Waseem Khan becomes Manoj to dupe Hindu woman, feigns ignorance after 15 years of marriage, absconds with her jewellery & money: Jharkhand

In another case of love jihad, a woman was tricked by a Muslim man named Wasim Khan, who pretended to be Hindu. They got married and lived together for 15 years. Now, Khan refuses to recognize her and has run away with her jewellery. The woman, Rita Devi, has been visiting several police stations seeking justice but has not received any help.

The matter was reported from Jamshedpur’s Sitaramdera in Jharkhand. When Rita went to the Sitaramdera police station to file a complaint, the station in charge said they couldn’t help. She then went to the Sakchi Mahila Police Station and filed a written complaint, but no action was taken.

Rita Devi said that she had four children. She started working after her husband left her. At her workplace, she came in contact with Manoj Jaiswal and started living with him. She later found out that the man’s real name was Wasim Khan, and he was from Mango Old Purulia Road. Wasim has a shop in Kandra, Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

After deceiving her and taking her jewellery and Rs 30,000, Khan threatened Rita with acid attack and harm to her children if she tried to leave him. He also tortured her. Rita continues to seek justice for herself and her children.
