Radical elements associated with the Popular Front of India (PFI) took out a rally in Holagundha, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh and it is alleged that they raised slogans of “zindabad, zindabad, Aurangzeb zindabad” (Long Live Aurangzeb).
Police could be seen moving along with the rallyists, but did nothing to stop the provocative sloganeering for a tyrannical Mughal king who is loathed by all right-thinking citizens of the country.
Praising the bigoted tyrant is now the weapon of choice for extremists who are working hard to destroy our nation, from within. Nothing else explains why any true Bharatiya citizen would support someone who directed the massacre of over 40 lakh Hindus, as per conservative estimates. Surprisingly, mainstream media failed to even report such seditious behavior at the hands of radical Islamists.
Mughal king Aurangazeb was a fanatical Islamist ruler who plundered and destroyed thousands of Hindu temples all over Bharat and built mosques over them. 500 temples were looted and destroyed in and around Benaras alone.
The bigot slaughtered cows inside these temples and Sikh gurudwaras. He even used materials from the same temples that he had destroyed, to build mosques. Incidentally, he massacred vast numbers of Shia Muslims too whom he considered unworthy of Islam. Sikh Guru Tegh Bahadur was decapitated by Aurangazeb after he refused to convert to Islam.
The ones he left alone like the Jagannath temple in Puri and the Sri Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati were spared since they enriched his treasury. Like today, it was the state that controlled temple revenues. Cities were renamed and names like Islamabad and Mohammadabad became common and some still retain these names.
Aurangzeb demolished some of the biggest and oldest Hindu temples including the Krishna Janamsthan temple in Mathura and Kashi Vishwanath temple at Kashi, enslaved and encouraged Hindu slavery, treated Hindu women and children as objects, used the state resources to enable massive conversion drives to Islam and levied discriminatory and humiliating taxes called ‘Jizya’ on non-Muslims. His own biographer mentioned that the Jizya tax was to suppress ‘infidels’ and to draw a distinction between Hindu Dharma and ‘superiority’ of Islam.
When it came to power, Aurangzeb followed the Mughal tradition of family in-fighting. He killed a couple of his own brothers, drove one away from his evil empire and kept his father, the vile Shah Jahan under house arrest.
Hinduphobic ‘historians’ like Audrey Truschke have tried hard to whitewash mass murderers like Aurangazeb and have spectacularly failed. It is staggering that we have elements within Bharat who cheer for Aurangzeb while the secular Indian state and police watches.
In the words of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the suave and bigoted lawyer-politician who led the demand for Pakistan: “Aurangzeb presided over a conquest state where Hindus had to submit to his rule most unwillingly”
its Pakisthan zindabad..
