Who is ISI asset & Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh alias ‘Landa’?

Police have arrested five associates of terrorist Lakhbir Singh alias Landa, who carried out criminal and terrorist activities in Bharat while sitting in Canada. Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav said that three pistols have been seized from them. DGP has written in a post on Twitter, “A major success has been achieved against organized crime. Jalandhar Commissionerate Police has arrested five associates of Lakhbir alias Landa.”

DGP said that with this, the number of arrested members of the Landa gang has increased to 13. This gang is involved in murder, extortion and many criminal activities in many districts of Punjab. Police arrested three henchmen of the Landa gang on June 10 and 5 henchmen on June 30. Lakhbir Singh Landa is an active member of Khalistani group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). Last year, the Home Ministry had declared him a terrorist.

The Home Ministry notification read, “Lakhbir Singh alias Landa, who currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, belongs to Babbar Khalsa International. Landa, supported by the cross-border agency, was involved in terrorist attacks through shoulder-mounted rocket-propelled grenades.” 34-year-old Landa had planned a rocket attack on the Punjab Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali in 2021. He was involved in several terrorist activities.

Story of Landa: Connection with Khalistani organizations to ISI of Pakistan

Lakhbir Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran district of Punjab, used to work for a gang. He used to carry weapons from one place to another, according to their instructions. Since he was a newcomer and had no history sheet, the police did not suspect him. However, in 2011, a case was registered against him under the Arms Act for the first time. In just 12 years, Lakhbir Singh has transformed from a gangster to a terrorist Lakhbir Singh Landa.

Cases have been registered against him in more than 20 cases, including conspiracy to carry out rocket attacks in Mohali and Tarn Taran in Punjab. It is alleged that he had carried out rocket attacks on the Punjab Police Headquarters in Mohali and the Sarahali police station in Tarn Taran in the year 2022. He is currently carrying out anti-Bharat activities in Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. His henchmen are carrying out terrorist and criminal acts in Punjab.

After his name was registered in the police file, the list of Lakhbir Singh Landa’s misdeeds kept getting longer. His name started appearing in most of the crimes, including death threats, extortion, ransom, attempts to murder, murder smuggling of weapons and drugs. The last case registered against him was a kidnapping case in Mogi, Punjab, in 2016. After that, the police tightened its grip so much that Landa fled from Bharat.

In 2017, a Khalistani terrorist living in Pakistan went to Canada with the help of Harvinder Singh alias Rinda. Stories of his exploits had reached before he went there. This is the reason why the terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa International allowed him to join them. It was in Canada that he came in contact with the ISI. Its agents keep looking for such gangsters. With their help, they try to carry out terrorist activities in Bharat.

On the instructions of ISI, Lakhbir Singh Landa started smuggling weapons from Pakistan to Bharat. His henchmen smuggle guns and drugs through drones on the Punjab border. Dangerous explosive devices like IEDs are brought from across the border. These are used for terrorist attacks. Landa has now become an enemy of his own country by helping Pakistan in carrying out its evil intentions.
