The story of another terrible traitor of India who got ten thousand Dalits killed in a single day. Friends! Ever since the CAA was born, one name has emerged very rapidly. Many BJP leaders gave the example of Jogendranath Mandal to explain why CAA is necessary.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took the name of Jogendranath Mandal in the House, even if in a different context, I thought that now we should read a little about this person and find out who this ‘great soul’ is.
Jogendranath Mandal was born in 1904 in a Dalit family of Maiskadi in Barisal district in Bengal Mandal came close to the top leadership of Congress till 1939-40, but after some time he distanced himself from Congress and joined Muslim League party.
Jogendranath Mandal started being counted among the special members of Muslim League because Mandal was a very big Dalit leader of undivided India, so big that he was even bigger than Dr. Ambedkar. It is also said and there is evidence for this that Dr. Ambedkar was launched by Mandal.
Friends! You will be surprised to know that Pakistan was formed due to the alliance of Dalits + Muslims.* Today, those self-proclaimed leaders of Dalits who are raising the slogan Jai Bhim Jai Mim should read Mandal once.
Jai Bhim Jai Mim was first used by Mandal. And Mandal was a great leader of Dalits. Today’s leaders are nothing in front of them. Understand that Mandal was the most influential among Dalits.
That is why Jinnah readily accepted Mandal because Jinnah knew that Pakistan cannot be created without the support of Dalits Friends, Jogendranath Mandal along with Jinnah started talking about the creation of Pakistan, and started telling the Dalits that there will be a separate country for Dalits and Muslims.
Where we will be taken care of properly, after the creation of our new country Pakistan, all of us Dalit brothers will leave India and go to Pakistan and will live there very comfortably.
Jogendranath Mandal divided Assam with his power, this happened in 1947. After the declaration of 3 June 1947, the Assam Ayyalhat had to decide through referendum whether it would become a part of Pakistan or Hindustan, the number of Hindus and Muslims in that area was equal.
Had a Hindu been the deciding factor in the plebiscite, that part would have remained with India, but Jinnah’s cunning ploy worked. Jinnah sent Mandal to Assam and told him to get all the Dalits to vote in favour of Pakistan. This is what happened; at one signal from Mandal, the Dalits voted in favour of Pakistan because Dalit Hindus were in majority there.
Thus, that part of Assam, which is today in Bangladesh, became a part of Pakistan. With great enthusiasm, Mandal along with Jinnah created Pakistan and said goodbye to India along with lakhs of Dalits and went to Pakistan.
Jogendranath Mandal’s illusion of the so-called sympathy of Muslims was now shattered. Mandal fully realized his mistake when more than 10000 (ten thousand) Dalits were killed in just one day on 20 February 1950 in Pakistan and Jogendranath Mandal himself said this in his resignation.
After Jinnah’s death, Mandal wrote a long resignation letter in which he mentioned the terrible atrocities being committed against the Dalits and the Pakistan government kept watching everything with closed eyes. Ultimately, in 1950, Jogendranath Mandal took refuge in the same India which he had once broken for Jai Bhim Jai Mim.
Leaving lakhs of Dalits in the jaws of death, Jogandranath Mandal came to India as a refugee and started living in anonymity. Perhaps he was ashamed of his act. Slowly the same Dalit Hindus started coming to India as refugees. To give Indian citizenship to these refugees, Modi Government made a new law, CAA. But the sad part is that those who had declared themselves as the well-wishers of Dalits are themselves opposing this law and that too with Muslims. Muslims have again joined hands with Dalits by deceit.
Today again the slogan of Jai Bhim Jai Mim is echoing, I would like to say just one thing to such people that you are not even the dust under Mandal’s feet, but once you read the fate of Mandal, all the misconceptions will be dispelled. This is not a story, it is just Indian history of a few decades ago.
