In a shocking incident from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, a young Muslim girl was harassed and threatened on June 7, 2025, by a group of radical Islamists from the Haidari Dal inside Gandhi Udyan Park. The girl was targeted simply because she was seen speaking to Hindu boys. Eyewitnesses report that the radicals verbally abused her, attempted to intimidate her with threats, and even tried to physically assault her. A video of the incident went viral on social media, exposing the aggressive and intolerant mindset of these extremist elements. The Bareilly Police have registered an FIR against unidentified members of the mob, and investigations are ongoing.
This is not an isolated incident. From 2018 to 2025, at least 14 such cases have been recorded where Muslim girls were harassed, beaten, or even subjected to sexual assault by radical elements within their own community for merely interacting with Hindu men. These disturbing acts are rooted in a deeply regressive and controlling mindset that seeks to restrict the freedom of Muslim women while hypocritically remaining silent when Muslim men befriend or marry Hindu girls. The radical Islamist narrative views Muslim women as the honor of the community—honor that must be protected even if it means violating their basic human rights and personal choices.
The double standards are glaring. When Muslim men engage in relationships with non-Muslim girls, radical voices call it love or even celebrate it as a form of religious propagation. But when a Muslim girl dares to speak with or befriend a Hindu boy, she is immediately branded as immoral, accused of dishonoring Islam, and is often subjected to abuse, threats, or even violence. This jihadist mentality that seeks to police women’s choices under the guise of religious purity is not only deeply misogynistic but also a clear threat to the secular and democratic fabric of the nation. It’s time society recognizes this extremist behavior for what it truly is gendered, religious radicalism and takes strong steps to counter it.
Burqa-clad Muslim girl harassed by radical group for talking to non-Muslim boy
The disturbing trend of radical Muslim youths harassing Muslim women seen with non-Muslim men has intensified, as seen in a shocking incident from Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, on July 7, 2025. In Gandhi Udyan Park, a Muslim girl wearing a burqa was publicly humiliated and threatened by a group called Haidari Dal—a self-styled Islamist vigilante group that claims to protect Islamic values and the sanctity of the burqa.
A viral video, widely shared on Instagram and social media, shows the girl being encircled and interrogated by Muslim men for allegedly being seen with a Hindu boy. One of them aggressively asks, “What is your name? Where do you live? What are the names of your father and brother?” before shouting, “You’ll engage in immoral acts here if no one from your house stops you?” The group also took details about the boy she was with. Shockingly, the girl’s personal information, including name and address, was later shared publicly online, putting her safety at further risk.
Several such videos featuring members of Haidari Dal confronting Muslim girls in public spaces have emerged recently. These self-declared moral police circulate their activities under the false narrative of countering the so-called Bhagwa Love Trap, a conspiracy theory pushed by Islamist circles to demonize interfaith friendships involving Hindu men. Hindu organisations have protested this growing menace, with activist Himanshu Patel lodging a formal complaint on the social media platform X. Acting upon this, Kotwali-area Inspector Nitin Rana confirmed that an FIR has been registered against unidentified members of Haidari Dal.
Muslim girl and Hindu youth assaulted by mob; girl publicly shamed
In a horrifying act of religious extremism and gendered violence, a Muslim girl and a Hindu man were brutally assaulted by a radical Muslim mob near Meenakshi Chowk in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, on April 12, 2025. The girl, wearing a burqa, was riding pillion on a bike with a Hindu co-worker when they were stopped and surrounded by a group of more than half a dozen Muslim youths. The mob dragged them off the vehicle and beat them mercilessly in public.
In a particularly shameful act, the girl’s burqa was forcefully removed, exposing her in public and subjecting her to humiliation. Her hair was pulled, her clothes were torn, and she was verbally abused. All of this happened in broad daylight. A video of the attack went viral on social media, showing the shocking brutality and religious bigotry involved.
The victim, a Muslim woman from Khalapar locality, worked as a collection agent for a finance company. Sachin, a Hindu man from Ismailpur village (Shamli district), also worked for the same company. On the day of the incident, Sachin had come to the woman’s house to pick up her daughter to help with a loan collection assignment. The two were merely commuting for work purposes when they were targeted. Following the viral video and public outcry, the Muzaffarnagar police registered a case based on the girl’s complaint and arrested six accused individuals. However, this incident starkly reveals how radical Islamist elements are not only attacking interfaith relationships but also punishing professional and social interactions under the guise of protecting religion and modesty, targeting women with particular cruelty.
Hindu Boy and Muslim girl assaulted in park by moral policing mob

When she refused to provide it, she was threatened with dire consequences.
The video of the incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking public outrage. Police responded by arresting five individuals involved in the attack: Wasim, Mansoor, Afridi, Mahin, and a minor. The incident also triggered political responses. Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge condemned the attack, stating that Karnataka was a progressive state and would not tolerate such acts, unlike what he claimed occurred in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, or Madhya Pradesh. His statement, however, drew sharp criticism from leaders in those states. UP BJP responded by asserting that such lawlessness was not tolerated in their state and accused the Congress-led Karnataka government of appeasement. MP Minister Vishwas Sarang accused Kharge of dragging Madhya Pradesh into the issue to deflect from his own state’s law and order failures, while the Bihar BJP termed Kharge’s remarks as highly objectionable.

Hindu-Muslim friendship met with violence
On March 22, 2018, in Kalaburagi district of Karnataka, a Muslim girl was attacked for merely giving a lift to her Hindu male friend on a scooter. Six Muslim men intercepted them on the way to college, beat up both of them, snatched the girl’s phone and ₹2,500, and recorded a video of the incident to further shame them online.
The video was made viral deliberately to intimidate the girl and send a message to others. Later, the same accused reached the girl’s house and threatened her with dire consequences if she took any action. A case was finally filed under IPC Sections 506, 341, 34, 504, 394, and 323. The incident highlighted how Hindu boys are relentlessly attacked for maintaining even casual friendships with Muslim girls, under the excuse of religious honor.
Time and again, Bharat has witnessed horrifying incidents where radical Islamists have brutally assaulted Hindu men and women simply for interacting with members of their community. These are not isolated incidents; they represent a chilling pattern of Islamist dominance, moral policing, and communal hatred. From public beatings and hijab-pulling to gang rape and blackmail, the attacks are ruthless and systematic. And what is more painful? When Hindu women are assaulted, raped, lured, converted, or even murdered, the silence of the so-called secular establishment is deafening. There are no candle marches, no loud outrage on national TV, because the perpetrators are not Hindus.
The hypocrisy is blatant. If a Muslim girl is seen with a Hindu boy, she’s labeled immoral, beaten, dragged to police stations, or even forced to make false statements. But when Hindu girls are preyed upon by jihadi grooming gangs, manipulated through love jihad, blackmailed with obscene videos, or converted under fear and pressure, mainstream voices vanish. Our tolerance is being mistaken for weakness. Our silence is seen as surrender. The Islamist strategy is clear: to dominate, to infiltrate, and to destroy from within. They use religion as a weapon, and women as pawns in their ideological war.
It is time Hindus draw the line. We must educate our daughters, protect our sons, and organize fearlessly against such inhuman violence. We need to expose this jihad socially, legally, and culturally. Hindus must no longer remain passive in the face of rising Islamist aggression. This is not about hate; it is about survival. When our sisters are attacked, when our boys are lynched for love or friendship, when our faith is mocked and our temples burned, how much more can a civilization tolerate? The time to stand, speak, and act is now. We owe it to our ancestors, our future generations, and to dharma itself.
