It has been argued that all the major religions of the world share a common sense of ethics. They all teach us not to kill, not to steal, not to lie, to treat others well, to help the poor, and various other virtues acceptable to any sensitive human being. Such rules of respectful behavior form universal ethical principles and are found in many secular law codes as well. Even atheist humanists will honor them.
However, monotheistic belief-based religions teach another set of laws and principles that are purely theological in nature and can override these humanistic ethical principles, at times justifying violence and oppression. Such “religious law” or what could also be called “theological morality” teaches that if you don’t accept our particular belief in God, God will punish you, and in God’s name we true believers have the right to convert, punish or harm you as well.
The latest Islamist terror attack on France occurred when two IS (Islamic State) terrorists beheaded an 85 year old priest. Coming on the heels of the Nice massacre and the spate of recent attacks in Germany, reactions pouring in from across the world via social media indicate that common people are finally waking up to the terror apologists who have dominated global discourse on this issue till now.
This latest attack in France is the 11th Islamist terror attack carried out in France since January 2015. IS has claimed responsibility for both the priest beheading and the Nice attack. This is what the French Interior Minister had to say after the Nice attack –
“It seems that he radicalized his views very rapidly. These are the first elements that our investigation has come up with through interviews with his acquaintances,” Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said Saturday, without offering details.
“We are now facing individuals who are responding positively to the messages issued by the Islamic State without having had any special training and without having access to weapons that allow them to commit mass murder,” Cazeneuve said.”
Initial reports about the main attacker, 19 year old Adel Kermiche of Algerian descent, in the priest beheading say – “Adel Kermiche became radicalised in just three months and was pals with a French jihadi involved in the beheading of Americans in Syria, it has emerged. The son of a professor, Kermiche had been a normal sports-mad Simpsons fan who loved Rihanna. But he became radical after the slaughter at satirical mag Charlie Hebdo in Paris in January last year, which left 12 staff dead.”
Rise of Crowd-sourced Islamist Terror
It is now clear that IS (Islamic State) has evolved a new model of crowd-sourced terrorism, in which it issues messages through its sophisticated PR/social media machinery and a Muslim sitting anywhere in the world can decide to act on their general instructions without any formal link to the terror group. There has been a gradual rise of such Islamist terror attacks influenced but not materially aided by IS – San Bernardino, Dhaka, Nice and many other such examples of terror attacks abound. Most of the IS modules busted in Bharat too had no direct physical contact with the IS masterminds in Iraq/Syria.
But how can an educated, well-off Muslim with everything to thank their host modern, secular democracy like US, Britain, Bharat, France etc. get so radicalized over the internet, that he/she is willing to sacrifice their life and commit mass murder for the Islamist cause? This is only possible if there is an underlying base of religious fanaticismand religio-cultural precedent that the internet terror handlers exploit.
Roots of Islamism
It is the everyday Islam that thousands of mosques and Islamic televangelists preach, the endless narrative of Muslim persecution and victim-hood that Muslim media reports, the whitewashing of Islamic imperialism and its bloody conquests & the demonization of non-Muslims that Muslim countries teach in school, and the doctrine of supremacy and exclusivity that prevails in Muslim societies, that are responsible for creating fertile ground for terror recruiters.

Islamophobia – this terminology has become so widespread in the West that anyone who wants to critically examine Islam or Muslim societal behavior is immediately shut down by loud shouts of Islamophobia which has come to connote xenophobia and cultural racism.
Cultural relativism is a principle which emerged in Europe. It says that an individual person’s beliefs and activities should be understood by others in terms of that individual’s own culture. Hence, it is not politically correct for people in the West to question regressive Muslim practices like secondary status for women & non-Muslims, death for apostasy, harsh Sharia laws, polygamy, triple talaq, public slaughter of animals, proclivity to violence to ‘defend Islam’ etc. So while it is mainstream acceptable to question all other religions and doctrines in the West today – like Hindu Dharma, Christianity, Communism, Capitalism..Islam gets special treatment.
Politicization – The reasoning here is that Muslims are resorting to terror as they have been politically and militarily oppressed, especially by America and Israel in the Middle East. While it is true that American intervention and manipulation has destabilized large parts of the world, the Middle East is not alone in suffering from this phenomenon. US interventions and staged coups have done greater damage in America’s immediate neighborhood as countries like Haiti, Panama, Chile, Cuba, Colombia etc will testify. Even Bharat has not been immune to American machinations and the perverse American love for a terror-sponsoring nation like Pakistan. But does that mean Latin Americans should take to terror across the world to end American meddling in their countries? While the so-called ‘Arab Spring’ was celebrated as a sign of organic sprouting of Muslim democracy, why did the Egyptian public vote a radical, fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood in to power? Why is Turkey now turning to quasi-dictatorship under Erdogan? And why does the spiritual homeland of Muslims, Saudi Arabia, continue to discriminate against non-Muslims and export its dangerous Wahhabi ideology across the world? Is it wrong to ask Muslims to introspect on these points? Playing perpetual victim is easy, reforming from within is not.
Illiteracy and Poverty are also given as reasons for young Muslims turning to terror. But aren’t their dispossessed Hindus, Christians and Buddhists in the world? If this logic were to hold true, then Kashmiri Hindus, who in their own country were expelled by their Muslim neighbours, should have been the first to turn to terror. Just like Maoists indoctrinate poor, young minds with their murderous class-war ideas, Islamists indoctrinate young minds with their murderous religious-war jihad ideology. When the former is criticized (except by the extreme left ideologues like Kavita Krishnan), why aren’t the latter? Moreover, what explains educated, young Muslims from well to-do families giving up everything to join jihad? IS (Islamic State) has approximately 6,000 fighters from Europe – mostly from France, Germany, UK, Belgium. Were the Dhaka attackers poor, or the Bhatkal brothers who founded ‘Indian Mujahideen’, or Faisal Shahzad the Pakistani Times Square bomber, or Mohammed Atta the lead 9/11 terrorist?

Muslim extremists in Pakistan have started killing Hindu boys to avenge an alleged Quran desecration incident for which a Hindu man was arrested yesterday. The two Hindu boys have been shot at Mirpur Mathelo , Ghotki district, Sindh province – Sateesh Kumar was shot in the back and died, while Avinash has been seriously wounded.
“Out of the two young Hindu boys, Sateesh Kumar s/o Anoop Kumar has been killed while another boy Avinash has been seriously wounded and is the son of Chetan Das.

A young Muslim writer was assaulted by 4 people – Jaffar and three unidentified men – in the Palakkad district of Kerala for allegedly insulting God in the title of his new collection of short stories.
The incident took place on Sunday night. Reports said that 26-year-old P Jimshar was attacked when he was waiting at a bus-stop at Koottanadu in the district. Jimshar’s collection of short stories – ‘Padachonte Chithra Pradarshanam’ (God’s Photo Exhibition) – is slated for release on August 5. The word ‘Padachon’ means Allahu (God/Creator) in Malayalam.
In an interview to a Pakistani TV channel ZemTV, terrorist mastermind Hafiz Saeed has criticized the Modi Government for defaming him & Pakistan as a ploy to cover up its ‘terrorist acts’, while in the same breath praising Congress and NDTV anchor Barkha Dutt as ‘good’ elements in Bharat.

In Kashmir, when one fine Friday afternoon calls for Jihad against Kafirs were made from religious places, the whole of Bharat was caught napping. Kashmiri Pandits suffered in an allegedly secular Bharat, with their temples desecrated, houses destroyed, lands usurped, women raped and unspeakable atrocities against a section of population whose only crime was that they were Hindus.
Back then people depended on newspapers and Doordarshan for news, and if they didn’t cover an event , the event simply had not happened for the wide majority of masses. The atrocities on Pandits were largely censored by the press, and also the despicable cruelty in the name of Jihad. Tragically, this censorship on crimes against Hindus continues to this day, as can be gauged from the fact that this horrific crime in Amravati, Maharashtra that happened a few days ago has still not been covered in any national media.
After 25 years of Jihad in Kashmir, another state is going the Kashmir way. This time its Kerala where minorities Christians and Muslims constitute more than half of the Kerala population. Worse is the situation in Northern Kerala often termed as Malabar.
What if tomorrow a group of Hindus encroached the land of a mosque, blocked the way to the mosque and don’t allow Muslims to offer Friday prayers or the Namaz five times a day. Needless to say, the entire region would have faced riots and also the persons who blocked the way to mosque would be in jail, if not already subjected to beheading by the believers.
To know what is the real situation on ground, come to Muslim majority district of Malappuram in Kerala. Here there is a 1000 year old Sankara Narayana temple, in Kalpakancherry in Tirur Taluk. The temple owns 34 cents of land. The temple is in ruins having suffered the wrath of believers in 1921 and subsequent riots against Hindus. Hamsakutty, a Muslim who lives near the temple claims that 30 of the 34 cents of the temple land is his. And to seize the property, he along with others constructed a fence and blocked entry of Hindus for worship to the temple.

What happened next? Actually nothing, until Kshethra Bhumi Samrakshana Vedhi (KBSV) entered the scene with one devotee calling KBSV’s Vice Chairman Ratnakaran requesting help. The next day Ratnakaran along with other KBSV activists visited the scene and made local enquires on the same.
It was very clear that the Muslim who was blocking the way to the temple had support of Muslim organisations like Muslim League, as well as Jihadi outfits in the region. Also, every bureaucrat who had a say in the matter was siding with the encroacher. Vice Chairman Ratnakaran then moved legally on all available forums and held meetings with the District Collector, Police Superintendant and also other revenue officials. It was made clear that the authorities will be made responsible for any law and order situation if they allow this assault on Hindu right to religious freedom.
On 16.7.2016, the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) held a meeting with all parties including Hamsakutty. Religious fanatics were of the view that they can only confirm any decision in the meeting after discussing with the local mosque committee. It was objected to by Hindus as a mosque committee can’t decide on matter of blocking of a Hindu temple.
Finally RDO issued orders allowing temporary relief for Hindus. Hindus are allowed entry and prayers inside Narayana temple for 30 days, after which a final order will be pronounced on the matter.
This is indeed a success for Kerala Hindus, as Malappuram is a district where many Hindu organisations prefer to placate and compromise with Jihadis, rather than take them head on. Vice Chairman Ratnakaran of KBSV exhorted Hindus of Malappuram to be brave and protect Hindu Dharma and their right to religious worship.

A 19-year-old newly married Hindu woman was molested by four Muslims – Nadeem, Suheil, Ismail and Danish – on Wednesday night which led to a clash between the two communities. Deeply insecure due to many such incidents over the years, many Hindu families in the Babri Mandi area of Aligarh are now contemplating migrating to safer areas.
In a shocking escape attempt by a cow smuggler in Amravati, Maharashtra, a family of 3 were killed and more than 40 people injured, when he drove his truck on high speed hitting at least 12 cars from Warud to Chandur Bazar, while trying to escape police on 21st July.
In what seems like a smaller version of the Nice jihadi attack in France, though for a different purpose, this truck driver too kept on driving recklessly for a distance of about 65 kilometers, beginning from breaking the police barricades in Warud, before finally getting caught. His accomplice too has been arrested – the police has not revealed their names yet. The police force was tipped off by gau rakshaks (cow protection volunteers) who decided not to take the matter in their own hands but informed the police. At the time of writing this article, there is not even a single news report in English mainstream media about this incident.
The 3 killed were all members of the same family: husband, wife and their 3 year old child. One young girl sitting in the same car is critically injured and struggling for her life in ICU.

The general population of Hindus in Amravati was furious over the loss of lives and severe damage to property and had come out on roads to protest when some policemen even did a lathi charge on them to clear the protesters. Hindupost talked to those on the ground and it seems that Mr. Vijay Sharma, VHP Vidarbha State Gau Raksha Pramukh, had already submitted 3 applications to district authorities this year requesting them to control rampant cow smuggling, specially the trucks that come from Madhya Pradesh. The smuggling is for slaughtering purpose which is illegal in Maharshtra and against the Directive Principles of the Constitution of Bharat.

While simple cases of what most media and elites term as ‘Cow Vigilantism’ are quickly covered and repeatedly telecast in mainstream English media, a grave incident such as the above in Amravati has not seen any space in English channels/dailies. Most media is quick to term the cow smugglers/drivers of such vehicles as ‘beef transporters’ like in the recent case of 2 such men who were indeed found carrying 300 kilos of beef in their car by gau rakshaks. Beef trade is illegal in Haryana, as it is in 24 out of 29 states of Bharat, and a laboratory test confirmed that the 300 kilos of meat found in this case was indeed beef. These 2 smugglers were arrested by police on June 10, but most media still chose to call them as ‘beef transporters’.
In another recent incident, Muslim cow smugglers with multiple criminal cases on them had shot 2 cow protection volunteers in Haryana, injuring them seriously. The news brought to light the fact that genuine cow protection volunteers suffer serious risks for this Dharmic cause which is also consistent with our laws and Constitution, besides being a serious animal rights issue seeing the grotesque torture cattle suffer in this illegal trade. Moreover, for the skeptics, there is incontrovertible scientific evidence regarding the damaging effect of beef (cow meat) for human health and the environment.
It is important to differentiate that while cow slaughter and beef trade is illegal in most of Bharat, it is legal to skin dead cows to produce leather, and there are many traditional communities in Bharat which make a living through this. A genuine gau rakshak knows this difference, and respects it. English media and Adarsh Liberals prefer to gloss over this crucial fact; conflating the two separate issues of cow slaughter for beef and skinning of dead cows for leather makes their job of demonizing Hindus and dismissing all anti-cow slaughter volunteers as violent vigilantes, much easier.
The more recent incident of ‘Cow Vigilantism’ in Una, Gujarat (which happens to be a Congress stronghold within Gujarat) raises many concerns and seems like a well-thought out strategy in the wake of approaching UP elections. The shocking observations which establish that this incident could well be a set up by ‘secular’ parties are covered in this write up. No Hindu in their sane mind would assault Dalits for skinning dead cows, specially when this is their profession since generations. The perpetrators were Darbar by caste and a form a strong group in Gujarat Congress.
3 of the 4 perpetrators and 3 of the 4 suspended negligent cops in the Una violence against Dalits incidence are Darbars.
A cop even died in the violence perpetuated by ‘protesters’ post the incident. The orchestrated manner of protests in Gujarat, the synchronized outcry across media, and the outbreak of op-eds and articles forecasting the political impact of this incident on UP elections, all hint at a well-planned political campaign to divide Hindus.
One ‘Gau Rakshak’ who thrashed Dalits in Una is a Muslim. Though many Muslims advocate following the law over illegal cow slaughter, it is interestingly unusual that a Muslim ‘gau rakshak’ chose to beat Dalits for skinning dead cows:

Coming back to the Amravati incident, millions of Bharatiya citizens expect the Maharashtra and MP governments to not leave any stone unturned in bringing down the entire cow smuggling mafia.
