On the night of July 16th, Mr. Shivaji, the founding president of the Hindu Munnani, filed a complaint at the H-8 police station in Chennai to stop the alleged slaughter of calves. He then led the police to the location where he believed the calves were to be slaughtered.

According to reports, the person concerned informed some Muslim organizations about the police action, after which a Muslim mob of approximately 200 people gathered at the scene. It is alleged that they assaulted Shri Shivaji in the presence of the police, snatched his vehicle, and threatened to kill him.

Hindu Munnani filed a detailed police complaint on July 19th, stating that details and video evidence of the incident were available in various news media. The organization’s Tamil Nadu president, Mr. R.D. Prabhu, provided this information to a representative of Sanatan Prabhat.

Bharat Hindu Munnani alleged that false narratives were spread around issues such as preventing cow slaughter, closing beef shops, or opposing the slaughter of calves and the consumption of their meat. The organization claimed that some Muslim organizations affiliated with the SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) deliberately created a tense atmosphere. The organization condemned this action, calling it politically motivated.

The organization has demanded that the Chennai Metropolitan Police take strict action against Muslim organizations, rumor mongers, and those allegedly involved in this incident. The organization has warned that if appropriate action is not taken, various allied Hindu organizations will jointly stage a massive protest and siege in front of the police station.
