6 Hindu girls abducted & forcibly converted to Islam in a single day in Sindh, Pakistan

Abduction and forced conversion of 6 Hindu girls in different areas of Sindh province in Pakistan was reported in a single day earlier this month.

The first incident occurred in Karachi, when a young Hindu girl named Parsan Maheshwari d/o Morji was abducted from Ghulam Shah Lane, Liyari area of Karachi and converted to Islam against her will. Her loved ones reported her disappearance to the police, but nothing has been done.

The second incident was the abduction and forced conversion to Islam of a young Hindu girl from Kolhi community in Mirpurkhas. Her loved ones also reported her disappearance to the authorities, but nothing was done as per initials reports.

In the third case, a Hindu girl named Hina Maharaj (16), d/o Kasturo Maharaj from Samaro was kidnapped and converted to Islam against her will. Hina became Fatima and married off to her abductor. This incident sparked widespread terror and anxiety among the local Hindu population.

Hina’s family and local Hindu community recorded a strong protest in front of the Press Club Samaro, demanding the recovery of their daughter.

A fourth Hindu girl Tooti Maheshwari from Kario Ghawar, Badin became yet another victim of forced conversion that day. She was kidnapped by unknown persons and remains untraced.

In the fifth case reported from Jhole town of Sanghar district, Hindu minor girl named Ganga Bheel was kidnapped and converted to Islam against her will. Ganga’s family filed a petition in court, which sent Ganga to dar-ul-aman (shelter home). Most girls in such shelter homes are not allowed to meet their parents, while their abductors manage to get access and intimidate them into giving coached statements in court. It is very rare that a girl is sent back to her parents by Pakistani judiciary.

The sixth incident occurred in Matli, Badin district, when a young Hindu girl named Resham Kolhi was kidnapped and converted to Islam against her will. Both the Hindu community and human rights advocates have spoken out against this case.

At least 1000 Hindu girls are abducted, converted to Islam and forced to live as sex slaves every year in Sindh province alone.

This brutal genocide of a helpless minority is completely ignored by international bodies, especially the Western-run human rights groups and governments. America and its allies are currently demonizing Bharat for an ‘impending Muslim genocide’, but ignoring the actual genocide going on in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Neither has the secular Republic of India bothered to raise this issue as effectively as it should.
