Minor Hindu girl Bindiya Meghwar abducted in Sindh, Pakistan

A minor #Hindu girl, Bindiya Meghwar has been abducted for forced conversion and ‘marriage’ in Khairpur, Sindh province, Pakistan, reports Voice of Pakistan Minority.

Yesterday morning, a group of Hindus participated in a protest organised by Pakistan Darawer itehad against such kidnapping of minor Hindu girls from Sindh and an abduction of a girl from Mirpur Khas in particular.

Most of Pakistan still operates in a medieval feudal mode. While abductions of Hindu and other minority religion girls is condoned by the system, even Muslim girls are not safe there. Last month, over 20 men, some of them carrying firearms, broke into a house in Mirpur Khas, ransacked it, collected cash and other valuables and kidnapped two girls aged 19 and 14, one of them married, at gunpoint. The girls were gangraped and tortured by several men before being rescued in a police raid a day later.

In the case of Hindu girls, police raids for recovery are unheard of, and even courts usually end up siding with abductors.

Appeal to readers

We request all our readers to share this report with your public representatives – MP, MLA, councilor – and favorite celebrities like film stars and cricketers, and request them to speak up for Bindiya Meghwar and her family. That is the least we can do for our poor Hindu brothers and sisters living in a hostile Islamic nation like Pakistan.

Our elected representatives must ask Govt. of Bharat to raise the issue with Pakistan government for prompt action. Readers can also raise the case with international bodies like UN and human rights orgs to hold Pakistan accountable and stop these atrocities on Hindus.

Please keep Bindiya in your daily prayers. ॐ
