Jihadist-terrorist Zulkarnain Saer Sami with many aliases such as Zulkarnain Saer, alias Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat, who was expelled from Hungary on a number of serious allegations, including connections with transnational drug-trafficking and money-laundering rackets as well as connections with militancy outfits such as Hezbollah and Hamas sought asylum in the United Kingdom with false claim of being a “victim of political harassment” in Bangladesh.
According to Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium (TRAC), which is one of the most comprehensive compendiums of information and analysis of terrorist groups and activities in the world, jihadist Zulkarnain Saer Khan threatened to behead a Hindu rights activist and professor Kushal Baran Chakraborty in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He also regularly terms Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as “terrorist group”; brands leaders of RSS as “top terrorists”; runs vile propaganda against Hindus; and been plotting terrorist attacks on Israeli embassy as well as Jewish synagogues, homes, business establishments and Jewish community members in Britain.
Most importantly, though he is living in the United Kingdom for the past three years, Zulkarnain has no valid source of income, except for his alleged involvement in extortion, drug trafficking, money-laundering, terror-connection and operating human trafficking rackets that brings illegal immigrants to Britain through the English Channel.
Europe’s leading and most-influential multi-media news channel EuroNews, through a report titled ‘Cryptocurrency, drugs, money laundering: a Hungarian thread in the funding of Hamas’ has further exposed dangerous activities of this jihadist-terrorist.
According to media reports, in Hungary Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami was running a couple of restaurants including an Indian restaurant named ‘Curry House’ located at District, VIII., 1. Horánszky Street – Budapest, Hungary, where under the garb of restaurant business, he was running illegal activities including drug trafficking, money-laundering and terrorist activities.
Zulkarnain Saer on his social media platforms falsely claims to be a former cadet of the Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) while he also claims to be a researcher at Organized Crime and Corruption Project Reporting (OCCRP)’ reporter of Israeli newspaper Haaretz and research analyst at Al Jazeera. What this jihadist-terrorist does not say is – he was expelled from BMA on charges of drug addiction.
According to media reports, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat was bearing Bangladeshi passport number EG0092902 (date of issue May 22, 2020). His birth ID number is 19830007842012539. He also possesses 3 more Bangladeshi passports number B1765649, BJ050260, AC5075647. His driving license number is DK-0014714L00009. His Hungarian ID card number is 000529284. His second wife’s name is Aditia Firoza Khan, Passport number BJ0520244.
Despite the fact that the father’s name of Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat is Mohammed Abdul Baset Khan., in his passports Sami has on-purpose changed his father’s name to “Colonel Wasit Khan” with the ulterior motive of dodging law enforcing agencies from getting hold of his criminal records.
According to information, back in 2001, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat was caught by the Military Police while entering Dhaka Cantonment wearing the uniform of an army Colonel. Later he was released after giving a written bond.
Prior to fleeing Bangladesh for Hungary, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat was arrested on July 21, 2006 in Bangladesh on charges of cheating local businessmen under false identity of an officer of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB). A criminal case number 43, dated 21.07.2006 was lodged against him under sections 140, 170, 171, 419, 465, 467, 469 and 472 of the Bangladesh Penal Code.
On May 20, 2022, Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat established a company named ‘SAMS INC LTD’ in the United Kingdom. Company number 13411356. The proposed registered office address of this company is: Kemp House, 160 City Road, London, United Kingdom EC1V 2NX. Main reason behind establishment of ‘SAMS INC LTD’ is to shift his illegal activities, such as drug trafficking, money-laundering and maintaining connections with various terrorist outfits.
Hungarian media reports claim Zulkarnain Sami operated several restaurants in Budapest, including VIII. district Curry House Indian restaurant. According to newspaper reports, the man was engaged in illegal activities under the guise of operating restaurants. His restaurants in the Hungarian capital are said to be a meeting point for people connected to illegal activities (money laundering, drug trafficking).
Sitting in Britain, this notorious jihadist-terrorist has also been maintaining connections with “Khalistani” terrorists as well as operatives of Pakistani spy agency Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI), while running vile propaganda against Bharat and Hindus on social media platforms. Only during the last one month, he has published 24 posts against Bharat and Hindus.
On February 4, 2024 in a post sharing a report of AL Jazeera Zulkarnain Saer wrote: “The Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi is one of several Muslim places of worship that right-wing Hindu groups, backed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), have sought for decades to reclaim.
Varanasi is Modi’s parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, also governed by the BJP”.
Sharing a report in favor of ultra-Islamist and Al Qaeda connected Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Zulkarnair on February 3, 2024 wrote: “In no way can BNP be identified as an “Islamist” party, let alone be called an “ultra-Islamist” one. The loaded language of the Blitz article, lack of any sources and evidence to support its main claim, and the website’s record of spreading political disinformation against independent journalists and critics of the government are enough to debunk its new assertion that BNP has launched a so-called India Out movement in Bangladesh. Another brilliant work by Qadaruddin Shishir well-done”.
It may be mentioned here that Qadarudding Shishir is a member of Jamaat-e-Islami and currently working at French news agency AFP.
On January 26, 2024, jihadist-terrorist Zulkarnain in a post wrote: “As these lines show, India’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Govt. mentality is that of a parasite — it will only take and take from Bangladesh and give nothing in return. The Sharebiz report has already shown us that India cannot be viewed as a development partner of Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s exports to India are nothing to write home about, which is why the taka-rupee trade arrangement has been a big flop.
“India does not allow duty-free entry to RMG and jute products from Bangladesh, its two major export products. So how is this subservient posture of the Bangladesh Awami League government towards India ever going to contribute towards macroeconomic stability in Bangladesh?
“Let’s just say India is acting like the most possessive and paranoid spouse one can have. “[…] the reality is that the only relationship that matters for Bangladesh is the one with India.” Awww… sweet, but thanks but no thanks. He then threatens that “turning away from and being antagonistic to India” will be detrimental to Bangladesh and do more harm to it.

On January 26, 2024 in a post Zulkarnain Saer in Bangla wrote: “I wanted to know the opinion on Twitter, which organization of Bangladesh or subcontinent can be found similar to Indian extremist/fundamentalist organization RSS. Out of 436 people, 49.5% voted for Hizbut Tahrir, 24.1% for Harkatul Jihad Al Islam, 19.3% for Jamatul Mujahideen BD, 7.1% for Hizbul Mujahideen. Just imagine that a head of government has been elected in Bangladesh or Pakistan with direct involvement of the above organizations!
And who maintains very close relations with all these organizations even after becoming the head of the government. What would happen then? India would have ended in rage, the whole world would have said that the head of the government of my neighboring country is a terrorist! Do not want this government! Will disturb the security of my country. Our western friends also used to put on a huge hue and cry.
And there are native fu**kers! India, a predominantly Hindu state (even though they claim to be secular), they crack down on Muslims, bulldoze their homes and businesses if anyone protests, and nothing will happen. Because their head of government is a member and supporter of a fundamentalist/extremist organization. But if some Muslim leaders happen in a country like that same incident, the country will become a base of terrorist-militants.

This jihadist-terrorist Zulkarnaik Saer has been running such vile propaganda on social media platforms for months, while this has not yet been reported in any of the Indian media outlets except for Hindu Post and The Organiser.
Taking advantage of the silence of Indian media, jihadist-terrorist Zulkarnain Saer Sami as well some of his cohorts including Pinaki Bhattacharya (left Hindu dharma and became a Muslim under patronization of Jamaat-e-Islami) and David Bergman are continuously giving instigation to Indian Muslims in waging jihad against the country. For the sake of regional security, while Indian medias need to bring these dangerous individuals under radar, Dhaka and New Delhi should jointly press complaints against Zulkarnaik Saer with authorities in London.
