Bangladesh: A minority Hindu family lost everything as armed robbers broke into the house in Potuakhali 

Lawlessness grips over the Bangladesh as the Interim Government led by Muhammad Yunus failed to maintain law and order. And in this situation, Hindu minorities have been suffering the most. Almost everyday, Hindu minorities are being targeted and attacked all over Bangladesh. A fresh incident has come from the Potuakhali district. 

As per the received information, on the night of 22nd of August, armed robbers broke into the house of Nikhil Karmakar in the Amirabad village under the Nilganj union of the Potuakhali district. The robbers tied the male members of the Hindu family and looted all the valuable things. 

The robbers looted around 250 gm of gold and BDT 50,000 from the house. The robbers also beat and tortured Hindu women. The daughter and the wife of Nikhil Karmakar were also beaten. 

A complaint has been filed. As of now, the police have not arrested anyone.

  1. The Hindus of B’Desh will go extinct within a decade or so. The ruthless Islamists and their supportive Govt. won’t mind taking care of these Hindus. They will simply perish. And in the aftermath, the Human Rights Groups will shed tears.
