Acclaimed director Vivek Agnihotri’s production house Telling Tales has come out with a short video on how common citizens can contribute to stop black money from being generated.
The message delivered is simple – do as much of your daily transactions as possible through cashless methods, i.e cheque or digital transfer (credit/debit card, e-wallets, mobile payments etc). This is an effective way to remove the scourge of black money and bring more money into the formal economy, raising the Government’s tax base and capital availability for infrastructure and other development works.
The kicker though comes right at the end, where Pallavi Joshi warns us against the neighborhood ‘muffler-wala uncle’ and ‘Didi’ (oblique reference to Kejriwal and Mamta) who are trying to instigate us to oppose this change!
Earlier, Telling Tales had come out with a short video on the surgical strike undertaken by the Indian Army.
