“Communists withdrew protests against Congress govt in Kerala after a journalist ‘brokered’ deal. The journalist then became an MP. Read about ‘solar scam’ of 2013”, Opindia, May 21, 2024:

“Amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the political landscape in Kerala has been on the boil by the new revelations made about the 2013 solar scandal. The allegations laid down by senior journalist John Mundakayam suggest that a behind-the-scene deal was made between CPI(M) and the then-Congress-led government to end the siege over the scandal.

The controversy started after Mundakayam disclosed that he and Kairali TV’s managing director John Brittas posed as mediators in brokering a deal between Congress and CPI(M). He alleged that Brittas, who later became CPI(M) Rajya Sabha MP, approached him to communicate CPI(M)’s willingness to end the siege of the state secretariat if the then-Congress-led government announced a judicial probe into the solar scandal.

On 11th August 2013, CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) demanded the resignation of then-Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. They also demanded a judicial investigation into the scandal. However, the protests were called off abruptly within two days after the government initiated a judicial probe…..”

“Exclusive: Read how Newsclick man who handed over Chinese money to Sharjeel Imam, was in Delhi Riots planning group, is connected to Congress, Soros”, Opindia, May 22, 2024:

“On the 5th of December 2019, a conspiracy to burn Delhi began to be hatched, leading eventually to the Delhi anti-Hindu riots. The conspiracy aimed to pull down the central government, target Hindus, create communal fear in the country and attack its sovereignty. The conspiracy led to waves of violence in Delhi and across the country.

First, violence erupted in December 2019 and after low-level violence for almost 3 months, the rioters learnt their lessons from the 2019 violence, fine-tuned their plan, and executed the anti-Hindu riots of February 2020. As the conspiracy of the 2020 riots was being hatched, another conspiracy was afoot almost simultaneously. Leftists like Prabir Pukayashta of NewsClick along with several others, were being funded by China to create disaffection in India, end democracy and attack India’s sovereignty and independence.

It is only now, in May 2024, that are beginning to understand how these two seemingly independent conspiracies were deeply intertwined, with the participation of the Congress party evident in both these cases…..”

A tragic incident occurred in Maharashtra’s Nagpur, where a 24-year-old woman named Pallavi Mahajan was found dead after being struck by a train. The police have labelled it as an attempted suicide, but Pallavi’s father, Nandkishore Mahajan, insists it was murder. He accuses Irfan, a man who had been in contact with Pallavi, and his accomplices of being responsible for her death.

Nandkishore Mahajan filed a First Information Report (FIR number: 520/2024) at Nagpur Railway Police Station on 7 May. According to the FIR, the Mahajan family has lived in Nagpur’s Katol for 24 years.

Pallavi had been under stress and had attempted suicide by taking sleeping pills on 3 May 2024. She was treated at a rural hospital in Katol and later transferred to Chirayu Hospital in Nagpur. After her discharge on May 4, Pallavi confided in her father about her relationship with Irfan, their neighbour, for the past two and a half years. She expressed her desire to marry Irfan, but the latter had allegedly threatened her and refused to marry her.

On the evening of 4 May, Pallavi left home around 6:30 PM on a scooty and did not return. Her family tried to contact her but could not reach her. Worried, they began searching for her. Around midnight, they learned about her death. Pallavi’s mother came home crying and said, “Apli Pallavi geli” (Our Pallavi is gone).

The police arrested Irfan on 5 May 2024, based on the FIR filed by Nandkishore Mahajan. After the post-mortem, Pallavi was cremated according to Hindu rituals. Nandkishore holds Irfan Ali accountable for driving his daughter to suicide and has filed a legal complaint against him under Section 306 (abetment to suicide) of the IPC.

In an interview on 21 May, Nandkishore stated that the family was unaware of Pallavi’s association with Irfan. He clarified that Pallavi had taken sleeping pills due to Irfan’s refusal to marry her after nearly two years of courtship but insisted she did not commit suicide. Nandkishore accused Irfan and others, including Avinash and Suraj Charde, of manipulating his daughter and ultimately murdering her.

The gruesome discovery of Pallavi’s dismembered body on the railway tracks led Nandkishore to blame Irfan Ali for this heinous act. Attempts to contact the investigating officer, ASI Nilam Chirkutrao Dongre, were unsuccessful.

In a related case from Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly district, a minor Hindu girl was pushed in front of a running train by Mohammad Fariyad, resulting in her death. The victim’s body was found in two pieces, and her family alleged that she was taken to a mosque, converted and raped before being murdered. The Bareilly police arrested the accused, and investigations are underway.

The victim’s mother, Usha, informed the police about the incident. She recounted how a group of Muslim men, including Mohammad Fariyad, had killed her 14-year-old daughter. On 8 May, the victim’s school informed her parents that she had received low marks in a subject and needed to complete an improvement form.

On her way to the school, she met Fariyad, who offered her a ride. However, instead of taking her to school, Fariyad took her to the railway bridge near the Bahgul River. Local media reported that Fariyad physically assaulted the victim and then pushed her in front of an oncoming train, leading to her instant death.

New Delhi, May 23 (IANS) First made-in-India surgical robotic system SSI Mantra, developed by SS Innovations, has successfully performed 100 robotic cardiac surgery procedures, the company announced on Thursday.

“Reaching this milestone with the SSI Mantra is another notch in SS Innovations’ strategic market expansion — transforming practices, enhancing access, and driving the widespread use of robotic surgery,” said Dr Sudhir Srivastava, Chairman and CEO, SS Innovations.

“The SSI Mantra’s innovative design, featuring a fifth arm capability, uniquely enables it to perform complex cardiac surgeries — a high-demand market previously without an effective robotic solution. Cardiac surgery often still requires a maximally invasive approach that involves splitting the patient’s sternum to gain access,” he added.

The advanced SSI Mantra system, used in more than 1,000 procedures globally, has successfully executed procedures such as Totally Endoscopic Coronary Artery Bypass (TECAB), Internal Mammary Artery (IMA) Takedown, Mitral Valve Replacement, and Bilateral Internal Mammary Artery (BIMA) Takedown.

The system aims for “precise execution, less trauma, reduced blood loss, quicker recoveries, and lower cost and superior overall outcomes,” Dr Srivastava said, adding that the company is anticipating US FDA and CE Mark approval in Europe in early 2025.

According to ResearchAndMarkets, the global surgical robotics market size was valued at $78.8 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $188.8 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 9.1 per cent from 2023 to 2032.

CPM builds memorial for bomb makers in Kannur; party secretary skips inauguration

Fearing controversy, Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM) Kerala State Secretary M. V. Govindan skipped the inauguration of a martyr’s memorial built by the CPM leadership for those who died in the explosion while assembling crude bombs in Kannur’s Panoor Chettakandi. Instead, District Secretary M.V. Jayarajan led several local communist leaders, inaugurated the memorial and justified the bomb-making cadre.

Earlier, it was decided that Govindan would participate in the event. The CPM leadership had also put up boards and banners announcing that Govindan would attend. There was a controversy over declaring those killed in the bomb blast as martyrs. But when the district unit asserted that the deceased were martyrs, the state unit also yielded to it.

On 6 June 2015, CPM workers Shaiju and Subish were killed while assembling crude bombs in a deserted field in Chettakandi. Four Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) workers were also injured. DYFI is CPM’s quasi-militant wing allegedly entrusted with the political outfit’s dirty work, including political killings.

In connection with the incident, the then-party secretary, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, said that the party had nothing to do with it and that CPM had no responsibility to answer. But the then CPM district secretary, P. Jayarajan, claimed that both died defending their political opponents.

Since the memorial’s fundraising campaign got underway in 2016, there has been a lot of public scrutiny. The CPM, however, moved forward with the plan, stating that Shaiju and Subish were the targets of a politically motivated attack rather than being involved in the manufacture of bombs. Former district secretary P. Jayarajan, who views the two as martyrs for their involvement in opposing RSS activities, has backed this position.

The party also discussed the district secretary’s rejection of the state secretary’s decision. The CPM has organised commemorative programs in the area since the first anniversary of their death. Govindan’s absence comes amid allegations that the memorial commemorates individuals who were killed while making bombs.

Since the CPM itself has taken the initiative to build a memorial for those who died during the blast, it is confirmed that bomb construction is going on in the Kannur district with the knowledge and consent of the party leadership. Govindan’s withdrawal will ignite a new controversy in the Kannur district unit.

Jayarajan attacked the former United Democratic Front government for bringing a ‘fake’ case about the incident. He declared that the explosion was not the result of bomb-making.

Regarded as martyrs, Shaiju and Subish lost their lives in battle against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), he claimed. He restated the CPM’s insistence on a thorough investigation into the explosion.

What is stopping the CPM? Who is in power? It remains suspicious. Will the CPM leadership allow a central agency to investigate such blasts?

Earlier this month, HinduPost reported how CPM was testing whether they can make Sherin (26), who was killed in the explosion while handling crude bombs in Muliyanthode near Panoor in Kannur district, also a martyr. The blast that took place on 5 April resulted in the loss of one life and injured three others in the Kunnothparamba area of Panoor in Kannur district.

The police remand report stated that the intention behind the bombs that went off in Panoor was to cause unrest in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections (voting took place on 26 April). However, the communist party denied any involvement in the blast.

While inaugurating the memorial, Jayarajan said the death of Shaiju and Subish could not be compared with the Kunnothaparamba explosion during the Assembly election. The party had condemned it. It was the fallout of a rivalry between two gangs.

Communists assembling bombs that go off are whitewashed as battles against the RSS and inter-gang rivalry in Kerala.

Incidentally, it is not just the RSS but Congress workers and communist rebels who have faced similar violence at the hands of Kerala communists. Will such memorials encourage communist violence and fascism?
