“On 30 April 2023, the official Twitter handle of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense posted a morphed image of the revered Hindu Goddess Kaali in an objectionable manner.

The ‘Defense of Ukraine’ handle posted an illustration of the Hindu deity, wherein Goddess Kali was shown having an ‘upskirt moment’ similar to Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe.

“Work of art,” it said in that tweet. 

Ukraine through its official government ID insults Hindu Gods and then wonders why Indians prefer Russia over them. Russia has no problem with the Hinduness of India, only the liberal west does….”
