A Christian Headmaster has been arrested for sexually assaulting a 7th-grade girl in Tamil Nadu. He was caught by the locals as he tried to escape in his car. Angry locals thrashed him before handing him over to the police.
Lawrence (48), works as the Headmaster in a Municipal Middle School in a hill hamlet in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu. 102 students go to this school and 49 of them are girls. 3 teachers working in the school went to attend a counselling session in Krishnagiri on April 29. Only Lawrence was present in the school.
Taking advantage of the situation he called a 7th grade girl to his office on the pretext of seeking help to take out notebooks from the cupboard and sexually assaulted her. The victim told about it to her parents who along with relatives thrashed Lawrence. When he tried to escape in his car the angry crowd broke the windows.
Later the victim’s parents lodged a complaint with the police and he was booked under POCSO. District Education Officer, Regional Education Officer and other concerned officials conducted an inquiry in the school about the incident and suspended Lawrence.
In April 2022, 2 Christian teachers from 2 different Christian schools aided by the government were arrested for sexually abusing minor girls.
Christian teachers in government schools have been forcing children to read the Bible and pray to Jesus. A News18 investigate report revealed that in schools, tuition centres and through Value Education classes non-Christian children are brainwashed and force fed Christian thoughts and beliefs. Many students said that they were frightened by their teachers that they’ll not get good marks and that their body will be deformed if they pray to any god other than Jesus.
Apart from proselytising to children through countless missionary schools and sexualy abusing them, evangelistic Christians occupy a large number of positions in the education department as well and use it to their advantage.
