everything under the sun? Now for this cleansing of the economy, why not bear some suffering?

Right from the judiciary down to the local leaders, all are hurt that the poor are made to suffer. When justice is denied and when it takes years to get justice from the judiciary, nobody cries hoarse. It seems to me that those shouting themselves hoarse really do not want to tackle corruption and black money. Yet they keep demanding of Modi – ‘where is the black money?’ They should know better where it is.

As Rajiv Kumar has stated in his article ‘India’s golden moment’ (IE 25th Nov) that “demonetization is an ethical step. It can help us leave behind a culture of illegality, indiscipline, ill-gotten wealth”. But the Opposition does not want such an ethical step, not surprisingly. So why should it demand Modi to apologize? If the Opposition leaders are really keen on cleansing the system and wiping out the shadow economy, then why not help and support, instead why block and create more problems and spread all sorts of canards?

I believe that the Opposition leaders do uphold ethics and ethical conduct, both in public and private spheres. I believe that they do want a clean economy. I believe that they do want to rid the country of black money. I believe that they will then come to their senses and overcome this phase of blocking the ethical measure which Modi’s government has taken, and will extend full support because they want us all to believe that they all uphold ethics and are ethical in their outlook, in their actions and in their public lives.
