CPM & Congress leaders attend PFI leader’s ‘Ayurvedic hospital’ inauguration

A long queue of CPM and Congress leaders was seen during the inauguration of a controversial PFI-linked Ayurveda hospital near Pathanamthitta, Kerala. It belonged to Dr. Fousina Thaqbeer, the wife of banned Popular Front of India (PFI) top terrorist Sadiq Ahmed. CPM leaders, including their Pathanamthitta district committee members, and Congress leaders, including the Pathanamthitta District Congress Committee (DCC) office bearers, participated in the ceremony.

In September, Ahmed, the PFI Pathanamthitta District Secretary, was arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) officers in a pre-dawn raid. Incidentally, Dr. Thaqbeer is also an active and vocal member of the banned terror outfit, PFI. She is a Pathanamthitta district committee member of the National Women’s Front (NWF), the women’s wing of the PFI. Though the NWF was also banned, Dr. Thaqbeer had publicly criticized the NIA’s investigation, yet no action was initiated against her.

Pathanamthitta Municipality Chairman and CPM Pathanamthitta district committee member Adv. T Zakir Husain and other CPM leaders participated in the event. The opposition leader in the municipal council, Jasimkutty, and other Congress workers attended the inauguration. Pathanamthitta is a municipal corporation that CPM retained with the support of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), PFI’s political wing. The SDPI has not yet been banned.

There are only two Muslim members in the CPM Pathanamthitta district committee out of 34, and Husain is one of them. Such is the clout that the green communists hold in the district, allegedly why he was chosen as the Pathanamthitta Municipality Chairman.

These collaborations between the PFI terrorists and the local CPM/Congress leaders are allegedly why NIA avoided the Kerala police during the raids and arrests of top PFI leaders. Recent developments show that their collusions continue.

Last month, NIA informed the Court that it needs to probe the foreign funding of PFI. 11 PFI terrorists booked under UAPA, including Ahmed, were sent to 21 days of judicial custody for interrogation.

PFI and its related individuals and organizations indulged in criminal conspiracy with an intent to disturb communal harmony, spread terror, incite communal riots, impart training to their cadre to use explosives and weapons, form a terrorist gang, and collect deadly weapons and explosive devices to launch attacks on many political leaders and sensitive locations simultaneously. The criminal conspiracy and activities in several of these cases could threaten the nation’s unity, integrity, and sovereignty, read the NIA remand copy against Ahmed and other PFI co-conspirators. Yet, the communists and Congress are openly supporting these terror operatives.

Political observers note that the deceit and greed involved in the communist rule could shame even the tukde-tukde gang. CPM has just 11 public representatives in the 32-member Pathanamthitta Municipality. In the 2020 local body elections, CPM won with the support of Congress rebels and a coalition partner (with two seats), while Congress lost after ten long years in power. The Congress has 13 members.

A secret pact with CPM meant that SDPI (with three seats) stayed away from the Chairman elections. Later, the SDPI confessed that they supported a rebel Congress candidate. This meant that the whole alliance was part of a preplanned covert deal. Though the SDPI is the silent partner here, SDPI and CPM are open allies in several other wards. Congress knows that the SDPI could take a U-turn anytime and is waiting for an opportunity.

Earlier, HinduPost reported that communists and Jihadis are two sides of the same coin. They are allies and jointly rule the Kottangal Municipality in Pathanamthitta. For the Hindus in the region, democratic voting does not appear to work. Incidents like the hospital inauguration are tight slaps on the faces of ‘secular’ Hindus who claim that PFI is done and dusted in the state.
