Hindu youth Yugveer Arjav became the target of bloodthirsty Islamists who issued Sar Tan Se Juda (STSJ) after an edited clip of his went viral on social media (SM). Yugveer blamed POCSO-accused Islamist propagandist Zubair for the STSJ threats he is getting. In view of the threats, Yugveer has sought protection from the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government.

Varanasi businessman Yugveer gets deaths threats

Yugveer is a businessman from UP’s Varanasi. He had uploaded a video that he later deleted keeping public sentiments in mind. However, Zubair, who dog-whistled Islamists against Nupur Sharma, retweeted Yugveer’s edited video that triggered a torrent of abuses and death threats against Yugveer.

Yugveer while speaking to OpIndia on April 19 confirmed that he had been receiving threats after his two-month-old video was deliberately trimmed and shared in a bid to provoke Islamists against him. Two months ago he made a funny video and posted the same on Facebook (FB). Despite the fact that the contents of the video were quoted from Islami books, some people took offence to it. Following this, Yugveer kept public sentiments in mind and even deleted the video.

However, vested interests wrongly edited and publicised the video in a manner that would suit their propaganda in UP’s hostile situation. Detailing the hostile situation, Yugveer highlighted the tension that had gripped the state after mafia don Atiq Ahmed’s murder. He pointed out that his old video was edited and made viral after adding objectionable pictures. The edited video was circulated with the aim of spreading tension. Yugveer also named Islamist propagandist Zubair who he says played a major role in spreading the edited video.

Holding the POCSO accused responsible, Yugveer says he has been getting STSJ threats from Bharat and abroad after Zubair retweeted it. Yugveer is receiving threatening calls from numbers belonging to Saudi Arabia among others. Sometimes a threat says ‘Sar Tan Se Juda‘, and at others, the message reads ‘only a few days left’.

Yugveer added that he received threatening calls from people claiming to be policemen and some called him claiming to be lawyers saying an FIR (First Information Report) had been lodged against him. Yugveer said he was distressed, mentally disturbed, and scared due to these threats so much so that he has not even slept for the last 72 hours.

The Nupur Sharma saga

Readers may recall how Islamist propagandist Mohammad Zubair had put former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s life under threat for merely defending the insult of Hindu Bhagwan Shiva. The propagandist shared an edited clip of Nupur’s TV debate with Taslim Rahmani where the latter constantly provoked Nupur by passing insulting comments on the Shivling.

Nupur Sharma participated in a debate on recent findings of the presence of Shivling in the Gyanvapi complex in Times Now on May 27 last year. Many HINOs on social media mocked the findings of the court-appointed survey committee by comparing the Shivling with nuclear reactors, barricades, etc while Muslims continued to insist that it is a fountain. The pattern continued in the Times Now debate as well and Nupur relied on Islamic scriptures to respond in the same coin.

“Should I start mocking claims of flying horses or the flat-earth theory as mentioned in your Quran? You are marrying a 6-year-old girl and having sex with her when she turned 9. Who did it? Prophet Muhammad. Should I start saying all these things that are mentioned in your scriptures?”, she said when Taslim Ahmed Rehmani, one of the panellists heckled her while talking about how abrahamics have been mocking Hindu deities. It is clear that she talked about Muhammad only after the other panellists mocked Hindu deities.

But alt-news co-founder and POCSO accused Zubair Mohammed shared the clip of her speech to make it look like she did it to provoke the Muslim community. It is to be noted that she neither interpreted something on her own nor invented a new story like abrahamics do while denigrating Hindu deities. She had merely said what is already written in the Islamic religious scriptures. Yet Muslims descended on her TL to issue death threats not only to her but to her family as well.

However, it was not only Nupur Sharma but also many common Hindus who fell to the bloodlust of the Islamists while several Hindus received death and STSJ threats. Islamists have run amok in the country and are using Nupur Sharma’s statement as an excuse to unleash violence against Hindus. There have been at least two murders over this blasphemy madness.

Medical professional Umesh Kolhe was brutally murdered on June 21 last year in Maharashtra’s Amravati for forwarding a message supporting Nupur. He was betrayed by his ‘friend’ Yusuf Khan. Last June, two Islamic terrorists brutally hacked Hindu tailor Kanhaiyalal Teli in Udaipur to death for an alleged social media post supporting former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.

However, a score of other attacks have gone virtually unnoticed – 26-year-old Sriram was assaulted in Solapur, Bajrang Dal worker Ayush Jadam was attacked in MP’s Agar Malwa district, Ankit Jha was stabbed in Bihar, tea seller Deepak was attacked in Bihar. Apart from these physical attacks, dozens of people have been threatened, and some were even forced to flee their city. The Supreme Court’s diatribe against Nupur for ‘setting the country on fire’, while absolving the Islamists who are resorting to violence has emboldened the fanatics to no end. 

Yugveer is not the only one whose life has been put under threat by fanatic Islamists. Recently, Islamists raised the Sar Tan Se Juda (STSJ) slogan targeting Hindu activist Kajal Shingla on March 31 at Gir Somnath District’s Una town. They accused the activist of delivering an ‘anti-Muslim’ speech during the Ram Navami Shobha Yatra on March 30.

Videos of the incident went viral on social media. As soon as a video of her speech was posted online, Islamists like propagandist Zubair and Hinduphobic handle Hindutva Watch began provoking their coreligionists by twisting her words just like they did with Nupur Sharma.

These cases highlight how Islamists, HINOs, and others from the cabal have normalized STSJ threats.
