World Hindu Congress 2023 curtain raiser kicks off in Mumbai in the presence of eminent personalities

The eagerly awaited World Hindu Congress (WHC) 2023, scheduled to be held in Bangkok in November this year, kicked off its curtain raiser event on Sunday at the iconic Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s BKC. This quadrennial event serves as a global platform for Hindus to come together, discuss important issues, and foster unity.

The grand commencement of the WHC 2023 witnessed the presence of prominent leaders, scholars, and distinguished personalities from various fields of Mumbai. The event not only marks the beginning of this influential conference but also includes the exciting announcement of the forthcoming World Hindu Congress 2026, which will be hosted in Mumbai.

Speaking at the event Swami Vigyananand, the organizer of the World Hindu Congress, emphasised the significance of unity, strength, and global recognition for Hindus. He stressed the need for Hindus, including intellectuals, experts, politicians, and media personalities, to come together. The World Hindu Congress 2023 serves as a timely platform to address these priorities. The conference is centered around the theme, “Jayasya Aayatanam Dharmah: Dharma, the Abode of Victory.”

Swami Vigyananand emphasized that the aim of this conference extends beyond mere discussions and debates. Its primary objective is to unite Hindus on a global platform, fostering the exchange of ideas and strengthening the collective voice of Hindus worldwide. Secretary of World Hindu Congress 2026, Swadesh Khetawat, and Political Convenor, Rashmi Samant, outlined an impactful roadmap for the future and expressed their gratitude to the community.

Previous editions of the World Hindu Congress were successfully organized in New Delhi, Bharat in 2014 and Chicago in 2018. These conferences witnessed the participation of renowned figures such as the Dalai Lama, British politician Priti Patel, American politician Tulsi Gabbard, Vice President of Bharat Venkaiah Naidu, Union Ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani, along with delegates from 60 countries.

The forthcoming World Hindu Congress is scheduled to be held on November 24-25-26 in Bangkok. Interested individuals can register for participation on the official World Hindu Congress website: https://www.worldhinducongress.org/.
