Anti-Hindu speech is FoS for ‘secular’ politicians

Giving anti-Hindu statements has become a standard feature of Abrahmic-appeasing ‘secular’ political parties. One politician after another is using freedom of speech (FoS) to hide their Hindudvesh (Hinduphobia).

Anti-Hindu tirade of politicians

Having attacked Manusmriti in the vilest manner, the cabal seems to have turned its attention to Goswami Tuslidasji’s Ramcharitmanas. The latest politician to go on an anti-Hindu tirade by targeting Ramcharitmanas in Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) Ritlal Yadav.

“You are attempting to incite hostility among the communities. How much longer will this last? Ram Temple was formerly discussed. If you remember, Ramcharitmanas was penned in a mosque. Look into the past. No threat existed to our Hindutva at that time. Our Hindutva wasn’t in danger back when the Mughals ruled over us for such a long duration”, Yadav questioned.

Yadav’s statement is both ill-informed and a complete lie. In recent times several politicians have targeted Ramcharitmanas. Ten people, including Samajwadi Party’s (SP) Swami Prasad Maurya, were booked for burning pages of Shri Ramcharitmanas. The despicable act was done in UP’s (Uttar Pradesh) Vrindavan by members of an organization identified as Akhil Bharatiya OBC Mahasabha.

The members said they burnt copies of the Hindu Grantha to ‘express solidarity’ with Maurya. An FIR (First Information Report) was filed against Swami Prasad Maurya, Devendra Pratap Yadav, Yashpal Singh Lodhi, Satyendra Kushwaha, Mahendra Pratap Yadav, Sujit Yadav, Naresh Singh, S S Yadav, Santosh Verma and Saleem.

The act was allegedly done in protest against certain ‘objectionable’ verses. However, it appears to be a political strategy. The political strategy seems to be to break the OBCs or so-called backward castes vote bank of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya said: “I don’t have any issue with Ramcharitramanas but parts of it have insulting comments and sarcasm directed at particular castes and sects. Those should be removed”. He further claimed that in the Ramcharitmanas, some words hurt the sentiments of the Dalit community.

This has become a toolkit of sorts where loose tongues like Maurya are allowed to comment on Hindu Granthas at will and the party later washes its hands off saying the comments are the ‘personal views’ of the leader in question. Recently, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Shivanand Tiwari also said there is a lot of ‘kooda karkat’ (garbage) in Ramanaya along with diamonds and pearls.

Bihar Education Minister RJD MLA Chandrashekhar Yadav opined that Ramcharitmanas spreads ‘hatred’. He demanded the burning of books such as Manusmriti, Ramcharitmanas by Goswami Tulsidas and Bunch of Thoughts by Madhav Sadashivrao Golwalkar saying these worked towards keeping a majority of the population backwards. Yadav opined that Islam was the only religion giving the message of love and honesty. Leftist Hinduphobic author KS Bhagawan from Karnataka, who received protection from the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government, demeaned Bhagwan Ram by calling Him a ‘drunkard’.

Minority appeasement politics

In addition to being anti-Hindu, these politicians indulge in vote bank politics and minority appeasement. The recently elected Congress government is a reflection of all ‘secular’ parties and the policy pursued by them.

The Siddaramaiah government is providing cheap education loans to minority students while no such scheme has been announced for poor Hindu students. He announced several other sops for minorities. Mamata Banerjee pursues the policy ‘divide the majority, unite the minority’. Telangana’s K Chandrashekhar Rao took minority appeasement a few notches higher by deciding to give judicial powers to Waqf Boards.

These are merely some of the examples we have cited to highlight the fact the secular parties are united by their deep-seated hatred for Hindus and Hindu Dharma. Hindu Samaj needs to wake up and smell the coffee as well as realize the reality of these ‘secular’ parties.
