“In a tragic incident, two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel lost their lives in an attack by Kuki militants in Manipur’s Naransena area during the midnight hours on Friday (26 April).
The deceased were identified as sub-inspector N Sarkar and head constable Arup Saini, the officer added.
According to reports, the Manipur Police revealed that the CRPF personnel came under attack by Kuki militants between midnight and 2:15 am.
The deceased were serving in the CRPF 128 Battalion, stationed at the Naransena area in Bishnupur district……”
