The Ramayana is an epic which recounts the struggle between good and evil. The hero Raam ultimately triumphs over the demon Ravana. Aside from its messages of right conduct, justice and good governance, the Ramayana is the story of WHOLENESS—the TOTALITY. Being the story of totality, the Ramayana includes not just profound spiritual wisdom but is also a textbook containing precise information about physiology and psychology.
Ravana has ten heads comprising the five organs of action and the five senses, which, if we neglect the deep silence of Wholeness (Raam), can lead us astray. Raam is assisted by Hanuman who carries the Gada. The Gada is shaped like the brain and spinal column. The one who holds the Gada is the mind. The mind can fly anywhere on the wings of imagination and assume any form just as Hanuman can.
So how is the Ramayana relevant to the pandemic? It reveals deep principles and the dangers contained in genetic engineering. Both the Covid virus and the Covid vaccines were created in a lab by gene editing. Genes, which make up our DNA, are understood to be the origin and building blocks of life, but DNA does not act alone. Life begins not with DNA alone but with a WHOLE single cell. The Cell comprises the Nucleus, the Cytoplasm and the Membrane. This presents the three in one structure of life that is revered in the Vedic wisdom.
The WHOLE cell has the quality of Raam, the TOTALITY, the embodiment of Vishnu, the maintainer of the universe.
The nucleus, which contains the glittering snake-like coils of DNA, is the bedrock of the operation of the whole cell. It has the steady supportive qualities of Lakshman ever awake, who is the embodiment of Sesha, the support of Vishnu.
The organisational management of the cell is contained in the cytoplasm with its 40 million proteins and hierarchical eight-fold information transfer network. It rules the physiology on behalf of the nuclear DNA just as Bharata, considered to be the embodiment of Vishnu’s conch, rules Ayodhya (the physiology) on behalf of Raam.
The protective membrane of the cell is the interface with the whole physiology. It detects the presence of pathogens and sets immune responses in motion to protect the cell from invasion, just as Shatrugna, who is considered the embodiment of Vishnu’s chakra, protects the borders of Raam’s kingdom.
These cellular qualities find their expression in the 3 in 1 structure of the physiology recognised by Ayurveda—the Balance of Kapha, Pitta and Vata and also in the organisation of the whole physiology where the skin and mucous membranes are the first line of defence along with the immune system (Shatrugna), the organ systems are the organisational structure (Bharat) and the homeostatic mechanisms the steady support (Lakshman). Together these support the expression of the Wholeness of consciousness (Raam).
Pure consciousness (Raam) is the ultimate basis of the whole physiology, but its expression in human life relies on physiology. Physiology is a reflection of the wholeness of consciousness. Mind and body, consciousness and matter are very intimately linked together, but, as the Vedic literature affirms and explains, consciousness is primary and matter secondary.
The life sciences have developed while trying to ignore consciousness. A great mistake, since consciousness is the defining characteristic of life. Human life begins with a single cell which multiplies to become 37 trillion cells, yet throughout this process we retain a single identity. Consciousness is the ultimate cause and substance of the biofield of life.
The DNA and its cellular expression is unique for each individual. The whole thrust of our immune system is to protect the individual integrity of our cells. Every day more than 70,000 repairs are completed in every cell, including repairs to DNA. Our individual identity relies on the uniform genetic integrity of our cells.
When you proceed to finer time and distance scales you come across greater power, as the discovery of nuclear energy shows. You are coming closer to the great power that drives the universe. In physiology, when you cross the cell membrane you have entered the wheelhouse of life. That first cell of human life contains our individual history and the history of our family and heritage. It contains all our drive, intelligence and capacity for love. It is the source of everything that we cherish.
Genetic engineering seeks to alter the fundamental structure and function of the cell, as do mRNA vaccines which breach the cell membrane hijacking and repurposing the functions of the cytoplasm. Implanted genetic sequences can also integrate into our DNA. Our websites, the Hatchard Report and GLOBE have published scientific evidence and analysis, and written extensively about the resulting dangers including mental illness, cancers, heart disease and neurological conditions.
Genetic engineering can alter the balanced functioning of the 3 in 1 structure of our cells. It has the potential to alter who we are and disrupt our precious human capacity to interface with the WHOLENESS of consciousness (Raam).
At the conclusion of the great battle of the Ramayana. Indrajit, the son of Ravana is beginning to perform a Yagya, if completed it will make him invincible. Raam sends Lakshman to interrupt the yagya and fight Indrajit.
A Yagya is a performance to co-opt the support of the higher laws of nature to achieve one’s purpose. A yagya connects with the subtle laws of nature hidden from our view behind the material veil. Indrajit’s name means victory over Indra, the ruler of laws of nature. Indrajit is capable of overcoming the order and organising power at the heart of the Cosmos. He is attempting to misuse the power of Yagya in order to disrupt the balance of the universe.
Indrajit cannot triumph over Raam whose eternal status as WHOLENESS is beyond the material but he can disrupt the material expression of WHOLENESS—the cell. Lakshman triumphs over Indrajit and the balance of the universe is protected. In our physiology, Indrajit represents the danger to life when the genetic structure of our cell is edited. Once edits are completed, they can never be recalled. Genetic mutation can spread without limit and cannot be reversed.
Viral pathogens seek to cross the cell membrane. They are like the destructive demonic hordes of Ravana. The immune system knows how to defend itself against viruses and ultimately T and B cells (the monkeys and bears of Raam’s army) win the battle as Raam did. But the thrust of biotechnology is to devise ways of bypassing the immune system and secretly crossing the cell membrane. mRNA injections repurpose billions of cells which threatens our physiological homeostasis, undermines our immune system response, exposes us to cancers and opens the door to organ damage. They especially affect the heart, the seat of Sita, Raam’s consort, who is abducted by Ravana in the Ramayana.
The proliferation of biotechnology poses a threat to our existence, just as the Yagya of Indrajit threatened to turn the tide of the battle. The solution to this lies in four directions. The first of these is in response to the destructive capability of biotechnology, the other three involve protecting and promoting the Vedic heritage of India:
1. There needs to be global legislation outlawing biotechnology experimentation, it is the greatest danger threatening the heritage of Vedic wisdom.
2. Methods of deep meditation and collective meditation need to be reincorporated into education as they were in antiquity. They harness the power of the mind (Hanuman) and connect us with the Wholeness of consciousness (Raam).
3. The power of Yagya, which relies on a deep knowledge of the vibrational power of sound, needs to be employed to awaken the laws of nature to protect life from degradation.
4. The use of healing plants described by Ayurveda and other traditional medical approaches around the world which really are safe, healthy and effective needs to be encouraged and used more widely, rather than the destructive approaches of allopathy.
