झारखंड में अंकिता की मृत्यु के बाद भी हिन्दू लड़कियों पर हमले के मामले थम नहीं रहे हैं, बल्कि और तेजी से बढ़ते आ रहे हैं। एक बहुत ही दिल को झकझोरने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जिसमें एक नाबालिग लड़की को पहले तो नाम बदलकर अपने प्यार के जाल में फंसाया और फिर जब लड़की के सामने सच आया तो लड़की को बहुत ही खौफनाक तरीके से मारने की योजना बनाई।

उसने लड़की को कुँए में धक्का दे दिया और उस पर पत्थर भी मारे, मगर यह लड़की का सौभाग्य था कि वह बच गयी और किसी प्रकार अपने घर पहुँची! परन्तु इतनी बड़ी घटना पर भी लोग मौन है! वह सभी एक्टिविस्ट जो मेंढक की तरह चिल्लाते हैं, वह मौन हैं, क्योंकि काम रब्बानी अंसारी ने किया है।

एक सन्नाटा है, एक चुप्पी है! किसी तक भी उस लड़की पर पड़े पत्थरों की आवाज या पीड़ा नहीं पहुँच पा रही है, और पहुंचेगी भी क्यों? क्योंकि नैतिक रूप से स्वयं को श्रेष्ठ मानने वाले लोग यह कहेंगे कि लड़कियों की गलती है, क्यों दोस्ती की? आखिर क्या जरूरत थी दोस्ती करने की?

परन्तु वही वर्ग इस बात पर ध्यान क्यों नहीं देता है कि क्या लडकियां हिन्दू लड़कों से भी बातें करना बंद कर दें? इस घटना में रब्बानी अंसारी अपने असली नाम से उस लड़की से नहीं मिला। वह उससे साजन उरांव बनकर मिला था। और यह बात सभी को पता है कि वनवासी समाज में खुलापन अधिक होता है क्योंकि वहां पर निश्छलता है! भारत में हिन्दुओं में लड़कियों को कैद में रखने की परम्परा रही ही नहीं है। संवाद का दौर रहा है, तभी लडकियां अपने जीवन का निर्णय लेने के लिए सोच पाती थीं।

परन्तु एक कबीलाई सोच है, वह नहीं चाहती कि कोई खुली आवाज इस दुनिया में रहे! वह नहीं चाहती है कि कोई भी लड़की उस दुनिया में सड़कों पर घूमे, खुले आसमान को ताके और यहाँ तक कि दुनिया को अपनी नजर से देखे! वह काले लबादे में कैद कर देना चाहती है, हर लड़की को! अफगानिस्तान में जहाँ लड़कियों को आसमान नसीब ही नहीं होता है! ईरान में जहाँ पर यह धमकियां दी जा रही हैं, कि हिजाब नहीं पहना तो आदमी तुम्हारा बलात्कार कर देंगे?

अफगानिस्तान में एक वरिष्ठ हक्कानी अधिकारी की बीवी का वीडियो वायरल हो रहा है, जो यह कह रही है कि वह उसे पीटता है, हर रत उसके साथ बलात्कार करता है, और यह उस औरत के आख़िरी शब्द हो सकते हैं, वह उसे मार डालेगा ।

इतना ही नहीं वहां पर आम लडकियां भी सुरक्षित नहीं है, माँ की आँखों के सामने तालिबान ने उसकी दो बेटियों का बलात्कार किया था

क्या यही वह सोच है, जो किसी भी रब्बानी अंसारी को एक नाबालिग पर ऐसा अत्याचार करने के लिए उकसाती है? और जब असलियत जानकर वह लड़की विरोध करती है, तो उसे कुँए में धकेल कर उस पर पत्थर मारे जाते हैं कि वह मर जाए?

यह किस हद तक राक्षसी मानसिकता है?                     

इस लड़की का भाग्य अच्छा था कि वह बच गयी। झारखंड के लोहरदगा जिले में रहने वाली नाबालिग बच्ची रब्बानी अंसारी की हवस का भी शिकार हुई है। रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार 17 साल की लड़की के पास 6 महीने पहले एक अनजान नंबर से कॉल आया और उसने अपना नाम साजन उरांव बताया। उसके बाद वह उसे लगातार कॉल करने लगा। दोस्ती की बात करने लगा। लड़की भी उसके झांसे में आ गयी।

*यहाँ पर यह बात ध्यान देने वाली है कि रब्बानी ने अपना नाम साजन उरांव अर्थात वहीं का स्थानीय बताया था। अर्थात नाम बदलकर दोस्ती के जाल में फंसाया था। जैसे अंकिता को उसके मरने के बाद “तस्वीरों” के माध्यम से बदनाम करने का कुप्रयास किया गया, एवं यह प्रमाणित करने का कुचक्र रचा गया कि वह तो शाहरुख़ से प्यार करती थी और प्यार में झगड़ा होने पर उसने जला दिया!

क्या यही कहानी इस लडकी के साथ भी दोहराई जानी थी? यह मात्र जिज्ञासा है, क्योंकि कहीं न कहीं शाहरुख को बचाने वाला गैंग इसमें भी सक्रिय होता और साजन उरांव के रूप में जो निकटता थी, जिसका वीडियो भी उसने वायरल कर दिया था, वह गैंग कहता कि लड़की तो खुद प्यार करती थी “रब्बानी से”, यह प्यार में तकरार का मामला है!

प्यार में धोखा खाकर कोई भी पागल हो जाएगा, इस कारण उसने क़त्ल कर दिया होगा? जैसा अंकिता के मामले में हमने देखा कि अंकिता की मृत्यु एवं शाहरुख पर कसते शिकंजे के बीच अंकिता और शाहरुख की तस्वीरें वायरल हुईं। अब प्रश्न यह उठता है कि अंकिता तो चार पांच दिनों तक जूझती रही थी और शाहरुख को दोषी ठहराती रही थी, तो ऐसे में उन दिनों में वह तस्वीरें वायरल क्यों नहीं हुईं?

और इन तस्वीरों को वायरल करके यह भी दावा किया जाने लगा था कि अंकिता की हत्या उसके घरवालों ने ही तो नहीं की है? अंकिता ने मरते मरते जो बयान दिया था, उसे भी झुठलाने का षड्यंत्र रच दिया गया और मीडिया तक में आने लगा कि “मामले में आया नया मोड़!”

यह कैसा नया मोड़ हो सकता है? बिना जांच के क्या कोई तस्वीरों को सच ठहरा सकता है? नया मोड़ यह था कि किसी भी तरह इन तस्वीरों के माध्यम से शाहरुख को निकालकर अंकिता के परिवार को ही हॉनर किलिंग के केस में फंसा दिया जाए!

यह एक जाल है, बहुत बड़ा जाल! जिसमें अब नाबालिग लडकियां निशाना हैं। कभी अंकिता को फंसाया जाएगा, नहीं मानेगी तो उसे मार डाला जाएगा और कभी साजन उरांव बनकर फंसाया जाएगा, वीडियो वायरल किया जाएगा, मगर वह पल लड़की ने किसी रब्बानी के साथ नहीं बल्कि साजन उरांव के साथ बिताए थे, और रब्बानी का बचाव करने वाले लोग उन्हीं वीडियो और फोटों के माध्यम से उस लड़की और उसके घरवालों को दोषी ठहराएंगे!

जैसा अंकिता के मामले में करने का प्रयास किया गया!

इस मामले में लड़की द्वारा पूरा मामला बताए जाने पर आरोपी रब्बानी को हिरासत में ले लिया गया है। मीडिया के अनुसार

पीड़िता ने कहा कि आरोपी ने खुद को अनुसूचित जनजाति (ST) बताया था। इसके बाद वह फोन पर बात करने लगा। उसने बताया था कि वह पेशे से सिंगर है। लड़की उसकी बातों में आ गयी और फिर उसे रांची बुलाकर फरवरी से जुलाई माह तक कई किराए के मकान में रख उसके साथ कई बार शारीरिक संबंध बनाया। इसी बीच लड़की को उसका असली नाम रबानी अंसारी और उसके शादीशुदा होने का भी पता चल गया। इसके बाद लड़की ने विरोध जताना शुरू कर दिया। इस बीच आरोपी लड़के ने उसके साथ अंतरंग वीडियो भी बना लिया था, जिसे उसने नाबालिग पर दबाव बनाने के लिए वायरल कर दिया।

विरोध करने पर लड़की को कुँए में धकेलकर पत्थर मारे, मगर लड़की किसी तरह बच गयी और वहां से भागकर किसी तरह लोहरदगा पहुँची और फिर लोहरदगा के डीएसपी परमेश्वर प्रसाद ने बताया कि लोहरदगा महिला थाना कांड संख्या 26/ 2022 में भादवि की धारा 376, 427, 379, 417, 307 और सिक्स पोक्सो एक्ट के तहत केस दर्ज कर पुलिस ने आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है

 नजर लड़कियों पर है, नजर काफिरों की कोख पर है, नजर पीढ़ी मिटाने पर है! समय ऐसी बच्चियों के साथ खड़ा होने का है! समय अंकिता को न्याय दिलाने का है, समय कोख पर विमर्श का है!

BJP’s Giriraj Singh demands survey of mosques, madrasas in Bihar

Firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Union Minister, Giriraj Singh has demanded a survey of madrasas and mosques in Bihar similar to that in Uttar Pradesh.

“We demanded from the Nitish Kumar government to conduct survey on the madrasas and mosques of Bihar, especially in Muslim-dominated Seemanchal region. We must have data about who are running madrasas and mosques in these regions and who are staying in them,” Singh said.

“The Yogi Adityanath government has taken the right decision and is conducting the survey of madrasas and mosques in Uttar Pradesh. We need the approach in Bihar as well to check at least those who are taking shelters in madrasas and mosques,” the Union MInister added.

Seemanchal region of Bihar is considered Muslim dominant area of Bihar where more than 60 per cent population belongs to Muslim community. Moreover, a large number of Rohingya and Bangladeshi nationals are also residing there illegally.

Chandrachud-led SC bench declines Suvendu Adhikari’s petition to transfer case out of WB, same SC had transferred Kamlesh Tiwari murder trial

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to entertain a plea by BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari seeking transfer of the election petition filed by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee out of West Bengal.

A bench of Justices D.Y. Chandrachud and Hima Kohli said: “We will not allow this choice of high courts. The high court which has jurisdiction…. let it try the matter there.”

It observed that if it were to transfer the petition, it would indicate that the top court is not having faith in the Calcutta High Court. “If we transfer, we would be expressing a view of lack of faith in the entire high court.”

Senior advocate Harish Salve, representing Adhikari, submitted that the atmosphere in Kolkata was not congenial for the hearing of the election petition.

He added that Chief Minister wrote a letter stating that because she had opposed a particular judge’s appointment, then he should recuse from hearing a connected matter. The top court was informed that judges who had given relief to Adhikari in connected matters had incurred the wrath of the state administration.

However, the bench remarked that the high court should have control over their litigation.

Also informed that a case was filed against a judge who passed orders against the state government, the bench, unmoved with these submissions, said the Chief Justice and the high court judges have enough powers to ensure that congenial atmosphere is maintained during the trial in the election petition. “Their shoulders are broad enough to deal with it,” noted the bench.

Salve submitted that Calcutta High Court judges are also on the receiving end of the government excesses and there is no problem with judges.

The bench remarked that could not form the basis for it to transfer and pointed out that elections of former PMs have been challenged and the Allahabad High Court heard it.

Salve urged the bench to take on record that the Chief Justice would ensure that the security is provided. The bench replied it will be accepting that the atmosphere is not congenial and if witnesses, during the trial, express any apprehension, it can be brought to the notice of the court.

The bench further added that Salve’s client and other witnesses in the trial can approach the judge concerned in connection with the security.

After a detailed hearing, the bench noted that Adhikari seeks to withdraw the transfer petition and granted him liberty to approach the judge concerned of the Calcutta High Court presiding over the trial of the election petition.

In the 2021 Assembly election, Adhikari had defeated Mamata Banerjee by 1,956 votes. In June 2021, Banerjee moved an election petition before the high court seeking a direction to Adhikari’s election from Nandigram be declared null and illegal. Adhikari moved the apex court seeking transfer of the election petition out of West Bengal.

CBI arrests lawyer Gautam Khaitan in Embraer bribery case

Six years after lodging an FIR, the CBI has arrested Delhi-based lawyer Gautam Khaitan in connection with a case of alleged kickback paid by a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer to a middleman, the agency said on Thursday.

A deal for three aircraft was to be done with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) worth $210 million. Brazilian company Embraer allegedly paid the kickback to a UK-based NRI to swing the deal in its favour in 2008. It was alleged that around $5.76 million was paid as kickback in the matter.

“Khaitan was instrumental in moving the money chain. With the help of different entities abroad and in India, the money was transferred from one to another,” a CBI official said.

The CBI official said that Khaitan was arrested last week. He was questioned and then remanded to judicial custody. The CBI lodged the case on the basis of a news reoprt by a Braziliam newspaper.

A fully customised EMB-145 aircraft deal was to be done with the DRDO. The aircraft were to be fitted with airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) system. Khaitan was allegedly involved in the deal and played an important role in moving the kickback money.

DMK family channel spreads fake news about Shankaracharya

DMK’s first family-owned news channel was caught spreading fake news about Govardhan math’s Shankaracharya Sri Nischalananda Saraswati. Liberals and Ambedkarites were spreading pictures of a BJP MLA getting blessings from Shankaracharya saying the latter lifted his legs in an insulting manner. This was picked up and “reported” by the Karunanidhi family-owned channel Kalaignar News as well.

On August 27, Kalaignar News shared the picture of BJP’s SC MP Dr.Ramshankar Katheria paying respects to Shankaracharya saying he was disrespected by the latter. Dr.Katheria had organised a Srimad Bhagwat Katha at his house and had gone to invite the Shankaracharya to attend the event. Snapshots of his visit were shared in which he can be seen bowing on the ground and Shankaracharya lifting his feet.

Social media handles shared these pictures and claimed that Shankaracharya discriminated against the MP as he didn’t want the latter to touch his feet because he is an SC. Kalaignar News picked it up and reported it as “Controversy ensues as Puri Shankaracharya lifted his legs and frowned when BJP’s SC MP Ramshankar Katheria tried to get his blessings”. The tweet went viral and Dravidianists shared the image card across all social media platforms.

MP Katheria himself tweeted about the incident and clarified that he was not disrespected or discriminated against in any way. His tweet said, “Whatever is being shown in the media, no such incident happened, it is completely untrue. I strongly condemn this and demand strict action against such people who are showing all this wrong”.

Even though many flagged it as fake news after the MP clarified, Dravidianists continued to share the Kalaignar news report. The latter hasn’t deleted its tweet or issued clarification either. Dravidianists excel at twisting the facts to suit their narrative and this is one such incident. Readers should also recall how a person given centre stage by DMK IT wing and DMK MPs and MLAs for his ‘prowess’ in Tamil and Sanskrit turned out to have faked his PhD degree. Yet he was awarded an honorary PhD by the Dravidar Kazhagam run Periyar Maniammai University.

Even though DMK claims to be working to bring social justice and equality to society, DMK leaders are the first to take one’s caste to abuse or play the victim card. DMK likes to claim that if not for the party, OBCs, SCs and STs would have remained “oppressed” forever. But one should remember how DMK MP RS Bharathi said, “If those from Adi Dravida (referring to scheduled castes and tribes aka Dalits) community could become High Court judges, it is the alms given by Dravidian Movement”. But more than the fact that he insulted SC, STs even the judges were concerned only about the “alms” remark. Despite having such a history DMK and the organisations associated with it still peddle fake news to keep kindling the anti-Hindu anti-Brahmin hatred.

Racialized dynamics of Chrisitan missions – Whiteness privileged, people of color objectified

In 2001, my wife & I were young adults newly married. We’d been invited to Jamaica by a Christian missions organization to see about joining their work. We were taken to a gated compound to stay in a massive house used to host short term teams who came to build houses.

Our hosts were a retired white couple who lived in the house year round & had a staff of Jamaicans who cooked, cleaned, did yard work & security. The first morning I woke in the big house to the sound of hedges being clipped & saw a Black man working outside our window.

We were brought to the dining room to eat & invited to sit down at a table with the missionary couple while the kitchen & yard staff ate at a table across the room. Uncomfortable, we asked why we were eating separately. We were told that’s how the Jamaicans preferred it.

The compound was a mansion on a beautiful mountainside in Highgate. The field director came to pick up my wife & me to show us their housing work. We visited rural villages where the missions organization was building tiny 2-room shacks w/ no running water.

Visiting teams from American churches would stay at the compound while they built the shacks out of plywood and tin sheeting & provided Christian programming. We visited the missions church, which was white missionary adults & Black children, many from a local orphanage.

We asked hard questions. How much were the Jamaicans paid? The going local rate for workers. Why not more? So it didn’t throw off the economy & create dependency. Why weren’t the houses better? Because it would create jealousy & teams couldn’t build them in a week.

As a student, my wife had gone to Jamaica with this org to work in an orphanage & teach in a school. As adults we were brought back & saw a different side. Several Jamaicans my wife knew spent time with us. We visited their church & we heard their concerns about the org.

To the local Jamaicans, the organization did some good work but mostly felt distant & didn’t pay well. To us, the whole thing operated like an antebellum plantation. We knew how much support white families were raising to live there, while the people around them subsisted.

While there, we found out the field director was planning to retire & they were looking at us as possibilities to take on the role. We were just barely adults ourselves, but knew enough to run away from this setup as fast as we could.

We had visited because we knew God had called us to community development & reconciliation work. What we found there made us cringe. White Americans who felt like their way of life was slipping away at home were recreating it in another land.

I’m not saying this is the sum total of all missions work or that all organizations operate exactly the same. Some missionaries have been voices for justice. What I’m saying is that our particular experience of a conservative group that hosted short term teams was terrible.

In my writing & speaking, I’ve tried to identify the racialized dynamics at play in the way that intercultural Christian missions is often imagined, the ways it centers whiteness & objectifies people of color. It doesn’t always go over well.

I’ve used photos of white American Christians putting their arms around Black & Brown children while on short term trips overseas to ask if the same folks are learning from & submitting to Black & Brown Christians in their own communities. This makes people angry.

2 youth, Aadil and Danish, held for blackmailing girl using an obscene video in Srinagar

Acting tough with the offenders of crime against women, the Police in Srinagar have arrested two accused persons involved in allegedly blackmailing a girl, extorting money and circulating her video on WhatsApp, Police said.

“Police received a written complaint from a resident of Shunglipora area of Srinagar stating that an obscene video of his niece was captured by two boys namely Danish Majeed Bhat, son of Abdul Majeed Bhat and a resident of Noorbagh, and Aadil Ahmed Rather, son of Abdul Ahad Rather and a resident of Shunglipora Noorbagh,” Police added.

“Later on, they extorted money from the said victim girl from time to time on the pretext of circulating the said video on social media and subsequently both accused shared it on Whatsapp among some persons of Shangilipora as well.”

The Police said acting swiftly both the accused persons were immediately arrested. They have been shifted to police station where they remain in custody.

“Community members are advised to delete the said video clip immediately if they have received it, and anyone found involved in circulation of said video will be liable to strict legal action under law,” Police added.

Mutual recognition of MIR and RuPay between Russia and Bharat another step towards de-dollarisation of global economy

Russia’s disconnection from the SWIFT international payment system could result in unexpected consequences, as several countries are now considering the development of alternative instruments.

Eleven countries have already joined the Russian MIR payment system, and more than 15 have expressed their readiness, Bharat among them.

Bharat and Russia are already in talks to integrate their respective payment mechanisms to ensure trade between the two nations does not suffer. The two countries need to develop a financial system which would not be affected by Western sanctions on Russia.

In July, for the first time, goods from Russia were shipped to Bharat by land. The new trade route, which allows goods from Russia to pass through Central Asia and Iran, solves two problems at once – the tedious transport by ship through the Suez Canal and the fear of malicious sanctions.

Russian ambassador to Bharat Denis Alipov predicts 40 per cent increase in trade volume this year. Oleg Deripaska, the founder of En+ Group and RUSAL, declared a similar position in his recent interview. He assesses the potential of bilateral trade volume between the two countries at $120-150 billion over the next decade.

Mutual recognition of the Russian and Bharatiya payment systems looks like a logical step. Though the rupee-ruble trade has not been successful in the past, the ongoing geopolitical shifts have prompted both countries to work on resolving the bottlenecks.

The countries are already in talks to expand the use of national currencies in bilateral trade payments. The arrangement essentially facilitates the settlement of payment between the two countries in their currencies, instead of the US dollar, the euro or the British pound.

“The payment system is strategic now, given the current situation and sanctions against Russia. It is of utmost importance to have self-reliance in the payments system and we need to work towards that,” SJM national co-convenor Ashwani Mahajan told India Narrative.

“We have our own payments system, we need to see how to expand its global acceptance,” Mahajan said, adding that Bharat must attempt to integrate its own payments system with Russia’s indigenous MIR.

Thus, the US move to cut off Russia from SWIFT has only brought the focus back on the necessity of de-dollarisation of global trade.

In the current geopolitical and economic context, the formation of new strategic alliances and the development of local market-oriented systems is a prerequisite for Bharat and other countries in the East to reap the benefits.

महिलाओं के लिए कथित रूप से काम करने का दावा करने वाले पोर्टल शीदपीपल की मालकिन ने जिस दिन भारतीय जनता पार्टी सरकार के मंत्री से भेंट की, उसके आसपास भी उनका पोर्टल हिन्दुओं के विरुद्ध जहर ही फैलाता हुआ दिखा था। वैसे तो कहने के लिए महिलाओं का चैनल है, महिलाओं का पोर्टल है, परन्तु उसमें जो ओपिनियन पीस प्रकाशित होते हैं, उनमें  कई लेखों में काफी सीमा तक हिन्दू समाज के प्रति तिरस्कार की भावना या हिन्दुओं को हीन समझने की भावना होती है कि सहज ही किसी को तनिक भी विश्वास न हो। परन्तु जो है सो है, जो दिखता है, वही लिखा जाता है।

परन्तु यह बहुत ही विरोधाभासी है कि एक ओर हिन्दुओं के विरुद्ध अवधारणात्मक वैचारिक शैल चोपड़ा लडती हैं तो वहीं उसी सरकार के मंत्री को अपनी किताब उपहार में देनी है, जिसे वोट देने वाले समुदाय पर उनका पोर्टल सबसे ज्यादा उंगली उठाता है।

जब वह अपनी किताब तोहफे में दे रही थीं, तब भी वह अपना एजेंडा चला रही थीं और वह एजेंडा था हिन्दुओं को बदनाम करने का। हिन्दुओं के शब्द तांत्रिक को मौलाना के किए गए अपराध के लिए दोषी ठहराना!

उस पोर्टल पर एक समाचार का शीर्षक था कि “पुणे में एक तांत्रिक ने एक महिला को खुले में स्नान करने के लिए बाध्य किया, जिससे उसके बेटा हो सके!”

जबकि उसके भीतर लिखा था कि मौलाना बाबा जामदार को पुलिस ने हिरासत में लिया गया।

हालांकि ऐसा ही कई और मीडिया हाउसेस ने किया, जैसे zee news आदि ने

रिपोर्ट के अनुसार घटना यह थी कि महिला का पति और ससुराल वाले उसे आरोपी के पास ले गए, जिसने उस पर कुछ रस्में निभाईं। उन्होंने कहा कि उसे बेटा तभी हो सकता है जब महिला अपने पति, ससुराल वालों और खुद के सामने बिना कपड़ों के रायगढ़ में एक झरने के नीचे स्नान कर ले।”

परिवार रायगढ़ गया और उसने वह रस्म पूरी की, जिसके बाद पीड़िता को लगा कि यह सही नहीं है। उसने भारती विद्यापीठ पुलिस स्टेशन में शिकायत दर्ज की, और उसके परिवार के सदस्यों और मौलाना सहित उसके चार लोगों पर “अंधविश्वास विरोधी अधिनियम, धारा 478 और जादू टोना अधिनियम, धोखाधड़ी, घरेलू हिंसा और मानव बलि के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया। “

मगर शीदपीपल ने बहुत आसानी से इसे तांत्रिक कर दिया, मगर नेट के यूजर्स ने इस चालबाजी को समझ लिया और फिर इस छल से भरी रिपोर्टिंग का विरोध करना शुरू कर दिया तो उन्हें अपनी खबर में परिवर्तन करना पड़ा। वैसे भी शीदपीपल में कई बार हिन्दू घृणा या हिन्दुओं के प्रति हिकारत का भाव दिखता है, तो ऐसे में यह शीर्षक ऐसा दिया था तो अचरज नहीं होना चाहिए।

जिस शीर्षक का विरोध हुआ

जिस मामले में तनिक भी हिन्दू मुस्लिम का संदेह नहीं था, उसमें हिन्दुओं को दोषी ठहराने का कार्य किया और झारखंड में अंकिता हत्याकांड में शाहरुख हंसता हुआ पुलिस के साथ जा रहा था, तो उसे पूरी तरह से पुरुषों के विरुद्ध मामला बना दिया कि आदमियों में डर नहीं शेष रहा है जो एक महिला को जलाने वाला आदमी इस तरह हँसते हुए जा रहा है? परन्तु शीदपीपल को शाहरुख का नाम शीर्षक में बताने में क्या समस्या है?

अंकिता वाले समाचार की दो तीन बार रिपोर्टिंग इस पोर्टल ने की है, परन्तु एक बार भी शाहरुख़ का नाम शीर्षक में नहीं है, अंकिता का नाम एक समाचार में शीर्षक में है, और जब अब यह पता लग गया है कि अंकिता की उम्र 15 से 16 वर्ष के बीच की थी, तो भी “महिलाओं के लिए काम करने वाला पोर्टल” शीदपीपल अंकिता की उम्र 19 वर्ष क्यों बता रहा है? हालांकि एक खबर में इन्होनें यह अवश्य लिखा है कि मृतका की उम्र बाल कल्याण के अनुसार 16 वर्ष है, परन्तु उन्होंने पहले के समाचारों में सम्पादन नहीं किया है, जिससे पर्याप्त भ्रम उत्पन्न हो रहा है कि अंकिता की उम्र कितनी थी? क्या महिलाओं के लिए कार्य करने वाले पोर्टल्स को एक लड़की के प्रति इतना असंवेदनशील होना चाहिए? या फिर उनका एजेंडा कुछ और है? कई बार प्रश्न उठता है, जब दूसरी खबर आ गयी है, और POSCO एक्ट में एफआईआर दर्ज हो गयी है, तो क्या इन समाचारों को सम्पादित नहीं करना चाहिए?

जब यह साफ़ होता जा रहा है कि नूर मुस्तफा ने जानबूझकर अंकिता की उम्र 19 वर्ष की थी तब भी शीदपीपल पर अंकिता की उम्र 19 वर्ष क्यों दिखाई जा रही है? क्या यह पोर्टल झारखंड में अंकिता को जलाने वाले शाहरुख के साथ खड़ा है? यदि नहीं तो अब तक पुराने समाचारों में आवश्यक सम्पादन क्यों नहीं किया गया?

यद्यपि शीदपीपल द्वारा किए गए छल न ही नए हैं और न ही ऐसा है कि इस पोर्टल ने नया कुछ किया है, यह बार बार ऐसा करते हैं, परन्तु अंकिता के मामले में इस सीमा तक असंवेदनशीलता देखकर हैरानी हो रही है क्योंकि यह पोर्टल महिलाओं के लिए काम करने का दावा करता है? परन्तु ऐसा लगता है कि यह कहीं न कहीं पोर्टल छद्म धर्मनिरपेक्षता अर्थात मात्र हिन्दुओं को ही निशाना बनाने काअड्डा मात्र तो नहीं है! ऐसा कई यूजर्स भी प्रश्न करते हैं!

Dalit Granthi of Malerkotla Gurudwara assaulted, face blackened, urine thrown on him

A Granthi of a Gurudwara in Malerkotla District’s Abdullahpur Chuhane village belonging to the SC (Dalit) community was assaulted reportedly by upper caste Sikhs. The incident took place on August 14 and the victim has been identified as Hardev Singh. After the video went viral on social media, Malerkotla senior superintendent of police recorded Hardev’s complaint.

A police case has been registered at Sandaur police station based on Granthi’s statement. Two of the five accused named in the complaint have been arrested. Two brothers and the Gurudwara committee’s president and treasurer are among those who have been booked in connection with this case.

They have been booked under IPC sections 365 (abduction), 355 (assault or criminal force with intent to dishonour), 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), along with the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

Singh said the attackers blackened his face and also forced him to drink urine. In his statement to the police, when he resisted their attempt to force him to consume urine, they collected urine in a mug and hurled it at his face. The Granthi further informed the police attackers also recorded the incident and circulated the video. The accused, on the other hand, have alleged that the Granthi used to regularly call up a woman in the village.

“A similar incident was reported from Punjab two years ago in November 2019, when a Dalit man was allegedly forced to drink urine and assaulted. Jagmale Singh, 37, had an argument with upper-caste Sikhs of his locality. He later died of the assault. The National Commission for Scheduled Castes took suo moto cognisance of the case citing brutality”, notes SwarajyaMag.
