Bangladesh: A Kali Mata temple is vandalised in Laxmipur

Attacks on the Hindu temples are continuing in Bangladesh. Now, a Hindu temple in Laxmipur district has been vandalised. The Police have launched an investigation. As of now, no one has been arrested.

As per the information, the Kali Mata temple is situated in the Raypur Municipal area of Laxmipur district. The temple is a part of the Hindu crematorium ground. 

On the morning of 31st January, locals found that the temple had been vandalised. The Murti is broken and thrown away outside. Also, the other things used for Puja are thrown out. 

A local Hindu resident said that everything in the temple had been broken. The furnace, which is used to burn dead bodies, has been shattered. Several trees, planted on the crematorium ground has been cut. They have no idea who did this. 

After receiving the information, a team of Police reached the spot. They talked to the locals and promised to take action. Also, political leaders of the town reached the spot. 

As of now, no one has been identified or arrested.
