Swiggy executive Sheikh Amer kills cook Shiva Prasad over delayed order: Hyderabad

Swiggy delivery boy Sheikh Amer reportedly stabbed cook Shiva Prasad after a fight between the two following delay in delivering the order. The attack took place late at night on September 15. Shiva Prasad was admitted to NIMS hospital after sustaining injuries but died subsequently.

Shiva Prasad was a cook at Nanakramguda apartment. A fight ensued between Amer and Shiva on September 8 as there was a delay in preparing the food ordered by Sai Sri. Reports also state the two entered into a fight. However, Shiva sustained serious injuries and was immediately rushed to the hospital. Amer fled the crime scene.

The victim is a resident of Serilingampally’s Gulmohar Park and was working at Nanakramguda’s Golf Edge Apartments for the past eight months at KVS Bhaskar’s residence. Sai Sri had placed an order for sweets from a shop in Banjara Hills that was to be delivered to Bhaskar’s house. Amer delayed the delivery by about two hours as he was allegedly confused with the address. In the meanwhile, Sai Sri had been constantly calling the delivery boy and the two had an argument on the phone.

When he delivered the item, Amer got into an argument with Shiva Prasad who collected the delivery. The Swiggy executive then picked up the vegetable knife lying on the dining table and assaulted Shiva Prasad who received multiple injuries on his cheeks, chin and chest. The accused fled from the place after the attack.
