Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan rushes to USA for medical treatment – betrayal of proletariat!

Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan has gone for treatment of an unknown disease to a hospital in the ‘ultra-capitalist’ United States of America.

Ordinary workers in Kerala visit government medical facilities and the petite bourgeoisie (the social class that’s made up of merchants and white-collar workers) visit 5-star private hospitals, but ironically our communist rulers prefer up-scale hospitals in the United States of America. The first two classes have to settle medical bills on their own but the rulers get full expenses paid trips, the burden of which falls on the ordinary tax-payer.

Kerala state government issued an order permitting Politburo member and Kerala Chief Minister Comrade Pinarayi Vijayan to receive medical treatment at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He will leave for the US on January 15 and will be accompanied by his wife Kamala and a personal assistant and is expected to return on the 29th. The order added that all expenses in connection with the medical check-up will be borne by the state exchequer.

Waqf and Haj pilgrimage and Sports minister V Abdurahiman attended a medical check-up and further treatment at Johns Hopkins Outpatient Centre, in Maryland, USA on December 26 and was supposed to stay there for 20 days. He was back in action sooner than anticipated, leaving citizens wondering about the seriousness of his ailment.

Abdurahiman was recently seen alongside Kerala PWD and tourism minister P. A. Mohammed Riyas (Vijayan’s son-in-law) and ex Waqf and Haj minister KT Jaleel, inaugurating a 200 meters flyover that took 6 years to complete. The location was Malappuram and thousands gathered for the event. Covid protocols went for a toss even as people returning from other countries were under one week quarantine. What exact exemptions these leaders have is unknown since police refused to register cases against them and their ideologically blind supporters.

Vijayan had visited the same Mayo clinic in September 2018. Claiming that he would use the e-filing system to examine important files while in US, Vijayan refused to entrust duties to any of his own cabinet colleagues.

The fight against ‘capitalism and US imperialism’ will have to wait for a couple of weeks while the lead fighter himself gets treated by capitalist forces. Interestingly, the exact nature of the illness that affects both Vijayan and Abdurahiman, that could not be treated by the doctors back home, remains undisclosed. Yet they shamelessly make the public bear their American trip invoices.

Foreign travel seems to be a favorite past-time of Pinarayi Vijayan and his fellow Comrades in the Kerala cabinet. As many as 17 ministers in the previous LDF cabinet had toured 27 countries across the world in official and private capacities from August 2016 till December 2019, of which the chief minister had topped the list with 14 trips. Kadakampally Surendran, the beef-festival inaugurating Devaswom minister in the first Pinarayi Vijayan-led LDF cabinet, had undertaken 13 trips abroad. During the tenure of the last LDF government, the country where the ministers had travelled the most number of times was the UAE (28 visits), followed by the US (12 visits) and the UK (9 visits).

Why not in Kerala?

Like many things communist, the Kerala state government hid actual Covid numbers for a long time. At the same time, they were getting paid media to exaggerate that health care facilities in Kerala were number one. They were working day and night, but only to fill their own pockets and are now busy destroying evidence.

This phenomenon of hiding actual numbers from the public is also seen in China where astonishingly none have died from the virus that they themselves allegedly created, since May 2020. Both sets of communists still try the fake news route but there are fewer takers now.

Kerala government was forced to declare actual deaths when the central government announced compensation for the kin of the virus victims. Those numbers now show that around 50,000 Keralites have died from the virus in Kerala and around 10,000 more are waiting to be added to that list, as of date. Assam with a similar population as Kerala has barely 6,200 deaths, Jharkhand has 5,200 and Telangana around 4,000.

The hypocrisy shown by communist comrades reminded some of the ‘charity’ by organizations like Missionaries of Charity where seriously ill patients were denied basic medicines citing ‘beauty of suffering’. For many years, donations collected through selling poverty in Kolkata were being funneled to the Vatican, while the lady (who Vatican made a saint a few years back) herself availed treatment in the best US hospitals.

Teresa is known to have run squalid medical facilities, converted those on their deathbeds to Christianity, accepted money from fraudsters, and had the audacity to endorse the Indira Gandhi-driven suspension of civil liberties (Emergency) as an excellent move. She too flew to the US on multiple occasions for treatment.

Vijayan and his political party should let the public know what it is that the local specialist doctor in our state government-run super-specialty public sector hospitals is unable to detect and resolve. If it is that deadly an illness, then he should step down till he regains full fitness. But then again, as per the communist ideology, such questions could be easily termed as dissent.

A similar shroud of secrecy had enveloped the mysterious ailment that Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi allegedly suffered from, and for which she too flew to US. Her son’s frequent foreign trips to undisclosed locations all over the world also have never been explained fully by Congress handlers.
