Dr. BR Ambedkar’s grandson bows before Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb’s tomb

In a development that indicates yet again how ‘secular’ politics in Bharat is just a facade for anti-Hinduism and hatred against the civilizational idea of Bharat, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) founder Prakash Ambedkar, who also happens to be the grandson of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, bowed before the tomb of the Mughal tyrant Aurangzeb at Khuldabad in Maharashtra on Saturday.

Khuldabad is in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, previously known as Aurangabad. A lawyer by profession, Prakash Ambedkar had been a two-term Lok Sabha member and ex-Rajya Sabha member. His party VBA has allied with radical Islamist parties like AIMIM, IUML, and other ‘secular’ parties like RJD and Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT).

Acompanied by trustees of the trust which manages the tomb, Ambedkar was seen offering floral tributes at the grave of Aurangzeb. He was also felicitated by the trustees.

Asked about the visit, Ambedkar seemingly justified Aurangzeb’s rule based on his longevity, saying: “Aurangzeb has ruled for 50 years…can it be erased?”.

Then, displaying the cognitive dissonance that most ‘secular’ leaders exhibit, Ambedkar appeared to indirectly acknowledge that Aurangzeb’s rule was harmful by blaming a Hindu king for ‘allowing’ Aurangzeb to come to power.

“How did Aurangzeb come to power…this has been explained by Babasaheb Ambedkar…you must curse Jaichand…it was because of Jaichand that Aurangzeb came to power,” he said.

Leaving aside the fact that Jaichand lived in the 12th century and Aurangzeb in the 17th, or that Jaichand has been defamed as a ‘traitor’ without any historical basis (he actually died fighting the same invader Ghori he is supposed to have invited!), such false narratives have long been used by anti-Hindu elements in our Republic to denigrate Hindu civilization.

Surprisingly, even Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Ports Minister Dada Bhuse did not outright condemn Prakash Ambedkar for glorifying the most bigoted and tyrannical of all Mughal kings, instead giving a wishy-washy statement, “It is personal choice who goes where and bows before whom….if it was done for polarisation, it was wrong.”

Last year, even the ‘farmer leader’ and failed politician, Rakesh Tikait had paid his tributes at Aurangzeb’s tomb, although he later ‘apologized‘ due to the backlash he received.

And its not just the ‘secular’ politicians, whose business depends on normalizing Hinduphobia & anti-Hindu figures so that their particular Hindu votebank remains confused and considers other Hindus as the primary enemy, who are in this business of mainstreaming a bigot like Aurangzeb, the Anglophile elite are doing the same by promoting a vicious Hindu-hating American academic like Audrey Truschke.

Like Dr. BR Ambedkar and the rest of his family, Prakash Ambedkar follows the same neo-Buddhist ‘Navayana’ religion that was founded in 1956 and which consists of 22 vows, including vows that explicitly renounce Hindu Dharma and denounce its deities.

Prakash Ambedkar’s sister Ramabai is married to suspected Maoist terrorist-ideologue Anand Teltumbde, who got out on bail last year after spending over 2 years in jail in the Bhima Koregaon violence case and the associated Maoist plot to assassinate the PM.
