A Hindu student who went to Bangladesh to study medicine becomes victim of Love Jihad. 

As per information received, the name of the girl is Amrita Dutta. She went to Bangladesh in 2019 to study MBBS. She took admission in Dhaka National Medical college and Hospital. While studying, she came in contact with Abdul Wakil through Facebook. Soon, a relationship started between them.

Later, in 2022, Amrita Dutta converted into Islam and became Mehjabin Chaudhury. Abdul and Mehjabin got married and started to live in a rented house in Dhaka. But after few months, scuffle broke out between them as Abdul was not taking Mehjabin to his parental home. On 6th of April, 2023, Abdul gave talaq to Mehjabin alias Amrita and left. 

Next month, Amrita alias Mehjabin somehow got in touch with Abdul. Abdul promised her to recognise as wife. Both met and spent some days together. But when She told Abdul about her pregnancy, he left again. 

Now, Amrita alias Mehjabin is living in Bangladesh as she is fourth year student of MBBS in Dhaka National Medical College and Hospital. She is five months’ pregnant now. She filed a case against Abdul Wakil, resident of Maymensingh district, in Dhaka Court.

Amrita alias Mehjabin said, “As I was converted in Islam, my family disowned me. I’m now pregnant. I want to live here with my child. I want recognition of my child and expect to get justice from court”.
