In a disturbing incident unfolding in Ajmer, Rajasthan, a longstanding Hindu shopkeeper, Gopal, has become the target of relentless harassment and threats from Islamists. Gopal, who has been operating his shop for the past four decades, finds himself besieged by Islamist individuals identified as Mohammad Javed and Hakim, who have orchestrated a campaign of intimidation aimed at forcing him to vacate his premises.
According to Gopal, the harassment from the Islamists has escalated to the point where he faced daily harassment and intimidation, with the perpetrators purportedly intent on usurping his shop. The relentless pressure exerted by these individuals has left Gopal fearful for his safety and livelihood as he struggles to defend his right to continue operating his business.
Local Hindus have rallied behind Gopal, denouncing the actions of the Islamist aggressors and demanding immediate intervention from the authorities. Accusing the Islamist goons of instigating chaos and unrest in the community, Hindu residents have called for stringent action to be taken against those responsible for targeting Gopal and jeopardizing his livelihood. In response, Ajmer Police replied saying, “The police station officer concerned has been informed about the above matter.”
