Journalist threatened after he raises abduction and forced conversion of minor Hindu girl: Bangladesh

A journalist was threatened to kill by some religious zealots at Chittagong city in Bangladesh on February -16.

It’s learnt that some fanatics abducted a minority Hindu girl,converted and kept her to capital city of Dhaka more than three months.

The girl was from Sab area of Chittagong city.

The local police following the case filed by the family of the victim recovered and produced her before the court. Then about 3 to 4 hundreds religious zealots gathered at the court premises and tried to take the girl forcibly, but failed when a group of Sanatan youths led by local brave journalist Jewel Aich Arch protested and started telecast a live in the social media against their mass gathering.
The court sent the girl to safe custody on February -15.

Later, the zealots in various social media groups campaigned and commented to kill the journalist Jewel Aich.

The journalist Jewel in his Facebook ID shared the screenshots of the comments made by religious zealots.

It’s also to be mentioned here that Journalist Jewel played a major role in forming public opinion and resistance against the conspiracy to grab a large area of Chandranath Dham, a holy pilgrimage site for Sanatan religious people of the world in recent times. That is why the religious fundamentalists also became furious against him and made various comments in their various groups to attack and kill him.
