Another incident has come to light which shows the deep-rooted radicalization of Indian Muslim society, including the educated, white-collar class. And it once again warns Hindu society that whatever be the political alliances we indulge in for short-term gains under the facade of ‘secularism’, ultimately the Islamist menace will spare none.

A Hindu boy, son of one Harimohan Yadav, was forcefully circumcised by a doctor named Javed Khan in Bareilly, UP. The two and half-year-old child had been admitted to Khan’s hospital for a tongue surgery as he was unable to speak. But instead of carrying out the required surgery, Dr. Khan is alleged to have circumcised the toddler as a way of converting him to Islam – all Muslim male kids undergo the rite of khatna (circumcision), mainly to follow the sunnah (practice) of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad.

The shocked father Harimohan Yadav, a carpenter by profession, alleged that Dr. Khan’s hospital had deliberately done this to convert the child from Hindu to Muslim. He added that the hospital authorities were pressuring him to compromise, but he wanted action to be taken against the accused doctor so that such an incident should not occur with anyone else again.

Hindu organisations like Hindu Jagran Manch came to the family’s support and protested outside the hospital. The accused doctor claimed that he was told that the child had ‘urinary tract problems’ and that is why he did the circumcision.

SP City Rahul Bhati said that the family had taken their minor son for tongue surgery at Dr M Khan Hospital located under the Baradari police station area. There the baby has been circumcised instead of performing a tongue operation. He added that a committee has been formed to examine the application.

In latest news, the probe committee held responsible Dr. Javed Khan and his hospital responsible for wrongfully circumcising the boy and suspended his practising license. The committee has said that it would be submitting a detailed probe report soon.

Where are the Samajwadis?

The Samajwadi Party (SP), helmed by the late Mulayam Singh Yadav (MSY) and his family, claims to be the representative of the entire Yadav community. So why is it conspicuously absent from protesting this horrific case, in support of carpenter Harimohan Yadav? Why is it that only the Hindutva organisations like Hindu Jagran Manch, Bajrang Dal, VHP are seen on the ground in cases of Hindu persecution like this?

Let’s try to understand the skewed socio-political dynamics that our multi-party system and the vision of Nehruvian secularism have produced in this Republic.

SP’s core votebank is the Muslim-Yadav alliance. What does a ‘secular’ Indian party do to woo the Muslim vote? It panders to the most fundamentalist and fanatic elements in the Indian Muslim polity – like Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and Jamaat-e-Islami – as they have a vicelike grip on the community and can deliver the Muslim vote as a solid block.

The Yadavs, a Hindu OBC community, are told that voting for SP will ensure them a lion’s share of all the freebies and goodies the secular Indian state has to offer – quotas, govt jobs, subsidies, loans, etc. Of course, the main interest of the MSY clan is to plunder as much loot as they can once they gain power; how much the ordinary Yadav benefits from their rule, or an ordinary Jatav benefits from BSP rule, is debatable.

Now, here’s the thing. Once you make a deal with the Islamist monster, you can escape its venom for only so long. Ultimately, the monster will turn on you one day. And that is what the ordinary Yadav, and every Hindu community, including the general category (aka ‘upper caste’) voters of Congress/TMC, have to be reminded of again and again.

‘Secularism’ offers you a false moral high ground to justify pursuit of naked self-interest in form of freebies from the Indian state; you will be told non-stop by ‘secular’ netas that the threat to the nation comes from those ‘communal Hindus’, and not the radicalized minorities who are your alliance partners. But for the radicalized minorities, you remain a kafir/pagan, coincidental alignment of temporary interests notwithstanding. And in the end, you will be treated like all other kafirs/pagans. You only need to ask the likes of Harimohan Yadav & Bharat Yadav.

Bottomline – do not throw your future generations under the bus for the promise of some material benefits today.
