Now, farmer union leaders appeal to British MPs to stop UK PM visit on Bharat’s Republic Day

The farmer’s protest is descending into absurdity with each passing day and much like the Shaheen Baug protests the agenda here seems to be to project Bharat in a bad light internationally and call for foreign intervention in domestic matters.

It has now come to light that the farmer union leaders have written to British MPs asking them to dissuade UK PM Boris Johnson from attending Bharat’s Republic Day function till the demands of the protesting farmers are met. How can farmers call for international intervention in domestic matters? Will the British government tolerate British protestors if they were to write to Bharatiya MPs with a similar demand?

Earlier Canadian PM Justin Trudeau attempted to meddle in the internal affairs of Bharat when he called for the resolution of farmer grievances. It has now become a standard Modus Operandi of activists in Bharat to call for foreign intervention in our internal affairs.

It can hardly be a matter of coincidence that the Khalistani movement is now heating up and that Pakistani links have emerged in this regard. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also stepped in to probe the foreign funding that is fuelling the farmer protests.

Just like the anti-CAA protests were made into a spectacle to grab international attention project Bharat in a bad light, the anti-Bharat brigade is using the farmer’s protest as a convenient excuse to project Bharat in an unfavourable light internationally.
