Minor girl groomed since she was 13 taken from Bihar to Hyderabad by Muslim ‘boyfriend’, recovered

Grooming of Hindu girls has been going on unabated even as the secular cabal has been trying its best to turn grooming into a ‘law and order’ problem or worse a ‘creation’ of ‘Hindutvawadis’. The latest case of a minor being groomed for four years since she was 13 years old is reported (Tweet archived here) from Bihar’s Purnia. The distressed family has appealed for help.

The girl is said to have ‘eloped’ to Hyderabad with her ‘boyfriend’. Journalist Subhi Vishwakarma alleges inspector Miraz Hussain is attempting to cover up the case by stating that the girl is a major even though she is only 17 years old as confirmed by her marksheet. Hindu activist Satish Mylavarapu has shared her marksheet and refuted claims of Hussain saying the girl is 19 years old. He has also said they would approach the court with the certficates proving that the girl is a minor.

In the meanwhile, the girl, who hails from the Agarwal community, and Mohammad Faraz have put out a video. The couple says they are in a ‘relationship’ since four years. The girl says she informed her family about Faraz and wanting to marry him but her family didn’t accept their relationship. She added that she had to ‘elope’ as her family was against their ‘relationship’ and were now pressurizing them.

The girl says Faraz’s family had no ‘knowledge’ about the couple’s plans. “I’m being pressurized by her family who is getting help from politicians they know. Even my family is being troubled and they are finding it difficult to do business. We appeal to the government to help us”, Faraz says in the video.

Subhi appealed to child’s right body NCPCR (National Commission for Protection of Child Rights) to investigate the matter. She also confirmed that the Hyderabad police took the couple into custody yesterday night and the minor’s father is on his way to Hyderabad. However, if the girl refuses to accompany her father, she would be sent to a shelter home.

The Agarwal family had succeeded in warding off Faraz four years ago but they were unaware he had been grooming their daughter. When she didn’t return home on November 25, they began searching for her. However, when she was nowhere to be found, the family suspected Faraz’s hand in her disappearance and confronted Faraz’s family. His brother and father run a medical shop in the area.

Hindu activists have alleged that the girl’s family was threatened by a mob of 300 Muslims who gathered after her father confronted Faraz’s family. Her father approached the police along with members of Hindu organizations. The family accused the police of deliberately making them wait for more than an hour by inspector Miraz Hussain under the pretext of searching for the girl. The family also believes this was done so that Faraz could reach Siliguri and escape with the minor to Hyderabad. Protests were organized by the family and Hindu organization against the police.
