How Mohit Yadav aka #MonuManesar is being targeted? On January 28, a Santro car with three accused cow smugglers — Waris Khan (22), Shokeen (30) and Nafis — crashed into a tempo around 5 am near Khori Kalan on Tauru-Bhiwadi road in Nuh, Haryana.

After this incident, cow smugglers from Mewat started giving death threats to gau rakshaks. So BD & VHP organized a protest on Feb 3 in Gurugram. Mohit aka Monu Manesar is a major thorn in the side of this deadly nation-wide mafia which claims dozens of lives each year.

Move forward to night of Feb 14. Cattle smugglers Junaid Khan and Nasir Khan leave their home in Bharatpur, Rajasthan in a Bolero. Two days later their dead bodies are found in the burnt vehicle. Their kin immediately accuse Mohit and 4 other Hindu men of ‘murder’.
Mohit released a CCTV clip showing he was no where near the location where the cow smugglers were found, and denied involvement of any Bajrang Dal team. He demanded a CBI probe into the matter and offered full cooperation with authorities.
Incidentally, Junaid Khan has 5 FIRs against him dating back to 2014 – for cattle smuggling, attempt to murder, illegal arms and a reward on his head. For reasons unknown, he was never arrested or prosecuted.

Cattle are the lifeblood of Bharatiya villages, and cows are even more dear to rural, semi-urban families as compared to dogs for urbanites. The Dharmic significance of the cow, as exemplified in Sri Krishna’s special love for this gentle being, is clear as daylight.
If the state fails to protect cattle & implement the law, what are citizens expected to do? Gaurakshaks undertake a hazardous job in cooperation with police against a ruthless, armed mafia. Any witch-hunt against gaurakshaks to appease votebanks must & will be rejected.
