Brhat signs MoU with Indian Knowledge Systems Division, Ministry of Education

We are honoured to announce that Bṛhat signed a MoU with Indian Knowledge Systems Division (IKS_Media), Ministry of Education at the inauguration of Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam, 2023.

The event was aimed to create a forum where academics, sector experts, policy makers, industry representatives, teachers, and students could come together to exchange their perspectives, success stories, and best practices in implementing the NEP 2020.

The IKS division has been actively involved in promoting and integrating Indian Knowledge System into higher education policies. It has also supported the establishment of IKS centers and research initiatives across various disciplines, throughout the county.

The objective of Bṛhat’s work in the IKS space is to re-conceptualize subjects/disciplines in the śāstrika framework. The idea is to locate every subject from its conceptualization to its application within these frameworks.

This MoU is a pivotal stride towards our vison for future of education in India and one of our primary objectives – To shape culture compatible public policy.

We announced two programmes on this occasion:

– Design Thinking for Excellence in Public Services, from civilizational perspective.

– Nītividhāna: A course on Indic Public Leadership, moving beyond theory to practice and make culturally sensitive decisions in governance roles.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to :@sangamtalks, @WhoVRIndicVerse, @Siddhanta_SKF, @IndicaOrg, and @SamPromotion for their MoUs, as well as for their outstanding contributions and dedicated efforts in promoting and advancing the realm of IKS.

We seek to learn and collaborate with more such initiatives to formulate strategies that propel and expand the IKS initiatives further.
