West Bengal: Two minor Hindu girls of South Dinajpur allegedly trafficked to Haryana

Two minor Hindu girls are allegedly trafficked to Haryana, family members alleged. The families already filed a complaint at Hili Police Station. The incident has been reported from Chapahat village under Hili Police Station of South Dinajpur district of West Bengal.

As per reports, on Monday, the two girls didn’t return home from school. Family members searched everywhere for them but couldn’t find them. On the same night, family members of both girls filed a written complaint at Hili Police Station.

Family members alleged, “A few days ago, a woman from Haryana came to the village. The woman came to her relative’s house. She gifted mobile phones to the three girls of the village. She also promised several girls to give her a mobile. We suspect the girls are being taken to Haryana by the woman.”

After receiving the complaint, the Police filed a case of abduction and started the investigation. The Police already talked to the villagers. IC of Hili Police Station, Ganesh Sharma, said, “We have started the investigation. We have talked to the village. We are also investigating the matter with importance.”
