Urdu replaces Hindi as a medium in MHCET exams, Sahyadri Rights Forum calls for rectification: Maha

Urdu has reportedly replaced Hindi in MHCET entrance exam language options. Sahyadri Rights Forum, an organization for safeguarding the fundamental rights of Sahyadri natives in particular and Bharatiyas in general, has brought the issue to light.

The Forum shared a screenshot of the registration page of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET). The language or medium option for the paper shows Urdu in addition to English and Marathi. Maharashtra has a three-language system, with English, Marathi, and Hindi offered as choices. It is unclear when Hindi was replaced with Urdu.

The Forum has brought up the issue and appealed to Maharashtra’s Minister of Higher and Technical Education, Chandrakant Patil, to look into the matter, rectify the options, and take action against the errant Babus.
