In the case of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) karyakarta Vishal Kumar’s murder in Chengannur Christian College in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, the noose is tightening for the accused. Sixth witness Rahul and fourth witness Vinu Shekhar testified before Mavelikara Additional Sessions Judge PP Pooja that Vishal was stabbed and injured by Campus Front of India terrorist Shefeeq in front of them.
During the cross-examination, the witnesses stated that Vishal was actively involved in anti-love jihad (grooming jihad by Islamists) activities in and around the college. It was revenge that led the accused to commit murder.
The fourth witness, Vinu Shekhar, also testified in the court that Shefeeq studied with him during his school days, and therefore he can be accurately identified.
Rahul testified that the ABVP karyakartas were welcoming the newcomers when the Campus Front activists attacked them. Vishal, along with Vishnu Prasad and Sreejith, were seriously injured in the attack, and Rahul witnessed the violent attack.
The Campus Front of India (CFI) is the student/campus wing of the banned Islamist organization, the Popular Front of India (PFI). The noose is tightening against the CFI terrorist as the witness statement gets stronger.
19-year-old ABVP karyakarta Vishal was murdered on the 17th of July, 2012, inside the Chengannur Christian College.
ABVP volunteers welcomed first-year graduate students when a group of Islamists from outside campus arrived and started abusing the RSS and Bhagavati Saraswati. Vishal attempted to diffuse the tension, but CFI terrorists attacked Vishal and other ABVP volunteers with knives, daggers, and other sharp weapons.
Vishal was a promising young worker in the Sangh Parivar. He strengthened the Sangh work in his village and started new shakhas in the nearby villages, too. Through his contact and campaign, Vishal had been cautioning Hindus about the evil designs of Islamic fundamentalists. He was instrumental in checking several grooming jihad attempts in and around that area.
Born in Saudi Arabia, Vishal completed his preliminary studies in London. He renounced the materialistic lifestyle there and devoted his free time to learning more about his Bharatiya roots, culture, our sacred language, Sanskrit, and the holy scriptures. Thus, he came to Bharat and started his second life for the nation.
Thousands gathered at his funeral when his family arrived. Vipin, his elder brother, standing near the pyre, sang Jeevitham Ambe Nin Poojaykay, Maranam Devi Nin Mahimaykay – (This life, Oh Mother, is for your service, and death, Oh Bhagavati, unto your greatness).
The police later arrested one Ansar Faizal in connection with the murder. Nazeem, the college unit secretary of the Campus Front, and Shefeeq, a PFI sympathiser, were also arrested in connection with the gruesome incident.
Five years later, as per reports, a chargesheet was finally filed in the matter. Twenty terror suspects were indicted in the incident. Per the chargesheet, the prime accused were Nasim, Ansar Faisal, Shefeeq, Aasif Mohammed, Shameer Rowthar MS, Shamir Rowthar, Afzal, Altaj and Shibin Habeeb.
Vishal’s story can be read here.
In early 2023, HinduPost documented how while we awaited justice for Vishal, his terrorist murderers ran establishments with fellow green communists.
Back then, several Communist Party of India Marxist (CPM) workers (including 38 top local leaders) resigned to protest the CPM leadership’s links with the PFI in the Chengannur Cheriyanad revolt within the party.
They quit since the Cheriyanad south local committee secretary, Mohammed Sheed, was working hand in glove with the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), PFI’s political wing.
Local CPM secretary Lijo Joy’s resignation letter stated that Sheed, a religious fundamentalist, criticized Hindu party members for sandalwood on their foreheads. Still, Sheed’s father hoisted the flag wearing a Turkish Khilafat model Muslim religious hat at the town branch party conference.
The letter alleged that Sheed was running a hotel business in partnership with religious extremists accused of killing Vishal. Sheed and Vishal’s case accused Ashiq and his brother Ashad as business partners.
CPM leader Sheed’s connivance helped the SDPI win the local committee secretary’s ward election. Several CPM members complained to the party leadership multiple times about the conspiracy of the PFI terrorists with the murder accused. Party leaders mentioned vote bank politics and refused to take any action against Sheed and his cronies in the CPM.
According to the Students Federation of India (SFI) (CPM’s student wing), the Fraternity Movement, the students’ arm of Jamaat-e-Islami’s political body, Welfare Party of India, has become a haven for CFI activists. The Congress’s students’ wing, Kerala Students Union, protected these characters and formed political alliances in Kerala campuses. The communists are desperately wooing the CFI terrorists.
Abhimanyu Manoharan, an SFI leader and a second-year undergraduate student at Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, was stabbed to death by CFI and SDPI terrorists on 2 June 2018, around midnight. When the CFI and the PFI were banned in September 2022, Abhimanyu’s brother, Parijith, welcomed the Centre’s decision. He said that banning PFI and CFI will help reduce bloodshed and violence on the campuses in Kerala.
The Central Government never banned the SDPI. SDPI are communist supporters in Kerala and Congress allies elsewhere.
