Octogenarian Hindu Bengali mothers are being assaulted to death, babies snatched from the arms of Hindu Bengali mothers, and Hindu Bengali wives are being abducted from their homes and raped under Mamata Banerjee’s governance of “Maa, Mati, Manush”.
The situation for Bengali Hindus is horridly reminiscent of 1971. They recognize the two symbols Trinamool Congress imported from Bangladesh for the Vidha Sabha elections this year which betrays TMC’s hidden agenda, that of turning West Bengal into a Greater Bangladesh, that Bengali Hindus have always dreaded. Yes, “Khela Hobe” is a slogan from Bangladesh’s polity.
“Joy Bangla” on the other hand, was the war-cry of Bangladesh liberation fighters. In 1971, the liberation of Bangladesh from clutches of Pakistan was realized after lakhs of Bengali Hindu women suffered genocidal rapes, and 2.4 million Hindu women, men and children were slaughtered and 10 million displaced. The history of horror replays itself as Mamata Banerjee struggles to retain the power slipping out of her hands.
On Saturday, April 10th 2021, as West Bengal stepped into the fourth phase of elections, visuals of violence have been rushing in from all directions. In an appalling incident that took place in the Zorpatki area of Sitalkuchi constituency in Cooch Behar district, an infant was snatched from a Hindu mother’s arms inside the voting booth right before she could cast her vote.
The mother burst out in tears, as people gathered near her. “I don’t want any government, please bring back my child,” she cried. She alleged a gang of Muslim women disrupted the voting with violence, beat her, pulled at her hair, held a daa (a big sharp knife used in Assam and Bengal households for hard-core chopping) on her neck, abused her for voting for BJP and snatched her toddler from her arms. They also threatened to dash the child on the ground. In the embedded video, we can see a TMC leader admonishing the hapless woman and chasing her away.
In another shocking incident, a 300-strong mob of Muslim men and women in Sitalkuchi came to attack the CRPF and tried to snatch their rifles. In the ensuing violence, central forces were compelled to open fire in self-defence which caused the deaths of four Muslim youths while one voter was killed in another incident reported from the constituency. Earlier, on 3rd April 2021, CRPF Jawans were attacked by a Muslim mob in TMC MLA Saokat Molla’s constituency.
One can’t overlook that the act of attacking the central forces was following the state Chief Minister’s election speech in which she encouraged her followers to ‘block’ the CRPF. TMC MLA candidate Sujata Mondal Khan, while campaigning in the Muslim-dominated areas of Arambagh last week, had allegedly instigated the youth by saying, “You are Muslim boys, are you fearing them so much?”
Apart from making communally-tainted remarks, Khan is also accused of assaulting a young Hindu woman and twisting her wrist. During her election campaigns, Sujata barged into Hindu homes with her storm-troopers and threw away cooked food, retaliating to which, villagers charged her and drove her out. She also disparaged Scheduled Caste Hindus calling them ‘beggars by nature’.
While Mamata Banerjee shamelessly attempts to justify the attack on CRPF claiming it is not illegal to “democratically” gherao CRPF, it should be noted that in light of habitual violence during elections in Bengal, CRPF is well within its rights to fire in self-defence, which they did.
Adding to the serial killings of BJP workers, the hanging dead body of BJP activist Amal Das from Patlakhawa booth area in Cooch Behar was recovered from a nearby bamboo garden on the fourth day of voting in West Bengal. Locals accuse TMC of the murder in their alleged signature style.

Even a 10-year-old girl was allegedly beaten black and blue because she jumped to rescue her uncle and father when TMC goons were thrashing them.
Heedless to the numerous political murders in the state, a day after the death of Sobha Rani Majumdar, the octogenarian mother of a BJP activist from Nimta who was thrashed by TMC goons, the TMC supremo made a shameful speech. “BJP has another plan to kill a woman from their party with goons they have brought from Bihar & UP and put the blame on Bengal. This is their plan,” said Mamata Banerjee while addressing her followers.
Within a week, the news of BJP worker Adak’s mother’s death shocked the poll-bound state. Piru Adak, allegedly, was attacked by TMC workers and his mother Madhavi was beaten to death after she tried to guard her son. The attack took place in Khushiganj in Goghat’s Badanganj. A complaint was lodged at Goghat police station and the body was sent for post-mortem to the Arambagh hospital. Investigations are underway.
