Head Constable Dharmabir Yadav made the supreme sacrifice when the criminals crushed him under their vehicle in a cold-blooded manner. He was part of a police team that had erected barricades after receiving a tip-off that cattle smugglers would be passing via NH-28.

The incident occurred in Jokwa Bazaar, Turkpatti police station area, Kushinagar district.
