A disturbing case of love jihad has surfaced in Sitamarhi, in which Mohammad Aneesh, hailing from the Rajopatti area, is accused of trapping a minor Hindu girl from Gorakhpur. The man intended to force the girl into prostitution. An FIR has been filed based on the victim’s statement, leading to the arrest of the accused. Following counselling, arrangements are being made to return the victim home safely.
Suchitra Kumari, the head of the women’s police station, stated that the girl is terrified and has bravely recounted the horrors she endured. She explained how the accused, pretending to be a Hindu, ensnared her in his love trap and subjected her to his lustful desires.
According to police sources, the two initially connected on Instagram, where their relationship ‘blossomed’ to the extent that the girl was brainwashed into running away from home under the man’s influence and reached Sitamarhi. However, upon meeting the victim in person, the truth about the man’s identity came to light.
Mohammad Aneesh arranged for the girl to travel from Gorakhpur to Patna and then to Sitamarhi, where he confined her in a hotel and raped her. Realizing the deception, the girl attempted to escape, but the accused chased her.
The passers-by became suspicious after seeing the girl running wildly and crying. They informed the police and people of Bachpan Bachao Andolan. The police took Aneesh into custody. The girl was taken to the women’s police station and given counselling.
Upon learning the truth, enraged locals severely beat Aneesh and handed him over to the Dumra police station. The victim revealed that the Muslim youth had initially befriended her on Instagram by posing as a Hindu, trapping her in his deceptive love web.
