Bangladesh: ‘Gita Paath’ program in front of the historic Kantajiu Temple; 20,000 Hindus joined

History has been created today in Bangladesh. For the first time, more than twenty thousand Hindus recited the shlokas of the Gita together.

The program was organised in the Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. On the occasion of this auspicious program, Hindus of Dinajpur and adjacent districts reached the temple. They together recited the shlokas of the Gita.

An organiser said, “The program was arranged to create awareness among the Hindus about their Dharma.” Next year, a bigger program will be organised, he added.

Recently, the historic Kantajiu Temple was in the headlines for the illegal construction of a mosque in the temple land. But, due to the massive outrage from the Hindu minority community, the District Magistrate intervened and the construction work was stopped.
