Another Muslim delivery man arrested for molesting woman customer, this time in Mumbai

Two days after a South Korean YouTuber was sexually harassed in upscale Khar suburb of Mumbai by 2 Muslim youth, another shocking incident has come to light in which a woman was molested by a Muslim delivery person from Zepto at her residence.

The incident occurred in Khar West on November 30. The woman narrated the ordeal she faced on her Instagram page. She alleged that the delivery person named Shahzade Shaikh, first tried to record her video while handing over the parcel. When she objected, he tried to barge into her home by pushing her and started misbehaving with her and hurled expletives. The woman was saved by her society’s security guard after she called for help from the kitchen.

Here is what the woman posted on Instagram –

“So here is what happened on 30-11-2022, 3:10 pm at my doorstep, I ordered groceries from @zeptonow the delivery guy (name: shahzade Shaikh & his image attached ) came to deliver the order, it was a cod and while I was making the payment in his google pay, he started recording a video of me as he wishes and when I got a doubt I asked him, “ are you taking a photo or something?” he started giggling I was like “ what’s happening with me here “, then when I asked him to show me his phone he refused to show and finally, after a point he opened his phone and tried to delete that video when I asked him to show me that video or else I’ll call my security(I was home alone at that time ).

Then he started coming on to me, he came inside my home without my permission, he pushed me and held my hand, started misbehaving with me and abused me. I felt so horrible and I quickly ran into my kitchen to call my security through the kitchen window after the security came also the delivery guy is not listening he was coming onto me and finally my security stopped him and took his phone and gave it to me, I saw the video he recorded THIS IS NOT AT ALL OKAY WITH ME”

my security saved me yesterday imagine what if my security wasn’t there? I legit don’t even have safety at my home? How can I trust any online platform after this? @zeptonow is this how you guys provide customer service? Seriously? This incident happened at my doorstep in Khar west, Mumbai. @zeptonow I don’t know how many women are facing this issue because of your delivery guys like this. @zeptonow is responsible for all this, you sent such a kind of person to my doorstep hence I had to go through all this, There is no safety for women who placed an order from your platform.”

The accused was arrested after the woman filed a complaint with the police. He will be produced before a Bandra court later on Friday.

Shockingly, even though Zepto tweeted a public statement assuring ‘stringent action and full cooperation with law enforcement’ over this issue, it is now being reported that they actually sent 3 representatives to the woman’s house who tried to coax her to ‘compromise’ and not pursue a legal case.

Islamist predation and objectification of women, dehumanization of ‘kafirs’

In September, Zomato delivery man Raees Shaikh (40) was arrested after he molested an engineering student at her home in Kondhwa, Pune. Around the same time, Swiggy executive Sheikh Amer was accused of murdering cook Shiva Prasad over a delayed order. In December 2020, food delivery agent Nazir Mohammad was arrested in Mangaluru for putting up graffiti threatening Hindus and hailing Islamic terror

Even delivering to Muslim customers can be fraught for risk, due to extreme radicalization and much higher propensity for violence among the ‘minority’ community. In August, two Muslim brothers shot dead pizza delivery executive Sachin Kashyap in UP for not accepting a torn Rs 200 note.

Multiple cases of crimes and sexual violence by Muslim vendors, service providers and even educated professionals – bike taxi drivers, plumbers, tile layers, paper delivery boy, mobile shop workers, doctors – have come to light. During the peak of the pandemic, several cases of fruit sellers, biryani sellers, vegetable vendors, cooks, bakery shop workers deliberately spitting or urinating on their produce while selling to Hindu customers had come to light.

During the hijab controversy, we saw the ugly Islamist mindset out in the open with posters abusing Hindus for ‘letting their daughters roam naked’ and comparing non-hijab wearing girls as ‘unwrapped candy being devoured by ants’. Any time a female celebrity posts something on social media which doesn’t conform to Islamist standards, the sheer bigotry and abusive comments that follow is another demonstration of the Talibani attitudes that are thoroughly rampant in the Indian Muslim community.

Yet, when Hindu customers try to take preventive action to safeguard their near and dear ones, the left-liberal-Islamist ecosystem paints them as ‘bigots’ & gets them arrested, instead of introspecting on what is driving so many Muslims to such inappropriate behavior? Not one question is asked of the Islamist clerics and community leaders who are indoctrinating Muslim minds with notions of supremacism, misogyny, anti-Hindu hate and sheer unscientific bigotry. This topic has been declared taboo by our secular-liberal elites, and even bringing it up is met with loud howls of ‘communalism’ & ‘Islamophobia’.

Delivery companies like Swiggy, Zomato never tire of exhibiting their wokeness and subtly shaming Hindus, instead of tightening up processes around background verification & behavioral training of their employees.

For that matter, even hijab-wearing girls or burqa-clad female teachers are not safe from Islamist bullies and predators. This is an issue which affects all of us, and even young, rational Muslim voices who want to address these issues within their community are also being ignored or stifled by our Hinduphobic elites.

  1. This is precisely the kind of thing that will become increasingly frequent as Muslims get more access to Hindu women using the service economy. Remember, this access is central to their religious doctrine: it is their reward for being good momeens.
