This is certainly a poor alteration of Amir Khusrau’s couplet about Kashmir but I was referring to the spate of anti-Hindu slaughter orchestrated by Islamists in the name of freedom and jihad. If this violates your idea of how poetry should be untouched and left as it is, read no further because your privileged world is far away from reality.

Kill the Kafirs!

Today after the killing of a bank employee Vijay Kumar hailing from Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, working in the Ellaquai Dehati Bank at Areh Mohanpora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district, many concerned non-local Hindus started leaving the Kashmir valley out of fear for their lives.

The incident was recorded on CCTV where a masked militant was seen shooting at Vijay, who got married just 45 days ago, from point-blank range. This video was widely circulated, creating a sense of paranoia and disdain among the Hindus living there. Hordes of people lined up at airports, bus stations, and taxi terminals to leave the valley as soon as possible.

Islamist outfit, Kashmir Freedom Fighters (KFF) released a statement through their spokesperson Waseem Mir that they take full responsibility for the attack and threatened Hindus with dire consequences of a possible demographic change.

Islamism & the fake Hindutva narrative

A similar letter was posted on social media after the killing of Mrs. Rajni Bala on Tuesday. She was a native of Samba in Jammu and worked as a teacher in the government school in Kulgam for the last 5 years. 

The letter blamed the government’s ‘ploy’ of bringing about a demographic change and accused Hindus of destabilizing the valley by indulging in activities like possessing petrol bombs. All these accusations were nothing but just another failed attempt to hide the monster of Islamism and Islamic terrorism while blaming Hindus for their own deaths. Added to this is the continuous peddling of ‘Peaceful Community’ and ‘Terrorism Has No Religion’ narratives. 

The recent killings were also attributed to the success of Kashmir Files saying that the film ‘fueled hatred’ between Hindus and the ‘peaceful community’ of Kashmiri Muslims. Chameli Devi Jain Award for Women Journalists winner and full-time Hinduphobic Twitter troll, Arfa Khanum Sherwani justified these killings on her show as a response to ‘hate’ spewed by the film and almost gave a clean chit to the actual perpetrators, i.e. the Islamists.

Hindu genocide enabler and famous for touring on a motorcycle with Shabana Azmi during the peak of anti-Hindu carnage in the valley during the 1990s, former CM Farooq Abdullah shamelessly declared on camera, ‘Abhi to sab maare jayenge’ (Everyone’s gonna get killed). Last month he had denied the Pandit genocide by claiming that BK Ganjoo’s death portrayed in the movie was fictional and went on to proclaim “Will a Muslim ever kill a Hindu and feed his wife the blood-soaked rice? Never. Impossible’” The 85-year-old leader was once quoted as saying that he is afraid to talk to women now for the fear of getting jailed.

His son Omar and his political opponent Mehbooba gave out statements along the same lines. The Indian left with all its affiliates and Islamists wasted no time sending out pacifist remarks about how hate overpowers love and how the divisive policies of a Hindutva regime in the Centre have caused this mayhem. No one thought about blaming the militants, terrorists, their sleeper cells, Islamism, and radical Islam in general.

Hinduphobia & Jihad

2022 has turned out to be the worst year for non-Muslims in Kashmir. With the recent killings of Rahul Bhatt (who supported Rohingya’s right to migration and was very liberal in his opinions), a cop and his daughters were shot at, 4 people had died in the attack on Vaishno Devi yatra, and many other ‘small’ and big killings on Sikh and Gujjars. Not to forget the targeted killings of Hindu-Sikh teachers last year. 

Added to this, is the lack of apathy and humanity among prominent Muslim scholars and influencers on social media including the infamous Sharjeel Usmani, Zubair, and Hussain Haidery, who have been time and again found spreading anti-Hindu propaganda. These influencers are read and quoted by many radical, unemployed, and brainwashed (read madarsa raised) youth to justify their violence.

Famous Instagram news curator and self-proclaimed tree hugger Faye D’souza, who posts news copied from various places on a grey background, was suspiciously silent on these killings until Vijay’s murder triggered panic. It’s strange as she has reported the deaths of two famous singers and news about a Meta director among other ‘just news’ posts. Similarly, monkey balancing master and gaslighting expert on Hindu trauma, RJ Sayema also seemed to have lost her voice against this oppression. The list continues with many silent celebrities and not to mention some outright bigots celebrating the death of social media.

Since the removal of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, more than 90 civilians and more than 100 security personnel have been killed by Islamists. The army has been active in counter operations as well, but the government represented there by Governor Manoj Sinha has mostly been adopting the policy of restraint.

As of June 1, 2022, 62 terrorists are said to be neutralized by the security forces, out of which 39 belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba (translated as ‘Army of the Righteous’), 15 of them belonged to Pakistan based and sponsored Jaish-e-Muhammad (translated as ‘Army of Muhammad’) and 8 belonged to locally active organizations like Al-Badr and Hizbul Mujahideen. 

The Kashmir issue is not at all about independence now. The demographics slowly changed under a millennium-old tactic of Jihad and now all they want is to bleed Bharat with a thousand cuts. Jihad is all about the entire Ummah and creating one nationhood for Muslims, however unreasonable and illogical that may sound.

To understand this, look at the map of the Arabian peninsula which is itself divided into 7 countries. One culture, one language, one racial identity, yet divided into 7. There is no unity in the Muslim world. Then what is an Ummah after all? A wet dream of Islamists in the Bharatiya subcontinent that stems from Hindu hatred and a dream of Ghazwa-e-Hind, which has not succeeded in the last 1400 years and will never in the future.
