BHIM-MIM bhai-bhai? 10 major cases of Islamist crimes against ‘Dalits’ in the last 5 yrs from Rajasthan alone challenge the secular narrative

A case study of Crimes by Islamists against ‘Dalit’ (SC Hindus) in Rajasthan in the last five years (2018-2023) is sufficient to bust the secular myth of BHIM-MIM bhai-bhai. The secular cabal constantly sweeps cases of atrocities perpetrated by Islamists under the carpet because it does not suit their agenda and Hinduphobic propaganda. According to the National Crime Record Bureau (NCB), 7017 attacks occurred on ‘Dalits’ in 2020 whereas 4607 cases were recorded in 2018.

The roots of attempts to divide Hindu samaj by projecting the SC community as different from Hindus and the BHIM-MIM unity goes back to the pre-independence era. BHIM-MIM is merely a farce and around 81 cases of attacks on SC and ST communities have been reported from Rajasthan alone. We list 10 such brutal cases where Islamists assaulted members of the SC community.

Cases in 2023

1) A married SC woman was raped and subsequently burnt alive by Shakur Khan who poured thinner on her. The incident took place in Barmer District on April 7. The police registered an FIR only after locals protested.

2) Mukesh Jatav and other members of a marriage party were attacked by Islamists as the DJ allegedly played loud music. The incident took place in February in Bharatpur. The accused have been identified as Nadeem, Sohail, Mausam, Jamshed, Afroz, Dhoni, Mustkim, Salman, Sabba, Faizan, Mulla, and Munfed.

3) In January, an incident was reported from Alwar where a Muslim attacked Hindu SC women with sticks following a dispute between Sohanlal Meghwal and Imran in which the latter cut off the tail of Sohanlal’s goat.

Cases in 2022

4) Last December, Sabir Mohammad threatened a married ‘Dalit’ woman in Bhilwara after forcing her into a sexual relationship with him. He used her photos to blackmail her and force her to get physical with him.

5) An SC man Kishanlal Bheel was lynched to death by a Muslim mob in Jodhpur for drawing water from a well. The accused, who also hurled casteist slurs, were identified as Shakeel, Naseer, and Bablu. The incident occurred in November last year.

Cases in 2021

6) On 15 September, Yogesh Jatav was fatally lynched by Rashid, Sajit Pathan, Mubina and others after his bike hit a Muslim woman after he lost his balance due to a pothole. Though the woman was not injured, the Muslim mob assaulted Yogesh. The case was reported from Alwar District.

7) In August, taxi driver Khemchand Mahawar was murdered using a belt by Naimuddin and Farhan in Jaipur after Khemchand refused to go back to a Dhaba the duo asked him to leading to an argument between them.

8) In July 2021, Krishna Valmiki was beaten to death by Sagar Qureshi, Raees, Imran, Sohail, Shahid Qureshi, and Akhtar Ali in Jhalawar. According to reports Sagar Qureshi was exacting revenge from Krishna Valmiki after a fight between them.

Cases in 2020 & 2018

9) A ‘Dalit’ basti (area) was attacked by a Muslim mob in November 2020 as the residents did not vote for the Muslim community in Barmer leaving many SC members injured. An FIR was registered in accordance with the SC-ST Act against Habib, Nawab, Sumar, Rasool, Awas, Mada, Jimal, Sabu, Barkav, and Sheru in the case.

10) On 20 July 2018, an SC youth identified as Khetaram Bheel was beaten to death by Islamists in Rajasthan’s Barmer for allegedly being in a relationship with a Muslim girl. Patai Khan, Amar Khan, Akbar Khan, Anwar Khan, Rahim Khan, Muhib Khan and Shaukat Khan were arrested in the case.

Essentially the BHIM-MIM bhai-bhai is a red herring used by the secular cabal to give the Islamists a free hand while attacking Hindus at the same time.
